{BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party ~ Christmas Time Cats ~ Newton's Nook Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with one more make for the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party hosted on the {BYSHC} blog! Today I'm sharing a sweet holiday card featuring lots of goodies from our fabulous Sponsor Newton's Nook Designs.

I started with my background. I have a whole bunch of paper scraps left in my Christmas Time 6x6 Paper Pad and wanted to use them for a background so I adhered the pieces to a piece of paper. And then I die cut it using a die from the Arched Frames Die Set. I chose a houndstooth pattern paper from the Canine Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad for my background paper. I die cut that piece using the large rounded rectangle die from the Arched Frames Die Set.

The cute kitties needed some snow to celebrate on so I die cut a piece of white card stock using the arch die again and then ran it through my Big Shot with the hill die from the Land Borders Die Set. I stamped the adorable kitties from the Christmas Time Cats Stamp Set and colored them up with Copic markers. Die cut the kitties using the coordinating Christmas Time Cats Die Set and then popped them up on the card using iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white) from Sponsor Therm O Web.

The card needed a little something so I die cut a few snowflakes using the Snowfall Die Set and adhered them directly to the card using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Therm O Web. I just love how this turned out! Hope you like it too.

Here's my list of Copic markers used:
Siamese Kitty: R00, R20, W0, W2, W5
Orange Kitty: R00, R20, YR20, YR21, YR15, YR27
Gray Kitty: C0, C1, C3, C5
Red: R20, R14, R27
Green: YG11, YG17
Yellow: Y15, Y38
White: C0, C2
Antlers: E11, E25

{BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party ~ Snowflake Deer ~ A Colorful Life Designs

Hello again crafty friend!
I'm back with another holiday card for day 7 of the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party!! I can't believe how fast the time has flown... the link party ends tomorrow. Today I have a CAS card using a gorgeous stencil from our wonderful Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs.

I placed the gorgeous Snowflake Deer Stencil over my white card stock securing it with iCraft Removable Pixie Tape from our Sponsor Therm O Web. And then I blended from bottom to top using Evergreen Bough, Peacock Feathers, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks. I also blended some Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink on a scrap of white card stock for the ornament topper.

I die cut the stenciled panel using the Joyful Ornament Die from Sponsor Gina K. Designs. I used the Joyful Ornament Embossing Folder from Gina K. Designs for my background layer. And I used the Festive Penguins stamp set from Gina K. Designs for my sentiment. All of these fab products were part of the A Little Something Kit that I got from Gina K. Designs last year.

I die cut the topper from the Chipped Sapphire scrap and also another topper from just scrap white card stock. I adhered them together on either side of the ornament to make the topper just a little more sturdy. I pulled a silver cord through the topper and taped it to the back of the embossed layer and then adhered the panel to a white A2 top fold card.

If you haven't already, stop by the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared. Tomorrow is the last day to get entries in. I hope you have an INKredible day!

{BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party ~ Membership Wednesday ~ October 2026 KOM Frosted with Personality ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! It's day 6 of the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party!! I'm excited to share another fun holiday card that I've made to add to my Christmas stash! This time I played with a fun stamp, beautiful papers, and a large sentiment die from our wonderful Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. for a fun shaker card.

The adorable gingerbread is from the October 2026 KOM called Frosted with Personality. There's a cute trio of gingerbread men in the kit. And they are actually available separately in the Baking Spirits Bright stamps.

Copic markers used:
Gingerbread: E21, E23, E25
Hat / Candy Cane: R20, R14, R27, C0, C2
Buttons: BG10, BG72
Ground: C0, C2

I paired up the cute gingerbread with the beautiful Minty Christmas {paper pack} using larger scraps from my paper pack. I die cut the sentiment from red card stock several times using the Spotlight Steal from a couple years ago called All the Joy {word die}. I also fussy cut a circle from clear card stock that fit just inside of the 'O'. I adhered all of my 'JOY' layers together except my top layer that I adhered to the clear card stock 'O'.

I adhered the little peppermints under the gingerbread. Why? Because I wasn't confident there was enough space for those pieces to actually shake around. I added some Crystal Clear Rock Candy Glitter from Tim Holtz for my actual shaker element and then adhered my top layer sealing the shaker. I trimmed up the sentiment and added some foam tape to it so it'll stay flat and then I finished off the card with a few red glitter enamel dots from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs.

Here's a look at the Kit of the Month membership I used.

This wonderful set is also available separately as a KOMpanion set called Baking Spirits Bright.

If you haven't already, stop by the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! I have sooo many ideas from all the inspiration being shared. I just want to play all day long! I hope you have an INKredible day!

{BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party ~ TOPII Sketch 46 ~ TEN Quick Holiday Cards ~ Not 2 Shabby

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's already day 5 of the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party!! We are more than halfway through now. I can't believe how fast the time flies when you are having fun! Today I'm sharing two sets of 5 holiday cards for a total of TEN Christmas cards featuring gorgeous papers and ephemera from our fab Sponsor Not 2 Shabby. Lots more inspiration for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 46. There's just a few days left to play along with the sketch challenge!

My first set of 5 cards featuring the beautiful Christmas Cardinal 6x6 Paper Pad & Christmas Cardinal Ephemera from this month's Paper Pad Club from Not 2 Shabby. Sadly, it looks like these are out of stock. But there is a waiting list available if you're interested... just click the link above.

I used the measurements from the sketch for this card.

With this card I realized that if I cut my background paper the strip leftover worked nicely as the right side layer so that's what I did for the rest of my cards.

It was so much fun to mix and match the papers from this paper pad!

And these cards were all so quick and easy since there was no coloring involved.

I stamped the lovely sentiment from the Stamp of the Month Club called Season's Tweetings five times and trimmed it into a strip for each card. The ephemera pieces are popped up with foam tape for a bit of dimension but otherwise all the layers are adhered directly to a white A2 top fold card base.

My card design was inspired by TOP Inky Inspiration Sketch 46. This sketch worked wonderfully for these two quick sets of cards. So fun! The sketch challenge ends on Monday, October 26th! Get your entries in!

My second set of 5 cards featuring the beautiful Cocoa & Cozy Days 6x6 Paper Pad and coordinating Cocoa & Cozy Days Ephemera.

I just adore these papers!! So sweet and cozy!

Just like the first set I cut the background layer to 4 x 5-1/4" {which is a little smaller than the sketch calls for} and then I trimmed the leftover panel to 5", flipped it over and adhered it to the background panel. Easy peasy!

And I knew that they papers would coordinate since they are from the same paper pad AND the reverse of the background paper.

My rectangles for the ephemera pieces are all different depending on the size of the ephemera piece. I debated running them through my Big Shot with an embossing folder but decided to keep them simple {minus the first card with the bear - he didn't need one.}

I finished off this set of cards with a few White Glossy Card Bling confetti pieces from Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs. I adhered all of my layers using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web. And I popped up the ephemera using iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white) also from Therm O Web. I love how these turned out!

I sure hope you'll stop by the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! All of the cards are so inspiring! I hope you have an INKtastic day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

{BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party ~ Good Cheer ~ Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

 Hello again crafty friend!
I'm back with a sweet holiday card for day 4 of the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party!! I inked up the super cute and sweet Good Cheer stamp set from Sponsor Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps.

I inked up this sweet bird on a wreath and colored it up with Copic markers to coordinate with the lovely and sadly retired Sparkling Christmas Wishes 6x6 Paper Pad from Sponsor Not 2 Shabby.

Copic markers used:
Bird: W0, W1, W3, W5, YR15, YR68, C0, C2, BG10
Hat: C0, C2, R20, R14
Wreath: E21, E23, E25
Leaves: BG10, B00, B82, B02
Berries: R20, R14

Inspiration for my card came from one of our past sketches... BYSHC Sketch 73. I really enjoyed this month from last month and thought it would be real nice with this cute bird.

My pink plaid layer was die cut using the A2 Lacy Layers Die from Sponsor Waffle Flower. And the banner layers were die cut using the Scallops & Banners {nesting dies} from Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. The snowflake circle was in my stash of 'things to use later'... it was perfect to mat the wreath.

I adhered my layers using the iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web. The focal panel and sentiment are both popped up with iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white) also from Therm O Web to give the card some dimension.

If you haven't already, stop by the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! My mojo is on overdrive with all the ideas I'm collecting! I hope you have an INKredible day!

{BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party ~ Snowman Smiles ~ Whimsy Stamps

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 3 of the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party!! I'm excited to share another holiday card that I've made to add to my Christmas stash! This time I made a fun mini slimline card featuring fun papers and stamps from our brand new Sponsor Whimsy Stamps!

I saw a fun sketch that had several squares over the background and thought it would be fun to try with a mini slimline card base. Of course, I didn't measure and just started cutting so I had to adjust and add a mat which turned out okay because it helps the snow in the paper pop a bit more. I cut a gorgeous pattern paper from the Dickens 6x6 Paper Pack. The squares are 1-1/4". The white mat measures 2-3/4 x 5-1/2".  And they are all adhered to a black mini slimline measuring 3 x 6".  I adhered all of my layers together with iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web.

The adorable snowman is from the Snowman Smiles stamp set. Isn't he the cutest?! I stamped him and the tree with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored him up with the following Copic markers:

Snowman: B000, B00
Nose: YR20, YR21, YR15
Arms / Tree Trunk: E21, E23
Tree: YG11, G24, G46

I wanted to bring the snowman scene forward on the card so I die cut a circle from vellum card stock using the retired X Stitched Circle dies from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs. I heat embossed the sweet sentiment directly on the paper - which was kinda tricky after gluing it all together so there's some extra 'snow' on that panel. Ooops! I finished off the card with some fun snowy details using a Marvy Uchida Snow Marker and my heat tool.

If you haven't already, stop by the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! I have so many wonderful ideas for future cards! So inspiring! I hope you have an INKredible day!

Hello there crafty friend!

I used the gorgeous retired Folk Holiday Tags Stamp & Stencil Combo along with the retired Folk Holiday Tags Dies. This tree was so much fun to make using the stamp and stencil combo!! I see lots of fun color combos for this in my future!

For my background I used the gorgeous Create-in-Quads Layering Stencils - Mistletoe. I used the same mix of colors I used for the tree which was... Shabby Shutters, Rustic Wilderness, Kitsch Flamingo, and Candied Apple Distress Inks.

I just realized I forgot a sentiment for this card! LOL! Well, I'll have to add one before I mail it. I finished off the card with a few tiny enamel dots from the retired Christmas Enamel Dots. I believe I got these enamel dots in last years Advent Calendar from Taylored Expressions.

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm so excited to share my first card for the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party hosted by the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! This is our sixth annual Falling for the Holidays Linky Party! Woohoo!! This event is a great excuse to get ahead on your holiday cards to relieve some of the stress later on in the year during the holidays. My first card features a fabulous digital stamp from our wonderful Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs called Christmas Mailer Digital Stamp. So many beautiful digital stamps in this set... it was really hard to pick just one but I do love this cute Santa. I combined and resized this fun digital stamp in a Word Document and printed it off on white card stock.

I also used the fabulous Christmas Joy Script Background Digital Stamp for my background. I printed this off with the Santa postage on one sheet of white card stock. I trimmed the sheet and die cut the script background using a die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} from Sponsor Unity Stamp Co.

Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E02
Hair / Beard / Mustache / Postage: C0, C2
Fur Trim: W0, W1, W3
Hat / Coat: R20, R14, R27
Holly: YG11, G24, G46
Berries / 25 Cents: R20, R14, R27

I adhered the background to a red A2 card base using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web. And then I popped up the sentiment and postage focal piece using the iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white) also from Therm O Web. I finished off the card with a few red glitter enamel dots from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs.

I'm also a Sponsor for the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2026 Linky Party!!
