{BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2025 Linky Party ~ Sketched Florals Poinsettia ~ Pajama Crafter Stamps

 Hello there crafty friend!
I have one last card {I promise!! It's the last one!} for the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2025 Linky Party!! I just HAD to ink up the gorgeous Sketched Florals - Poinsettia from our BRAND NEW and wonderful Sponsor Pajama Crafter Stamps.

My first thought was to color up the Sketched Florals - Poinsettia in pink, but I saw my yellow copics and thought... hmmm... so here we have a yellow and pink poinsettia. Whatcha think? I'm thinking it needs more pink, maybe. But I love it! I stamped this beautiful poinsettia with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. My go-to for clear photopolymer stamps.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Poinsettia: Y11, Y15, Y28, RV10, RV02
Leaves: YG11, G12, G24
Boughs: YG11, G12, G24, G46

When I was playing the A Little Something card kit from Sponsor Gina K. Designs, I embossed this background but didn't end up using it for the penguins. So I thought it would be a lovely background for the poinsettia. I trimmed it to 4 x 5-1/4" and adhered it to a white A2 top fold card base.

I adhered the background and the sentiment using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web. I added a bunch of iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white) to the back of the poinsettia and popped it up on the card. And then I finished it off with a little confetti from Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs that I got in one of my orders as a thank you so I'm not actually sure which card bling it is.

If you haven't already, stop by the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2025 Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! Today is the last day to enter!! The inlinkz will close at 11:59pm. Have an INKcredible day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

{BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2025 Linky Party ~ Christmas Time Cats ~ Newton's Nook Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back again today to share a fun holiday card I created with some new adorable goodies that just released from our wonderful Sponsor Newton's Nook Designs!! Eeep! I adore the holiday release!

It was so hard to pick kitties from the Christmas Time Cats Stamp Set to ink up. But I finally chose these two cuties and colored them up with my Copic markers. I then die cut them using the coordinating Christmas Time Cats Die Set. Aren't they just the sweetest?!

Here's a list of the Copic markers I used:
White Kitty: C0, C1, R000, R20
Gray Kitty: C0, C1, C2, C3, R000, R20
Tree: RV10, RV02, Y11, Y15, Y28
Presents: YG11, G12, G24, R20, R14
Hat: C0, C1, R20, R14

I hope you'll stop by the {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2025 Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared and maybe you can even play along! Today is the last day to enter the linky party. I've been inspired by so many of the cards! That's why I've been making so many extras! LOL!

The fun background was created using the beautiful new Christmas Party 6x6 Paper Pad and the awesome Card Layout 5 Die. Such a fun die to play with! I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of white card stock and adhered it across the card to ground the kitties using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web.

And then I finished off the card with a little confetti called Hologram Red Card Bling from Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs. I was in such a rush to get the photos done you can see a bit of glue under the confetti... LOL!! I sure hope you have a fabulous day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 59 ~ Jolly Christmas Tree ~ Lawn Fawn

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with one more card I made for the Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party and one last card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 59 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a sweet rainbow holiday card featuring a fun die, stamp and papers from our fab Sponsor Lawn Fawn.

I had a fun idea for a rainbow theme for this one so naturally I grabbed the retired Really Rainbow Christmas 6x6 paper pack from Lawn Fawn. I wish they would bring these papers back... they are just too cute! I thought the trees would look cute behind the awesome Jolly Christmas Tree die. I die cut the tree from green papers from the rainbow pack and then the rest of the tree was die cut from white card stock. I colored the star, trunk, and the baubles with Copic markers.

I stamped the adorable unicorn from the Winter Unicorn stamp set and I fussy cut it but if you're not one for fussy cutting there is a Winter Unicorn lawn cuts available for die cutting. I actually die cut mine, but the die slipped in my Big Shot so it was super wonky. So I just fussy cut it. Always remember to secure your dies with washi tape {or something similar}. I usually do, but for some reason I didn't for this cutie. Oh well... it all worked out.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Unicorn: C0, C1, C5, R00, R20, BV00, BV02, B000, B00, R20, R14, R27, Y11, Y15
Tree Topper / Yellow Baubles: Y11, Y15
Red Baubles: R20, R14, R27
Orange Baubles: YR20, YR15
Green Baubles: YG11, YG03
Blue Baubles: B000, B00, B02
Purple Baubles: BV00, BV02
Tree Trunk: E21, E25, E57

I chose a small sentiment since the paper has sentiments all over it. The sentiment is from the Say What? Holiday Critters stamp set. I just stamped it with black ink, trimmed it, and adhered it to the card. I adhered the unicorn to the tree and popped them up with iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white) from our lovely Linky Party Sponsor Therm O Web.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 58 ~ Layered Holly with Fancy Merry Christmas ~ A Colorful Life Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with one last card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 58 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a vintage style holiday card featuring a couple of great stencils from our wonderful Sponsor, A Colorful Life Designs.

I started by laying down a postage stencil from the Marvelous Masks Postage Stamp Stencil A over a card front of Kraft card stock from Papertrey Ink. I then laid the holly leaf stencil overtop of the postage stencil. I used a piece of iCraft Removable Pixie Tape to diagonally mask the other half of the card front and then blended Mowed Lawn Distress Ink over the holly stencil. I replaced the holly for the berry stencil. Also replacing the pixie tape mask and blended Candied Apple Distress Ink. The holly and berries stencils are from the Layered Holly Stencil

I removed the stencil and laid the Fancy Merry Christmas Stencil. I again used the pixie tape to mask the card this time covering the holly and berries. I blended Vintage Photo over the whole stencil being more heavy in the center and a lighter touch around the edges. I then blended Walnut Stain Distress Ink over the Merry Christmas sentiment.

I trimmed the stenciled panel to 4 x 5-1/4" and adhered it to an A2 card base of Dark Chocolate card stock from Papertrey Ink. I finished off the card with a few confetti pieces from the Hologram Red Card Bling.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 58 for the month of June. There's just a few days left to enter the challenge! {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 58 ~ Snowflake Net with Cozy Knit ~ A Colorful Life Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a little inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 58 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a really cool holiday card featuring an awesome stencil from our fabulous Sponsor, A Colorful Life Designs.

I thought it would be fun to combine a couple of stencils for my second card so I grabbed the Snowflake Net Stencil and the Cozy Knit Stencil. I love the use blues and purples for snowflake cards. Love those cool colors!

I laid the Snowflake Net Stencil on my white card front measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2". I used a strip of iCraft Removable Pixie Tape to mask the left bottom area of the card front and I blended some Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet Distress Inks over the stencil until I was happy with the blends. I replaced the stencil with the Cozy Knit Stencil. I used that same strip of pixie tape and blended the other side of the card front.

I die cut the panel using the largest die from the Deckle & Stitches Nesting Die Set from Unity. I adhered the panel to a white A2 top fold card base. I sentiment is from Arctic Joyride from Unity. I die cut the sentiment using a die from the Scallops & Banners {nesting dies}, also from Unity. I finished off the card with a bunch of confetti from the White Glossy Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 58 for the month of June. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! The design team, as always, rocked this sketch!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 58 ~ Christmas Tree Deer ~ A Colorful Life Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a fun Christmas card featuring one of my all-time favorite stencils from our amazing Sponsor, A Colorful Life Designs! A Colorful Life Designs has generously offered up a $25 gift code as a prize for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 58 this month! So fantastic!

The fabulous Christmas Tree Deer Stencil is the very first stencil I purchased at A Colorful Life Designs. It's my most favorite and I just had to use it! I secured it to my Kraft card stock panel using iCraft Removable Pixie Tape. I also ran a strip of the tape diagonally across the panel and then I blended Mowed Lawn Distress Ink over the bottom portion of the stencil.

I removed the tape and cleaned the stencil. I like to clean the stencil with just a touch of hand soap and then I rinse it thoroughly. I replaced the tape and blended Sugar Cube White Pigment ink from Taylored Expressions over the top portion of the stencil. I cleaned the stencil once again and placed it back on the panel. I masked around the deer and blended Vintage Photo Distress Ink with just a touch of Walnut Stain Distress Ink on the top.

I spattered the panel with White Acrylic paint spatters that I spritzed with just a drop of water to thin it out. I die cut two pieces of ric rac using the retired Ric Rac die from My Favorite Things. I also die cut two snowflakes using the Small Snowflake die from Gina Marie Designs. I adhered those together and then adhered it over the spot where the two ric rac pieces meet. I heat embossed a quick sentiment using the Simple Little Wishes from Unity. And then I finished off the card with a few confetti pieces from the White Glossy Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 58 for the month of June. I flipped the sketch for my card today! If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog!

Fun With Stencils ~ A Colorful Life Designs ~ Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello there crafty friend! Crystal here from Tawny Owl Paperie and I'm sharing my last post as a guest designer for the Coffee Loving Papercrafters. I've had a lot of fun sharing with you all! I hope you've enjoyed the coffee inspiration I've shared.

Today I'm sharing a fun stenciled card featuring three fabulous stencils from A Colorful Life Designs. I used the fab Fractured Beams Stencil for my background. I blended Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Abandoned Coral Distress Inks over the sun rays once and then again after shifting the stencil.

I blended over the cute cup from the Love Language Stencil on a separate piece of white card stock using Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink. I fussy cut the cup and adhered it to the panel. I blended Abandoned Coral and Candied Apple Distress Inks over the cute little heart on a scrap of white card stock. I fussy cut that leaving a white border and adhered it to the cup.

I then ink blended Black Soot Distress Ink over a fun sentiment from the Snarky Coffee Stencil. I trimmed the panel and realized that I had messed up the bottom left corner at some point so I just chopped it off. I adhered the panel to a black A2 card base and added six confetti pieces from the Metallic Orange Card Bling pack, also from A Colorful Life Designs.

The ideas starting revving once I got started so I made a couple more cards. I blended lightly with Vintage Photo Distress Ink over the Mmmm portion of the Mmm Coffee Stencil. And then I blended with Ground Espresso Distress Ink over the 'Coffee'.

I added the little heart from the Coffee Pot Stencil using Candied Apple Distress Ink. A fun CAS card on Kraft card stock.

I had an idea for the Coffee Pot Stencil so I ran with it. I blended the coffee pot with Black Soot Distress Ink. And without adding ink to my blending brush, I blended the steam lightly with the same brush. I blended Vintage Photo Distress Ink for the coffee. I left the coffee pot stencil in place and laid the Mmm Coffee Stencil over top and blended Ground Espresso Distress Ink over the Mmmm. I removed the coffee pot stencil and masked the Mmm coffee stencil and then blended the 'Coffee'. And I just had to blend another heart with Candied Apple Distress Ink.

I trimmed up the panel and adhered it to a black A2 top fold card base. These were such fun cards to make! I hope you've enjoyed the cards I've shared today and throughout the month. Have a wonderful weekend crafty friends!

See ya next time.

Sending a Hoppy Hello ~ Fluff & Stuff ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Unity's having a fun release including some cute Easter stamps. I just had to ink up the adorable bunny butt from the Fluff & Stuff stamps.

I stamped the cute bunny butt and sentiment on a scrap of white card stock. I colored it up with my Copic markers and fussy cut it.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Bunny: W00, W1, R00, R20
Bunny Tail: C00, C2
Bunny Hole: Y11, Y15

I ink smooshed a simple background on a white panel that I had die cut previously using the largest scallop die from the BIG Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}. I ink smooshed with Tumbled Glass and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Inks leaving a lot of white still on the panel. I tied a pretty bow with white baker's twine. And adhered my panel to a white A2 top fold card base.

I finished off the card with a few confetti pieces from the White Glossy Card Bling pack from A Colorful Life Designs. I love that cute little bunny butt! Haha!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 28 ~ Holiday Reboot Kit ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge! Today I'm sharing my first card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 28 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. Another great sketch for scraps! I inked up an adorable stamp from the recently released Holiday Reboot Kit from The Greeting Farm.

Isn't she just darling?! I love her adorable hat! I stamped her with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her up with a bunch of Copic Markers.

Here's a list of the Copic Markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04, R00, R20
Hair: E70, E71, E74
Hat: C00, C2, C3, C4
Sweater: R20, R14, R27, C00, C2, C3, C4
Jeans: B91, B93, B95
Boots: N2, N4, N6
Present: YG11, G24, G46
Bow: Y11, Y15, Y28

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 28. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I feel my cards are a good example of that, as I'm always making adjustments. I literally used paper scraps for my background on this card.

The fun sentiment is also from the Holiday Reboot Kit. I trimmed it up and added foam tape to the back of the sentiment and the fussy cut girl. To clean up the fussy cutting, I colored the edges with a black marker.

To finish off the card I added a few confetti pieces from the White Glossy Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs. I think this will be a fun sketch! I hope you can find time to play along. I can't wait to see what you create. Have an ink-tastic week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 27 ~ Merry Whatever ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a fun, new sketch challenge! Today I'm sharing my first card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 27 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. Another great sketch for scraps! I inked up the hilarious Merry Whatever kitty from Unity!

I paired up the funny kitty with the beautiful Watercolor Winter {paper pack}, also from Unity. I had these purr-fect paper scraps in my paper pack. LOL!

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 27. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I'm not even sure what the measurements of my paper scraps are... I do know that they were all 4" wide.

I stamped the fun kitty with Black Amalgam ink from Gina K. Designs and colored him up with my Copic markers. There's so much detail to this kitty that coloring is a breeze. Not to mention there's no need to color the antlers or really the hat if you don't want to. But I decided to color the hat to coordinate a bit with the colors in the papers.

Here's a super quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Kitty: N0, N2, N4, R00, R20
Eyes: YG11, YG25
Hat: R20, R14, R27

I fussy cut and adhered the kitty directly to the card. I heat embossed the sentiment on Pure Poppy card stock from Papertrey Ink. Die cut it with a die from the Scalloped & Stitched Sentiment Nesting dies. I added a strip of foam tape to the back and popped it up on the card. I finished off the card with a few bits of red confetti from the Hologram Red Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs. This was such a super quick and fun card to make!

I hope you all have fun with this sketch! I can't wait to see what you create with it.
Have an inktastic week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 50 ~ Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Simple Christmas Trees ~ A Colorful Life Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with more inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 50 over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a fun Christmas card featuring two fabulous stencils from our amazing sponsor A Colorful Life Designs! A Colorful Life Designs has generously offered up a $25 gift card as a prize for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 50 this month! So fabulous!!

I started with my background for this card. I scored a 4-1/4 x 11" piece of Kraft card stock from Papertrey Ink at 5-1/2" for an A2 card base. I secured my card to my glass table with purple tape and then I laid the Arctic Snow Stencil from our amazing Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs over the top and lightly blended using my brown distress ink blending brush. I didn't even bother with adding any more ink. The snowflakes fade out towards the mug. I love the effect!

I replaced the stencil with the Simple Christmas Trees Stencil, also from A Colorful Life Designs, and blended Lumberjack Plaid Distress Ink over top. I love this fun tree design! I removed the stencil and then distressed the edges of the card using Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I love the vintage vibe it gives the card!

I stamped the sentiment from A Wintry Hello from our lovely Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. using the Lumberjack Plaid Distress Ink. I trimmed the sentiment and adhered it to the card using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from our fab Sponsor Therm O Web. The fun ephemera piece is from our wonderful Sponsor Not 2 Shabby and it's called A Shabby Christmas. I distressed the edges with my brown blending brush just to tame the brightness of the white. I finished off the card with a few red confetti pieces from the Crystal Iris Cranberry Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 50 for the month of October. Loving this sketch! There's just under a week left to play along with us. Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Unity October 2024 KOM Sweet Bliss of Christmas ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's always so surprising to me how fast the last few days of the Linky Party just zip on by! We are nearing the end of the Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party! I'm super happy to be adding so many cards to my stash! I hope you've been inspired to play along with us. My card today features a couple of stamps from the October 2024 Kit of the Month called Sweet Bliss of Christmas from our amazing Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. It's also Membership Wednesday... a fun day to share inspiration for the awesome memberships over at Unity! I just had to ink up the beautiful tree stamp from this month's fab KOM! Good news!! The KOM membership is now available for Canadian shoppers!! Woohoo!!

I had a fun idea for a simple shaped card. Actually it came to mind while I was sleeping and woke me up! That was so crazy! I was trying to figure out a card design when I was falling asleep so it only makes sense that the idea would wake me up! LOL

I die cut my base first using the largest die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I had a 8-1/2 x 4-1/4" piece of Pure Poppy card stock from Papertrey Ink that I scored at 4-1/4" for a square base. I placed the die over the closed/folded card base and secured it with washi tape so that the die didn't cut through the top of the fold. I die cut another red circle for my top layer. And then I die cut a piece of Stampers Select White card stock using the next smallest circle die from the same set.

I stamped the wonderful tree using Crushed Olive Distress Ink. I used the corner of the Walnut Stain Distress Ink pad to ink up the trunk of the tree. I wiped off the excess on the branches and then stamped it. I think it adds a subtle touch of brown for the trunk. I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment using Candied Apple Distress Ink. And then I stamped the Full of Merry sentiment from the September 2024 KOM called Wander and Wonder using the same red ink. I fussy cut both of the sentiments. I adhered all of my circle layers using the iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web. I added foam tape from Therm O Web called iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white) to both of the sentiments and popped them up on the card.

I finished off the card with a bunch of red confetti from the Hologram Red Card Bling from Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs. Pretty much all of the confetti is adhered over the ornaments on the tree stamp. I think I may have added two extras just to balance out the tree a bit. It was so fun making a circle shaped card!

I hope you'll stop by the Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful holiday inspiration being shared! Seeing all the inspiration makes me want to just make more cards! I sure hope you'll stop by and check it out! Have a fabulINK day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky Hugs,
Crystal
