Snapshot Anya ~ Preview Day 1 ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm so excited! It's the first day of previews at The Greeting Farm! Yay!

I dived into my paper stash to find the perfect papers for the beautiful Snapshot Anya! I found the Travel Notes 6x8 Paper Pad from Simple Stories and thought it was perfect to pair up with Anya.

I stamped sweet Anya with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored her up with Copic Markers. I fussy cut her and colored the edge of the fussy cutting with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker. I adhered her to a paper strip of black card stock and then I popped her and the paper strip up on the card with foam tape. Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04, R00, R20
Hair: E30, E31, E34
Hair Clip: YG11, YG03, YG63, B000, B00, B91

Camera: YR21, YR15, YR16, Y11, Y15, C00, C2, N0, N2, N4, R20, R14, B000, B00, YG11, YG03

I stamped the cute polaroid photos and 'picture perfect' sentiment also using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I stamped the cute and happy sentiments, along with the little heart, using Tumbled Glass and Barn Door Distress Inks. I fussy cut them all and adhered them together and then I popped them up on the card with foam tape.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used for the polaroid photos:

Scrapping for Less ~ Christmas Inspiration and a Farewell

 Hello there crafty friend!

Today is my final blog post for Scrapping for Less. I have a quick card to share that I created using the October 2020 FOTM and then I'd like to go down memory lane a little bit with you. This is kind of a long post, but it's mostly pictures... with a little chatter. I hope you'll stick around until the end.

I just love the Merry Christmas sentiment in the Christmas Elements stencil that was included in the Banana Split subscription of the October 2020 FOTM card kit. I actually used it and had planned on sharing an extra card for the hop and reveal for the October kit but I didn't have enough time. So I set it aside for another day. I have a quick video sharing my process for this card.
You can check that out... here.

I really love how this turned out! I hope you like it too!

Now for some reminiscing...

Way back in August of 2017 Teresa and Kim asked me to guest design for Scrapping for Less. This is my second card as a guest designer. Why didn't I share my first card? Well... I like this one more. lol
After a short guest design gig, Teresa and Kim asked me to join the design team and I was so elated!!
I'm very grateful for the opportunity that Teresa and Kim gave me... it was literally the beginning of a crazy crafty journey that has led me to design for other companies and start my YouTube channel AND to illustrate some of my very own physical and digital stamps.
So I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Teresa and Kim!!

Now I'm going to share some of my favorite cards over the 3-1/2 years that I've designed for SFL and throw in some of my favorite cards created with my own stamps that I designed for SFL too.

One of my absolute favorite cards... a slimline before the latest slimline trend! I colored and paper pieced this sweet scene way back in November 2018. You can check out the original post here... Have a Magical Christmas.

Another favorite... the black base and pop of Fall colors really make this card so beautiful. You can check out the original post here... Fall Breeze card.

Now this card has a special place in my heart as the first ever stamp that I designed for Scrapping for Less. I really enjoyed the process going back and forth with Teresa and Kim designing this beautiful stamp. You can check out the original post here... Nordic Winter card.

I was so honored when Teresa asked me to design the first ever stamp sets to be released outside of the card kits. I had so much fun designing the adorable Winter Fairies and the coordinating Fairy House. So much fun to illustrate and then to see them as physical stamps... awesome! There's still a few sets available in the shop if you'd like to add these to your collection {click the links above}!!

What little girl doesn't dream of being Cinderella?! I had a blast drawing these glass slippers. You can check out the original post here... It's All About the Girls. And there's still some of these sweet Glass Slippers in the shop!

Often times, Teresa would just give me a general idea for the stamp and let me run with it. I sure love the way this one turned out... I drew it with my daughter in mind. You can check out the original post here... Layered Stencils for CAS Cards. This cutie is still available in the shop... Live Your Best Life.

Another fun one that turned out really cute. Here's the original post... City Streets and Country Roads. There's only a couple of these left in the shop... Country Roads.

I had to giggle a little when Teresa shared her idea for this stamp. A chicken blowing bubble gum...?! Haha!! Definitely a fun request and one that I enjoyed drawing. Here's the original post for this one... Bubble Galore. You can add this hilarious stamp to your collection here... Blowing Bubbles.

And the last stamp that I designed for Scrapping for Less... I adore snowmen so this one I will cherish forever! Here's the original post for this one... Christmas is Covered.

Well... that was a little long, but I hope you enjoyed reminiscing with me. I do have one last card to share and this one is my absolute favorite card of all time while creating for Scrapping for Less...

I love love love this card! The design is so pretty. I'm so happy with the coloring on the die cut pieces. And that sentiment speaks to my soul! You can check out the original post here... City Streets and Country Roads Sneak Peek. This die is actually still in the shop!! Get it here... Flowery Camera die!!

Okay. Well, I've delayed the end here long enough.

Thank you SO MUCH for following my crafty journey while with Scrapping for Less!
See ya next time.

Unity Stamp Company ~ Uniquely Unity ~ In A Snap!

Hi there crafty friends!
I'm so excited to share my card today using the gorgeous new Uniquely Unity stamp called In A Snap from Unity Stamp Company!! I was inspired to go all black and white for this card because of the sentiment. 'Thanks for the memories'... just got me thinking about my childhood and the black and white photos that I used to look through in our family photo albums. So, I thought this stamp would be fun to color in black and white!

I was a little concerned because I'd never done this technique before using Copic markers... but I think it turned out really nice! I used only five Copic markers for this card ~ N0, N1, N2, N5, and the Colorless Blender.

Oh... and as a note or a tip... I have been changing out the broad tips for fine tips on all of my sketch markers and the fine tips came in very handy for the tight spots in coloring this image.

Once I had my image colored, I die cut it with the beautiful Pleated Lace Rectangle die from Gina Marie Designs. I adhered gorgeous Harper's Boutique papers by The Paper Studio to my white card base and then popped up my panel using foam tape. To finish this card off I added a few drops of the Nuvo gloss ebony black crystal drops. I love how this turned out!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!
See ya next time.

Unity Stamp Company ~ Pretty Girl Smile

Hey crafty peeps!
Have you checked out the Unity Stamp Company birthday celebration sale yet?!
Sooo many fabulous stamps... including this new release!!

You can get this beautiful stamp here ---> Pretty Girl Smile

I went with a simple design for this card... I wanted to showcase the beautiful girl so I thought a frame die would be perfect!! I have a slight obsession with camera papers so it was easy enough to find a pretty paper to use... American Crafts Shimelle Collection. I'm also on a bit of a pink kick lately... not my usual color, but I'm loving how her outfit turned out! I added some film paper that I stapled to the frame making the bends as I went before adhering the frame to the white card base. My last little touch was that cute little wooden camera element. Love it!

I used the following Copic markers for this card ~ E0000, E000, E51, YR23,
YR27, R59, C00, C3, C7, RV10, RV11, RV21

Thanks so much for checking out my blog post!
See ya next time.

Possibilities Await ~ Capture Your Story!

Hello! I'm sharing a CAS card I made for the CASology Challenge #307 - Cue Card: Zoom.
When I was younger I used to take pictures ALL the time! Photography was a huge part of my life. So when I saw the cue was Zoom... I just had to use this image from Unity Stamp Company's Moments Between Moments Kit of the Month.
I love this gal with the camera!

I wanted to continue working with my ZIG Clean Color Real Brush pens so I stamped the image with VersaMark Watermark ink and heat embossed a fine black embossing powder and colored the image in. I also stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from the Possibilities Await set on a scrap of the same watercolor paper.

I die cut the image with a scalloped rectangle die and added a couple bits of washi before adhering it to the card base. I popped up the sentiment and then adhered the little wooden camera that I watercolored with the ZIGs as well. That's it for this card!

Be sure to check out the challenge... since it's summer time this challenge is going for 2 whole weeks, so there's still time to play along. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

See ya next time.
