{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 66 ~ Tender Thoughts ~ Creative Worship Stamps

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a little inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 66 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a lovely Christmas card featuring a beautiful stamp set from our amazing Sponsor Creative Worship Stamps! This month's prize is a $20 gift code to Creative Worship Stamps! Woohoo!

I started by ink smooshing my backgrounds for this one onto a card front {4-1/4 x 5-1/2"} and a scrap of white card stock that was just large enough for the tree stamp from the Tender Thoughts Stamp and Die Bundle. I ink smooshed the panels with Stormy Sky, Seedless Preserves, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks. Once I was happy with the ink smooshing, I blended more Chipped Sapphire over the whole panel.

I dried the backgrounds completely with a Wagner Precision Heat Tool. I applied some anti static powder to the scrap panel. I stamped the beautiful trees from the Tender Thoughts Stamp and Die Bundle on my scrap panel using Sugar Cube Pigment Ink from Taylored Expressions and then I dusted the wet ink with Alabaster White Embossing Powder from Unity and melted it with a heat tool. I die cut the panel using a stitched circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from Unity. I also die cut a scrap of white card stock just to get the snowy ground piece for the deer. I fussy cut the wavy hill with EK Success Cutter Bee Scissors.

I die cut the background panel using a stitched rectangle die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} from Unity. I adhered the circle to the panel and then trimmed off the edge. And then I spattered the whole panel using Apple Barrel White Acrylic Paint. I stamped the deer with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and I started fussy cutting it on the line and then remembered too late that I had a die and could have used that to cut it out. I stamped the sentiment from the Holly Jolly Stamp & Die Bundle and die cut it out with the coordinating die. I popped up the sentiment on the card with foam tape. I finished the card off with a few pieces of White Glossy Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 62 ~ Joy of the Season ~ Gina K. Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with one last card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 62 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Celebrating Blue Christmas with this one! My mom loved that song by Elvis Presley. She played it all the time! So naturally, I love it because it reminds me of her.

Anywho, I had a lot of fun making this card! I started by heat embossing the beautiful trees on white card stock with white pigment ink and white embossing powder. I wanted to be sure the trees would stay a nice, bright white. The beautiful trees and deer are from one of my favorite Gina K. Designs stamp sets, a collaboration with Simon Says Stamp for STAMPtember back in 2018 called Joy of the Season. Good news though... the trees are available in the Tall Pine stamp set. I don't see the same deer on the website but there's a pretty deer silhouette in the Holiday Silhouettes stamp set and a similar one in the Season's Greetings stamp set.

Once my trees had cooled off, I started ink smooshing with Salvaged Patina, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Inks. It's not super easy to ink smoosh with heat embossed images. The raised images tend to keep the paper from reaching the ink pools, so I do tend to do more ink and a bit more water so the pool of ink is a little deeper. Once I was happy with the ink smooshing, I started blending with the inks until I was happy with the background. Lastly, I spattered the background with white acrylic paint that I thinned with a spritz of water. And then I ended up trimming the background way down to fit the sketch. That actually hurt after all that work on the background. But I made another background and adhered it to a black A2 card base. I trimmed the tree panel into three segments following the design of the sketch and adhered it to a black mat. I popped it up on the card base with foam tape.

I heat embossed the sentiment from the Christmas Cheer stamp set on black card stock again with white pigment ink and white embossing powder. I die cut it using the coordinating Christmas Cheer die set, and then I popped it up on the card with foam tape. I stamped the pretty deer using the three distress inks. I started with the lightest, Salvaged Patina, and worked my way down with the Chipped Sapphire and then Black Soot inks. Hint: to keep from getting harsh lines between your inks use a blending brush along the edge of the ink on your stamp. It's a wonderful way to stamp silhouette stamps!

Membership Wednesday ~ October 2025 KOM Frost & Folklore Snowman ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a sweet wintry card I made using a cute stamp from the October 2025 Kit of the Month membership from Unity.

I played with my Copic markers and white Prismacolor pencil and colored up this cute duo on some Kraft card stock. SO fun!

Copic markers used:
Snowman: B000, B00, R20
Nose: YR20, YR15, YR68
Arms: E21, E25
Buttons: N0, N2, N4
Scarf: R20, R14, R29
Bird: Y11, Y15, Y35, B000, B00, B02
Heart: R14

I decided to keep the card simple with just some torn edges and a white layer peeking through the Kraft layers.

But I couldn't help adding some spatters to the card. Did I go a little overboard with the spatters? Maybe... but I love how it turned out! What do you think?

Here's a quick look at this month's Kit of the Month membership!

This adorable duo stamp is also available separately in the Frost & Feathers stamps.

That's it for me today! I hope you've been INKspired to play with your membership stamps!
Have a wonderful day!

Membership Wednesday ~ October 2025 KOM Frost & Folklore ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing 3 SUPER quick tags I made using stamps from the October 2025 Kit of the Month membership from Unity.

These were so quick guys! Once I figured out what I was going to do, that is! I stamped the three tag images with Black Amalgam ink on Kraft card stock. I used circle dies from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} to die cut each of them.

I also die cut pattern paper from the gorgeous new I'll be Home for Christmas {paper pack} using a slightly larger die from the same nesting dies. I adhered them together, punched a hole in the top with a 1/8" circle punch and added some twine.

I thought they needed something else so I tied a few bows from the iridescent ribbon I got from Unity years ago. I adhered those to the tags with glue dots. Done. Super quick and easy. And, of course, they could easily be jazzed up with some coloring and/or bling. But I love them just like this.

Here's a quick look at this month's Kit of the Month membership!

These amazing tag stamps are also available separately in the With Love, From Me stamps.

Today I'm sharing a fun holiday card featuring the cutest deer from the October 2025 Kit of the Month membership from Unity.

I adore this sweet stamp!! I couldn't wait to ink him up! I stamped him and the sentiment with Amalgam Black Ink and colored him up with Copic markers.

Copic markers used:
Deer: E21, E23, E25, R00, R20
Nose / Hearts: RV000, RV10, RV02
Hat: BG000, BG10, RV10, RV02
Outline: C0, C2

I die cut the background using a wonky stitched die from Gina Marie Designs. I adhered a piece of pretty plaid pattern paper from the Sugarplum Frost {paper pack} onto a white A2 top fold card base. I tore a the tree paper to fit in the corner and decided to go a little bigger with a piece of pink card stock.

Kinda looks like he's popping out a sugarplum hill to say hi! Haha... this was a pretty simple card once I had the design figured out.

Here's a quick look at this month's Kit of the Month membership!

This cutie is also available separately in the Snugglebuck stamps.

That's it for me today! I hope you've been INKspired to play with your membership stamps! Have a fab day!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 58 ~ Christmas Tree Deer ~ A Colorful Life Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a fun Christmas card featuring one of my all-time favorite stencils from our amazing Sponsor, A Colorful Life Designs! A Colorful Life Designs has generously offered up a $25 gift code as a prize for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 58 this month! So fantastic!

The fabulous Christmas Tree Deer Stencil is the very first stencil I purchased at A Colorful Life Designs. It's my most favorite and I just had to use it! I secured it to my Kraft card stock panel using iCraft Removable Pixie Tape. I also ran a strip of the tape diagonally across the panel and then I blended Mowed Lawn Distress Ink over the bottom portion of the stencil.

I removed the tape and cleaned the stencil. I like to clean the stencil with just a touch of hand soap and then I rinse it thoroughly. I replaced the tape and blended Sugar Cube White Pigment ink from Taylored Expressions over the top portion of the stencil. I cleaned the stencil once again and placed it back on the panel. I masked around the deer and blended Vintage Photo Distress Ink with just a touch of Walnut Stain Distress Ink on the top.

I spattered the panel with White Acrylic paint spatters that I spritzed with just a drop of water to thin it out. I die cut two pieces of ric rac using the retired Ric Rac die from My Favorite Things. I also die cut two snowflakes using the Small Snowflake die from Gina Marie Designs. I adhered those together and then adhered it over the spot where the two ric rac pieces meet. I heat embossed a quick sentiment using the Simple Little Wishes from Unity. And then I finished off the card with a few confetti pieces from the White Glossy Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 58 for the month of June. I flipped the sketch for my card today! If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog!

Membership Wednesday ~ May 2025 UU Nestled Hearts ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a card featuring the precious stamp from the May 2025 Uniquely Unity membership from Unity called Nestled Hearts.

I stamped this adorable stamp with Black Amalgam ink on Kraft card stock and colored it up with some Copic markers. I debated leaving the image just black and white but... I could help myself! I just love the technique of coloring with Copic markers on Kraft card stock so here we are. LOL. I added touches of white to the image using a white Prismacolor pencil.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Deer: E00, E21, E23, E25, R00, R20
Bunny: R00, R20, W00, W1, W4
Flowers: V000, V01, V15, Y11, Y15, YR15, R20, R14
Greenery: YG11, G94
Nest: E51, E53

I die cut the sweet duo with a square die from the Scallops & Squares {nesting dies}. I also die cut a mat from black card stock using the next largest die. I stamped the sentiment and trimmed it.

I've been trying to play with my neglected embossing folders. I used a woodgrain embossing folder for this card. I trimmed up the background to 4-1/8 x 5-3/8" and adhered it to a Kraft A2 top fold card base. I adhered the sweet deer and bunny to the card. Straight on just wasn't pleasing to the eye so I offset the image just a bit. I popped up the sentiment using foam tape.

Here's a quick look at this month's Uniquely Unity membership! Love this adorable stamp!

Well, that's it for me today! I hope you've been inspired to play with your membership stamps!

Spring into Christmas 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Little Love Deer ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 7 of the Spring into Christmas 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party! I colored up this sweet deer while on Spring Break with the fam. I just had to make it into a card for the linky party!

I stamped the adorable deer from the Little Love Deer from our fab Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. using Black Amalgam ink from Sponsor Gina K Designs. I colored it up with a handful of Copic markers and fussy cut the image leaving a white border. Once the ink was dry, I added touches of white gel pen to the dots on the deer.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Deer: E000, E21, E23
Scarf: R20, R14, R27

I had a scrap embossed panel in my stash of scraps and I thought it would be fun to use for my background on this card. I love the texture it adds even though I covered most of it up. The panel was embossed with the retired Peaceful Poinsettia embossing folder from Sponsor Taylored Expressions.

My card was inspired by past {BYSHC} Sketch 41. I altered the measurements just a bit. For the top left piece I cut my paper to 3-1/4 x 1-3/8". The bottom left piece measures 3-1/4 x 2-1/4". And the right side piece measures 1-3/4 x 3-7/8". The pattern paper is called Christmas and it's from Carta Bella.

I die cut two circles from white card stock for the deer layers using dies from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from Unity. I adhered all of my layers using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web and then adhered the panel to a white A2 top fold card base that I turned on the side for a landscape card. I finished off the card with a few confetti pieces from the Hologram Red Card Bling from Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs.

I am having so much fun playing along with the Spring into Christmas 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party! I hope that you'll stop by the Linky Party and check out the cards that have been linked up. Lots of fabulous inspiration!! Don't forget the Linky Party ends at 11:59pm PST on Friday May 9th. Get those entries in! Have an ink-tastic day!

You Are My Sunshine ~ Preview Day 2 ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 2 of previews at The Greeting Farm for the March release. Oh. My. Cuteness... all the critters in the You Are My Sunshine stamp set are just too cute for words!!

I created a sweet little scene on a slimline card with some fun layers. I used the Slim Line Cloud Coverage Stencil from Picket Fence along with the Hills & Grass Stencil from Newton's Nook Designs. And I used Tumbled Glass & Mowed Lawn Distress Inks to blend over those stencils.

I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them up with Copic Markers. I used a bunch of markers so the list is a bit long this time:
Bird: B000, B00, Y11, Y15, YR15
Deer: R00, R20, E21, E51, E23, E25
Daisy Garland: C00, C2, Y11, Y15
Bunny: C00, C2, R00, R20
Bear: R00, R20, E51, E33, E35, E37, N2, N4, N6
Bear's Flower Crown: YG11, YG03, YG63, R11, R22, V000, V12, V15, Y11, Y15
Fox: E51, E95, E97, E09, N2, N6
Flowers: Y11, Y15, YR15, V000, V12, R00, R11, B000, B00

I die cut the stenciled layers using dies from the Scalloped Card Panels Die from Trinity Stamps. I fussy cut all the critters and flowers and then colored the edges of my fussy cutting with a black marker.

I adhered the layers to a slimline card measuring 7 x 8-1/2"; scored at 3-1/2". And then I adhered all the critters and flowers to the card. To finish it off, I stamped the sentiment directly onto the card. This was so fun to make! I enjoyed coloring all the critters and flowers for the scene. The release goes live in the store on the 15th at 12am EST.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Unity Advent Calendar 2024 Day 13 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 13 of the 2024 Advent Calendar from Unity!! I have another cute holiday card to share today.

Today's stamp is an adorable deer. So cute! I stamped it with Black Amalgam ink and colored it up with Copic markers: R00, R20, E50, E21, E23, C00, C1.

You can check out my video revealing the Advent Calendar Day 13 stamp and my process in making this card here... Unity Advent Calendar 2024 Day 13 | Unity Stamp Co.

Inspiration for my card came from the {BYSHC} Sketch 17! Another great sketch with fun layers!

I die cut the deer using a die from the Scallops & Circles{nesting dies}. Popped it up on the card using foam tape.

I paired up the deer with the North Pole Collection {paper pack}. I finished up the card with a sweet sentiment from the Simple Little Wishes {itty bitty}. So perfect with this adorable deer!

I'll be back tomorrow for Day 14 of the 2024 Advent Calendar from Unity!
Have an ink-tastic day!

Unity Advent Calendar 2024 Day 4 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 4 of the 2024 Advent Calendar from Unity!! I hope you're having fun with your Advent Calendar. I'm excited to share my card for Day 4! This one took a detour... you can check it out on the video below.

Today's stamp is the sweetest deer! So lovely. I stamped the deer with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink on Confetti White card stock from Stampin' Up. The A2 card base is also Confetti White card stock.

You can check out my video revealing the Advent Calendar Day 4 stamp and my process in making this card here... Unity Advent Calendar 2024 Day 4 | Unity Stamp Co.

Inspiration for my card came from the {BYSHC} Sketch 12! A fun sketch for pretty layers... I altered the sketch a tad by adding the red layer, omitting the mat for the berry paper and then I moved the sentiment down on the card. Maybe more than a tad then. Ha!

I die cut the deer using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. And I die cut a mat from Cherry Cobbler card stock from Stampin' Up using a slightly larger die from the same set.

I paired up the deer with the Farmhouse Christmas {paper pack}. What do you think? Should I have stuck with just the white layers or does the red add a little something to the card?

I'll be back tomorrow for Day 5 of the 2024 Advent Calendar from Unity!
Have a fabulous day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Holiday Two-fer Cards ~ Little Love Deer and Penguin Hugs ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with two adorable cards featuring goodies from Unity!!! I had a fun idea for a two cards... a two-fer! What's that? Well, it's when you use a sketch that let's you use the papers for two cards. So fun and easy peasy!

So I cut two full 6x6 sheets of pattern paper and all I had left was two thin scraps. I cut the Minty Christmas {paper pack} and Holiday Script {paper pack} papers at 4-1/8 x 5-3/8" for card fronts. I set aside the 5/8 x 6" scraps. The 1-7/8 x 5-3/8" pieces I adhered to the bottom of the card fronts. And then I adhered the card fronts to two Kraft A2 card bases.

I did distress the edges of the Minty Christmas {paper pack} just a little bit to lighten the white in the background. I stamped the sweet deer from Little Love Deer and colored it up with Copic markers. I then die cut the deer using a die from Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}

I mat the deer circle with a Kraft circle. I also distressed the edges of the sentiment and mat it with Kraft card stock. I added dots of white gel pen to the dots on the deer.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used for the deer:
Deer: E51, E21, E23
Scarf: R00, R20, R14, R27
Ground: C00, C1, C3

I also stamped the adorable Penguin Hugs. Isn't this just the cutest penguin?! Love, love, love! I colored it with Copic markers, too. And distressed the edges just like the other card.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used for the penguin:
Penguin: C00, C1, C3
Scarf: R20, R14, R27, YG11, G24, G46
Mug: R00, R20, R14, R27
Ground: C00, C1

I added foam tape to the back of the deer, penguin and both sentiments and popped them all up on the cards. Voila! Two holiday cards done!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky hugs,
Crystal
