Release Day Blog Hop ~ You Are My Sunshine ~ The Greeting Farm

The March 2025 New Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new stamp sets. Our first set called REGENCY COUPLE is full of elegance and romance and features a dapper Ian ready to court our beautiful Anya. Next, all the cute TGF animals have gathered outside to bask under the warm sun in our set called YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE. Lastly, we showcased ANYA'S CANDY SHOP which carries a wide assortment of delicious sweet treats.

I just adore this sweet bear from the super cute You Are My Sunshine stamp set and wanted to feature him on a CAS card so I pulled out a pretty embossing folder from my stash. I ran it through my big shot and trimmed it down to 4 x 5-1/4". I adhered it to a white A2 top fold card base. I then found a scrap of white card stock to adhere across the card base.

I die cut a piece of white card stock using a square die from my stash. I stamped the sweet bear and flowers on a scrap of white card stock and colored them up with Copic markers. I fussy cut the bear and the flowers and colored the edges with a black marker. I adhered the bear to the square and popped up the square on the card. I stamped, trimmed and popped up the sentiment on the card with foam tape.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Flower Crown: Y11, Y15, R11, R22, V000, V12, V15, B000, B00, YG11, YG03, YG63
Bear: E51, E33, E35, N2, N4, N6
Flowers: Y11, YR15, R00, R11, R22

You Are My Sunshine ~ Preview Day 2 ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 2 of previews at The Greeting Farm for the March release. Oh. My. Cuteness... all the critters in the You Are My Sunshine stamp set are just too cute for words!!

I created a sweet little scene on a slimline card with some fun layers. I used the Slim Line Cloud Coverage Stencil from Picket Fence along with the Hills & Grass Stencil from Newton's Nook Designs. And I used Tumbled Glass & Mowed Lawn Distress Inks to blend over those stencils.

I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them up with Copic Markers. I used a bunch of markers so the list is a bit long this time:
Bird: B000, B00, Y11, Y15, YR15
Deer: R00, R20, E21, E51, E23, E25
Daisy Garland: C00, C2, Y11, Y15
Bunny: C00, C2, R00, R20
Bear: R00, R20, E51, E33, E35, E37, N2, N4, N6
Bear's Flower Crown: YG11, YG03, YG63, R11, R22, V000, V12, V15, Y11, Y15
Fox: E51, E95, E97, E09, N2, N6
Flowers: Y11, Y15, YR15, V000, V12, R00, R11, B000, B00

I die cut the stenciled layers using dies from the Scalloped Card Panels Die from Trinity Stamps. I fussy cut all the critters and flowers and then colored the edges of my fussy cutting with a black marker.

I adhered the layers to a slimline card measuring 7 x 8-1/2"; scored at 3-1/2". And then I adhered all the critters and flowers to the card. To finish it off, I stamped the sentiment directly onto the card. This was so fun to make! I enjoyed coloring all the critters and flowers for the scene. The release goes live in the store on the 15th at 12am EST.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 34 ~ Let it Snow Collection ~ Doodlebug Designs Inc.

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm sharing one last Christmas card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 34 for the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group. Today is the last day to get your entries in for this month's challenge. My card today features papers and ephemera from Doodlebug Designs... yup, the Let it Snow Collection again!

I shared a card using the Let it Snow Collection for this month's sketch at the beginning of the month and I just couldn't help but make another. I love these papers and the ephemera (die cut pieces) are just too cute! They also make for really quick cards which is such a bonus right now while we're on Summer break.

I created a little background by combining two pattern papers from the Let it Snow 6x6 paper pad. I combined a couple ephemera pieces from the Let it Snow Odds & Ends pack for a little scene and grounded my scene with a sentiment die cut piece from the Let it Snow Chit Chat pack that I popped up with foam tape.

I finished off the card by adding a few snowflake stickers but I can't seem to find the packaging to share which pack they are from. So sorry about that! I know it's from Doodlebug Designs as well... just not sure which collection.

Here's one last look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge #34 for the month of June. If you have a little time today maybe you can play along but remember to get your entry into the album before 11:59pm PST to count towards the challenge. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 22 ~ Let It Snow ~ Doodlebug Design Inc.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with my weekly Christmas card using the {BYSHC} Sketch 22 from the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group and this week I was looking to make a quick card so I grabbed my Let It Snow collection from Doodlebug Design Inc. I have been slowly using up the adorable paper pad as I keep reaching for this collection it seems each month for my Christmas cards. I just can't help it! I love the adorable images and pretty designs of the papers!

This time I chose two pretty papers that were mostly blue. I thought they worked really well together and I could use the adorable polar bear die cut from the Let It Snow Odds & Ends die cuts (ephemera) pack. I also chose the cute red bird... I think they would be the best of friends!

The pattern papers measure 3 x 6" together and are adhered to a white mini slimline card base measuring 7 x 6-1/2"; scored at 3-1/2". I die cut a piece of white card stock with the Ric Rac die from My Favorite Things. I had to cut it in the middle and adhered it to either end of the pattern paper but that was fine because the polar bear covers up the space in between.

The punny sentiment is from the Let it Snow Chit Chat die cut pack. I adhered the little bird on top of the bear with a tiny bit of liquid glue on the tips of its feet and then I adhered the bear to the sentiment banner with a tiny bit of liquid glue on the tips of his feet. I then popped up the whole combined piece with foam tape. I added a few Let it Snow Shape Sprinkles enamel shapes to the card to finish it off.

Here's a look at the fun {BYSHC} Sketch 22 for the month of May!

A Little Irish Luck! ~ Irish Luck ~ Penny Black

Happy St. Paddy's Day, crafty friend!
I hope you have a wonderful St. Paddy's Day! It's always a fun day at our house and I look forward to it each year. Today, I have a cute CAS St. Paddy's Day card to share.

I stamped the adorable bear from the Irish Luck stamp set from Penny Black with Gina K. Black Amalgam ink and colored him up with the following Copic Markers:

Fur ~ E21, E23, E25, E27, R0000, R20, R22
Tie / Shirt ~ R14, R27, YG11, YG13
Vest ~ YG11, YG13, YG63, YG97
Hat ~ N1, N3, N5, Y06, Y15, Y35, Y28, YG11, YG13, YG63, YG97
Shamrocks ~ YG11, C00
Banner ~ YG11, YG13, YG63

Once I was done coloring I fussy cut the bear and then stamped the banner sentiment. I colored it up and then fussy cut it. I cleaned up the edges by coloring them with a Memento Tuxedo black marker. I adhered the banner sentiment to the bear and set it aside.

I ink smooshed a white card front measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2" into a bit of Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks cleaning up my glass mat between colors. I kept my card CAS by leaving a lot of white space. I blended some Forest Moss Distress Oxide ink over the circle design on the Quattro Motifs stencil from The Craft Workshop.

I trimmed the card front to 4-1/8 x 5-3/8" and stamped the "A little" sentiment directly on the card front. I adhered the card front to a white A2 top fold card base. I popped up the bear and sentiment with foam tape. I think it turned out pretty cute.

I'm entering my card in the challenge over at the CASology blog for the fun HAT cue.

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 19 ~ Merry & Bright ~ Doodlebug Design Inc.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I can't believe it, but it's the first of February already and that means it's time for a new sketch challenge over at the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing not one, but two cards, using the new {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 19 along with some really cute Doodlebug Design products!

How stinkin' cute is this polar bear? I love him! I paired him up with the Let It Snow papers.

I thought it would be cute to have some background paper with the polar bear in it too.

I contrasted the cute background scene paper with the diagonal plaid paper and added a skinny strip of pink pattern paper from the paper pad. I mat the cut-apart sentiment on some white card stock and adhered it to the card. And I popped up the cute polar bear die cut from the Odds & Ends pack with some foam tape.

And for card #2... I went with a very similar design but this time I featured the adorable snowman.

How sweet it that little hat?! So cute!

The sentiment is another cut-apart from the paper pad. I mat it again with white card stock and popped up the snowman with foam tape. Easy peasy... and adorable!

Here's a look at the fun {BYSHC} Sketch 19 for the month of February!
I hope you'll join us and play along with the sketch! If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! I'll be back on Friday with my regular weekly Christmas card using this month's sketch!
