Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a beautiful Mother's Day card using a new release from Unity Stamp Co. called Timeless Moments. Such a gorgeous stamp! It's been awhile since I've done some copic coloring on Kraft card stock and I thought this beautiful stamp would just look amazing on kraft... and I think I was totally right!!
I stamped the flowers and sentiment with Gina K. Design Amalgam black ink on Kraft card stock and then I stamped the flowers again on white card stock. I die cut the panel with the flowers and sentiment with a stitched rectangle die from the Blueprints 20 dies from My Favorite Things. I also die cut another piece of Kraft card stock with the Loopy Frame die from Gina Marie Design.
I colored up the pretty flowers with the following Copic markers ~ Y15, Y17, Y38, YR15, YR20, YR68, R000, R14, R27, E33, E37 and then outlined the flowers with W1.
I colored just the outer edges of the two center flowers on the kraft card stock with R14. I colored those two centers flowers on the white card stock that I had set aside with R000, R14, and R27... leaving some white in these flowers with the red really makes them pop on the card. My color inspiration came from the fantastic color palette over at the Color Throwdown challenge going on this week! I love a great challenge!
I adhered the two die cut kraft layers together and then adhered them to a black card front measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2". I adhered the entire panel to a white A2 top fold card base. I then popped up those two center flowers with foam squares. To finish off the card I added tiny dots of Nuvo Gloss Simply White drops.
I have a quick video sharing the assembly of this pretty card.
