Hello there crafty friend!
There's still time to play along with the Inky Paws Challenge #212 - Color Challenge! You have until this coming Friday, December 8th to get your entries in for the #212 Color Challenge and a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!
Here's another look at the fun colors... Pine Bough Green, Christmas Red, Black & Kraft.
I went with a simple card for today featuring the adorable Newton's Stocking Stamp Set. I don't have the handy coordinating Newton's Stocking Die Set so I fussy cut the stocking and kitty leaving a bit of a border. And then I decided to fussy cut the present on the line since it was going in Newton's paws. I cleaned up the edges of my fussy cutting by coloring them with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker.
I stamped Newton and the present with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored him and the present up with some Copic markers. I added some foam tape to the back of the present and to Newton before popping them up on the die cut circle. Speaking of the die cut circle, I die cut the circle from pattern paper from the Meowy Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad using a stitched circle die from the Circle Frames Die Set.
I adhered a wide strip of black card stock across the front of my kraft card base. I heat embossed the sentiment using anti-static powder, white pigment ink, white embossing powder, and my heat tool.
Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used to color up the kitty and present:
Newton: R00, R20, N1, N3, N5, N7
Hat / Stocking: C00, C1, C3, R20, R14, R46
Present: E30, E33, YG11, G24, G46
Now it's your turn to get your paws inky with your Newton's Nook Designs products and create a project with the color combo of Pine Bough Green, Christmas Red, Black & Kraft. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Can't wait to see your projects!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.
Inky Hugs,
Crystal
