Membership Monday ~ August 2021 KOM Pumpkin Season ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I am back with one more Membership Monday post for the month of August... and today I'm sharing another Fall inspired card using the beautiful girl from the August 2021 Kit of the Month from Unity Stamp Co. called Pumpkin Season!! I had a blast coloring up this beautiful stamp!

I stamped the girl and sentiment on a piece of white card stock with Gina K. Amalgam black ink and then die cut it with the Big Little Chain Mini Slimline die from Gina Marie Designs. I also die cut a scrap of pattern paper from the Apple Pickin {paper pack} from Unity with the same die and then die cut it again with the reverse side of the Stitched Hillside Borders die from Lawn Fawn. When I say reverse side I mean I didn't use the stitched side... I just used the outer curved side to get the cut I wanted. I hope that makes sense.

Then I colored up the image with the following Copic markers:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11
Hair ~ E21, E25, E29
Hat ~ C00, C2, R05, R17, R22
Boots ~ E21, E25, E27
Clothes ~ YR21, YR30, B91, B93
Stairs ~ N0, N2, N3
Pumpkins ~ C00, C2, C3, E23, E25, YR15, YR21, YR30, YR68, YG11, YG63, YG67,
R46, BG70, BG72

Here's a look at the beautiful August 2021 KOM! I just love all of these amazing stamps! I hope you've been inspired to pull out your Kit of the Month and get inky! This'll be my last Membership Monday post for a little while... my husband and I have bought our first and forever home and we'll be moving soon. I'm packing up my studio and can't wait to get it moved and unpacked again so I can play! I will be sharing a few cards here and there throughout September that I was able to get done beforehand so I hope you'll stop by and check them out.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 13 ~ Dashing Deer ~ My Favorite Things

 Hello there crafty friend!
I had a little fun with this week's Christmas card(s)... first of all, I flipped {BYSHC} Sketch 13! That's fun to do sometimes and I think it works better with the cute deer from the Dashing Deer stamp set from My Favorite Things.

AND then, I wanted to see how the card would look with a bit of kraft on one and an all white card for the other. I'm curious to hear which is your favorite... let me know in the comments.

I started by stamping the deer twice on scraps of white card stock. I colored them up with the following Copic markers and used a Sakura white gelly roll pen for the dots:

Hat ~ C00, C2, R000, R14, R46
Scarf ~ R000, R14, R46
Deer ~ E21, E35, E51, R00, R20, Colorless Blender

I used the coordinating dies to die cut the deer and set it aside. I cut a 6 x 6" card base for each card and scored it at 3". I die cut a circle from kraft card stock and another from white card stock and ran both through my big shot with the Softly Falling embossing folder from Stampin' Up. I die cut a scrap of white card stock with the Stitched Hillside Borders die from Lawn Fawn for my snow and then I die cut it again with the circle die... one for each card.

For the embossed background, I ran the Cable Knit embossing folder from Stampin' Up through my big shot with a piece of white card stock and then I cut it in half so I had a piece for each card. That piece measures 5-3/4 x 2-3/4". I didn't want to cover up the pretty knit background so I cut a couple pieces of vellum card stock measuring 4 x 2".

I stamped the sentiments... one with Wow Clear Embossing ink and melted Alabaster White embossing powder and the other is Memento Tuxedo black ink. Trimmed the sentiments and adhered them to the card.

I adhered the circles to the cards as well. I actually didn't pop up any of my layers for this card. I think the dimension in the embossed background is good enough.

And then I adhered the deer to the circles. Which one is your favorite? I keep changing my mind... LOL! I really like how they both turned out!

Here's a look at the fun {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 13 for the month of August!

Fall Inspired Mini Slimline ~ Miss Anya Pumpkin Spice ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a sweet Fall inspired mini slimline card featuring the adorable Miss Anya Pumpkin Spice digi stamp from The Greeting Farm. I love Fall and I've been itching to play with this adorable digi set forever!! At least, it feels that long!

I combined and resized the images in a Word document and then printed it off. The pumpkins are from the Hello Fall digi stamp set, also from The Greeting Farm. I used the My Favorite Fall paper pad by Echo Park Papers for my pattern paper layer that I adhered to a kraft mini slimline card base measuring 7 x 6-1/2", scored at 3-1/2".

I didn't want to cover up all that pretty Fall plaid so I cut off that top right corner and I added a few coordinating enamel dots.

I colored up this pretty image with the following Copic markers:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E02, E04, E11, R00, R20
Hair ~ Y21, E39, E44, E59
Clothes ~ V000, V04, V12, B0000, B000, B00, C00, C2
Boots ~ C00, C1, C2, C4, C5
Mug ~ C00, C2, BG0000, BG11, BG23
Pumpkins ~ C00, C2, C3, BG0000, BG11, BG13, BG23, YR15, YR21, YR68, E21, E27, E33
Ground ~ N0, N2
Outline ~ B0000

I trimmed the sentiment down that I had also printed off with Miss Anya. And then I popped it up on the card with foam squares. Done! And I love it!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Membership Monday ~ August 2021BOM, KOM & UU ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with another Membership Monday card using the gorgeous August 2021 Uniquely Unity membership from Unity Stamp Co. called Season of Inspiration... but I also used a sentiment from this month's Kit of the Month AND the amazing Background of the Month for my card!! It was so fun to use three different memberships for this one beautiful card!

I started by blending my background of Vintage Photo, Mustard Seed, and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide inks. I added a bit of water splatter and dabbed my background with a piece of paper towel. And then I stamped the fun Nouveau Background of the Month stamp with Ranger Archival jet black ink. I set my background aside and stamped this gorgeous pumpkin from the Season of Inspiration stamp set with Gina K. Amalgam black ink.

I colored up the pumpkin with the following Copic markers:

Blossoms ~ Y06, Y15, YR15, YR16, YR21
Pumpkin ~ E33, G24, BG70, BG72, BG75

I fussy cut the pumpkin and cleaned up the edges with a Memento Tuxedo black marker.

I die cut a piece of Kraft card stock with the Frames: Scalloped Stitched Rectangles from Gina Marie Designs. I adhered the die cut piece to my background and then adhered the entire panel to a white A2 top fold card base. I stamped the Happy Fall sentiment from the Pumpkin Season KOM with Wow Clear embossing ink and then melted some Alabaster White embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. I trilled the sentiment and actually die cut it with the Frames die on that right side so that it would match up with scallops. I adhered the sentiment to the card and added a few enamel dots in coordinating colors. I love making Fall cards!! This one turned out just as I envisioned... so pretty!

Here's a quick look at the three memberships that I used for this card...

Aren't they all just SO BEAUTIFUL?! I can't wait for Fall!! Well, that's it for me today. I'll be back next week with one more Membership Monday card!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 13 ~ Owl Bundle Up ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I am really loving the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 13 over at the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group... mini slimline cards are so fun!! For my card today I used the adorable Owl Bundle Up stamp set from Unity Stamp Co!! I adore the sweet owls illustrated by Lisa Arana for Unity... some of my most favorite stamps!

I paired up this sweet owl with the beautiful Santa's Workshop papers from Carta Bella Paper Co. I was looking for a paper that coordinated with the blue greens I colored the owls little sweater, but I couldn't find the right one. However, I do like the slight contrast... I think it helps Mr. Owl to pop on the card! And these papers created a nice background for him.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

Owl ~ W00, W1, W3, W5, YR15, YR21, YR24
Scarf ~ R000, R14, R46
Sweater ~ BG0000, BG10, BG13, BG23

Just Keep Swimming Card Set ~ August 2021 Whit Kit ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!

I'm back with a whole set of fun and quick cards using the beautiful August 2021 Whit Kit called Just Keep Swimming from Unity Stamp Co.!! The beautiful By the Sea {paper pack} inspired this quick set of cards with all the white space in the top portion... it screamed for a sentiment!

I trimmed four different papers from the By the Sea {paper pack} down to 4 x 5-1/4" and stamped each of them with one of the four sentiments included in the Just Keep Swimming stamp set.

I adhered each piece to a True Black card front measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2" and then adhered the card fronts to white A2 top fold card bases.

I set those aside and stamped four turtles on scrap pieces of white card stock. I colored each of the turtles pretty quick with just 3 Copic markers ~ BG11, G24, G99.

I fussy cut each of the turtles and cleaned up the edges with a Memento Tuxedo black marker and then I adhered them to the cards. This whole set of cards maybe took me 30 minutes... I think the longest part was the fussy cutting. I'm sharing a quick video on my YouTube channel - showing all the fun goodies in the August 2021 Whit Kit and also how I quickly copic colored the turtles! You can check out that video here... August 2021 Whit Kit Reveal & Quick Copic Coloring of a Turtle.

Here's a quick look at the fun set of cards that I created! These would make a great gift for a friend!

And I used the same basic design only a bit bigger to make a 5 x 7" shaker card using the shaker pocket from the card kit.

Unfortunately the photos didn't turn out very well, but you get the main idea!

Here's another look at this month's fab Whit Kit... if you aren't signed up for this fun membership, you should really give it a go! The kits are so amazing each month!

That's it for me this time. I'll be back tomorrow with my weekly Christmas card!

Just Keep Swimming Shimmer Card ~ August 2021 Whit Kit ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!

Today I'm sharing a pretty card using the beautiful August 2021 Whit Kit called Just Keep Swimming from Unity Stamp Co!! I decided to use the fun Nuvo Shimmer Powder from this Whit Kit and the two other shimmer powders from a past Whit Kit and make a fun background for some turtles to just keep swimming in!!

I created the background by tapping the bottom of each of the Shimmer Powder bottles over a 4-1/4 x 5-1/2" piece of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor card stock and spritzing the card stock with water.

I dried the background and then added some more Shimmer Powder and spritzed more water. I did this a couple of times until I was happy with the background. I let the background dry and then I stamped the cute turtle a few times and the sentiment on the background with Gina K. Amalgam black ink. I trimmed the background to 3-3/4 x 4-3/4" and mat it with a piece of True Black card stock measuring 3-7/8 x 4-7/8".

I added some Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue around the bottom edge and right corner and sprinkled it with the Seaside Sequin mix from the kit. I adhered a few more sequins around the turtles and then let the background dry again. I cut a card front of True Black card stock and then found a scrap piece of Aqua Mist card stock measuring 2-3/8 x 5". I adhered the background piece to the Aqua Mist scrap and than adhered the entire piece to the True Black card front and then a white A2 top fold card base. I just adore the shimmer in this background!! So pretty!

Here's a little look at the August 2021 Whit Kit... so much fun!
I'll be back tomorrow with a set of cards that I created with the kit!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

I kept this pretty card CAS with just a bit of copic coloring and a simple black mat. First I resized the images in a Word document and print them off on a piece of card stock. I then die cut the image with a Scalloped Stitched Slimline die from Gina Marie Design.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 13 ~ Cozy With You ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!

I'm back with my weekly Christmas card using the fun {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 13 along with an adorable stamp set from The Greeting Farm called Cozy With You! This is one of my absolute favorite stamp sets for Christmas!! So many adorable stamps and the Merry Christmas y'all sentiment is one of my faves! Sadly, I'm not seeing this set available on the website right now, but stop by and check out all the other fun Holiday stamps here.

For my card, I decided to dig into the Milk & Cookies papers by Doodlebug Designs. I'm still trying to use up all this paper pack!! LOL! Since there's a cute gingerbread man in the stamp set, I thought I'd use the adorable gingerbread man papers from the paper pad! And I paired it up with the sprinkles paper which works well with the sprinkles on the star cookie!

I stamped the gingerbread man, star cookie, and mug on a scrap of white card stock and then colored the sweet girl on another piece of card stock. I die cut her out with a circle die. Then I colored them all up with the following Copic markers:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11, R00, R20
Hair ~ E15, E21, E33
Clothes ~ R000, R14, R27
Scarf ~ YG11, G14; white gel pen
Cup ~  BG0000, BG11, BG23
Star Cookie ~ E21, C00, C2, YG11, G14, R14, R27, BG11, BG23
Gingerbread Man ~ E21, E23, E25, E55
Oh Joy Mug ~ R000, R14, R27, C00, C2, RV10, RV21
Grounding ~ N1, N3
Outline ~ BG0000, BG11

I fussy cut the cookies and mug and then I cleaned up the edges with a Memento Tuxedo black marker. I adhered them all together and then adhered the mug slightly over the circle piece. Then I popped up the whole piece with foam squares. I stamped the sentiment, trimmed it and popped it up on the card too. I think this turned out pretty cute!

Vintage Krafty Christmas ~ Tin Tile Background & Holly Jolly Holiday ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new release over at Unity and I am absolutely loving the fab new Tin Tile Background stamp and, of course, the Holly Jolly Holiday stamps!!! Ahh-mazing!!! I had to pair them up together and make a vintage krafty Christmas card!

I blended a background on Kraft card stock with Peacock Feathers and Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide inks and then I stamped the Tin Tile Background with Ranger Archival jet black ink. I added a bit of Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink around the outer edges and die cut the piece with a large stitched rectangle die. I also die cut the center with a smaller stitched rectangle die and I mat both pieces with a piece of Neenah Grocer Kraft card stock. I added a bit of Apple Barrel white acrylic paint splatter to both layers.

I stamped the cute Santa and sentiment from the Holly Jolly Holiday stamp set with Gina K. Designs Amalgam black ink and colored up Santa with the following Copic markers:

Skin ~ E00, E04, E11, R20
Coat / Hat ~ R000, R14, R46
Shoes / Mittens ~ N3
White Accents ~ C00, C3, Sakura White Gelly Roll pen

I die cut my focal piece with a stitched circle die and added a bit of Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink around the edges. I wrapped my card front with a piece of Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen Ribbon from Stampin' Up (pretty sure it's retired) and then adhered my smaller rectangle piece. I tied a pretty bow with another piece of the pretty ribbon and adhered it to the card with a couple glue dots. And I popped up my focal piece with foam squares... done!

I just adore how this vintage krafty Christmas card turned out! I hope you like it too! Be sure to check out all the amazing new releases over at Unity Stamp Co. and, of course, there's a fab sale going on!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.
