Release Day Blog Hop ~ Hot Cocoa Kisses ~ The Greeting Farm

The October 2025 New Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new stamp sets. Our first stamp set called COZY WINTER will have you embracing the magic of the holiday season with it's peaceful snowbank scene, snowman, and trio of furry friends. Next, we have KNITTING ANYA, featuring our sweet girl sitting in her favorite chair knitting away alongside her adorable dog with his slouchy sweater and whimsical mouse. Lastly, we introduced HOT COCOA KISSES with four cheerful snowmen dressed in cozy scarves and hats waiting for a steamy cup of hot cocoa from their favorite gingerbread man. *Please note that Hot Cocoa Kisses has been delayed. We'll let you know when it's available in the shop. So sorry for the inconvenience.

I paired up one of the adorable snowmen with some fun snowman papers from my stash. They're all in line to get some yummy hot cocoa.

I stamped all the images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them up with Copic markers and then I fussy cut them all on the line and colored the edges with a black marker to make the fussy cutting nice and neat.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Snowman: BG000, BG10, R20, R14, R29
Snowman Hat: C0, C1, R20, R14, R29
Snowman Scarf: R20, R14, R29
Gingerbread Man: E21, E23, E25, RV02
Gingerbread Man Hat: C0, C1, BG000, BG10, BG23
Hot Cocoa Stand: RV10, RV02, BG000, BG10, E21, E23
Cup: RV10, RV02, E23, E25

I die cut a circle from white card stock and then tore two scraps of white card stock for my snow layers. I die cut those two scraps using the same circle die. Added a bit of glittery fun to the torn ends using glue and some fine glitter from my stash. It's been EONS since I've used glitter on anything and it was actually fun. LOL! Not too terribly messy either. The sentiment is also die cut with a slightly smaller circle die. I added a touch of cool gray marker to ground the images and then popped them up with foam tape. And then I finished off the card with some clay snowflakes embellies from my stash.

My card was inspired by one of the older {BYSHC} Sketches. I omitted all of the mats and just kept my layers simple. Do you like to use sketches when you create? I do. It makes the designing so much easier.

Spring into Christmas {BYSHC} Hop ~ Holiday Helpers ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!

I can't believe that we are nearing the end of the Spring into Christmas 2021 {BYSHC} Hop!! Time has seriously flown by... and I've really enjoyed all of the creations being shared! I hope that if you haven't been able to play along that you drop by the hop and check out all the wonderful cards being shared and maybe even give some love on the creations. I know I enjoy it thoroughly when I get a sweet comment on my cards. Anywho, today I am featuring an adorable stamp from Unity Stamp Co. that's called Holiday Helpers. I chose the little boy elf stamp for my card today.

Isn't he just the cutest?! I pulled my palette of colors from the papers that I used... the Twas the Night Before Christmas Vol. 2 paper pad by Echo Park Paper. Both layers of pattern paper are from that paper pad. The toy paper layer is die cut with a stitched rectangle die and then I adhered it to the polka dot paper. I then adhered the layers to a white A2 top fold card base.

I used the following Copic markers to color this cutie:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11, R00, R20
Hair ~ E55, E57, E59
Shirt ~ W00, W2, R14, R27, R59, R89
Hat ~ R27, R59, R89, Y15, Y28
Jumper ~ G24, G29, G85, G94
Tights ~ R14, R27, R59, G85, G94
Shoes ~ R14, R27, R59, R89
Hammer / Nails ~ N1, N3, N5, E55, E57, E59
Truck ~ N1, N3, N5, Y15, G29, G85, G94
Ground ~ E51, E55

I die cut the cute elf and the sentiment with standard circle dies and then with a pencil ticked off little marks to trim off the one side of the circles. If you're a member of the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group, you may recognize this card design... it was for our 8th sketch challenge.

The challenge is over but it sure has been fun using some of the sketches that we've been playing with.

Tomorrow is the last day to play along with the Spring into Christmas 2021 {BYSHC} Hop!! I hope you can find some time today to create and join us in building our stash of holiday cards!! {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge #8 ~ Happy Owlidays ~ Sunny Studio Stamps

 Hello there crafty friend!

I'm so excited... not only am I back to share another Christmas card for my stash using the March Sketch from the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers group, it's also time for the Spring | Summer Coffee Lovers Hop of 2021!!! I always love participating in these hops and today I actually have two cards to share for the first day of the hop! Let's get to it!

I used the adorable Happy Owlidays stamp set from Sunny Studio Stamps and paired it up with the super cute Winter Market papers from Carta Bella. That sweet little owl looked like he needed a little cuppa... isn't he just the cutest?!

I used the patterned papers for my layers... I even die cut the circles from the bottom card front layer. My favorite trick when using those coordinating papers in a paper pack.

I used the following Copic markers to color up this cutie...

Owl ~ W00, W2, YR15, YR68, C00, C2
Hat ~ C00, C2, R000, R11, R14, R27
Scarf ~ B00, B02, G12, G43, C00, C2
Wreath ~ G12, G43, G46
Bow / Berries ~ R000, R11, R14, R27

A quick look at the March sketch.

And my second card... when I saw this cute cut apart in the paper pack I just had to use it for another card using Sketch #7 that we featured in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers group for the month of February. I love when a good sketch makes for a fun and easy card!

To finish off the card, I wrapped the card front with some New Leaf Topnotch Twill Tape ribbon from Papertrey Ink. I then adhered the card front to a white A2 top fold card base.

And a look at the cards together... I hope that you've been inspired to pull out some of your holiday stamps and papers and start building your stash of holiday cards now.

Be sure to check out the Spring | Summer Coffee Lovers Hop!! I always have such a great time participating in this hop!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge #8 ~ Poinsettia Wishes ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with another Christmas card... keeping to my goal of at least one per week! Woohoo! My stash is growing! Today, I'm sharing a card using a sweet Itty Bitty stamp from Unity Stamp Co. called Poinsettia Wishes. The Itty Bitty line of stamps from Unity are actually perfect for this sketch because most of them have an image and a sentiment included in the set. I decided to use this one because I adore poinsettias for Christmas.

And I paired this pretty stamp with the beautiful Rustic Wishes papers also from Unity Stamp Co. I chose to just mat the circles and the papers with True Black card stock from Papertrey Ink... just keeping the design simple here and letting the pretty paper and this stamp shine!

I stamped both images with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored in the poinsettia and holly cluster with the following Copic markers ~ R000, R14, R27, Y11, Y17, YG11, YG17, G14, G46, C00, and C2.
I die cut the sentiment and colored image with circle dies, mat them on slightly larger True Black mats and then trimmed off the one edge. I flipped the sketch for this one covering mostly white space on the patterned paper and adhered the circles. To finish it off I added a few black enamel dots. This was actually a pretty quick card with the coloring taking up most of my time. I love when cards are quick!

Here's another look at the March sketch... there's still lots of time to play along with the sketch challenge in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Come join us and start building your stash of holiday cards.

See ya next time.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge #8 ~ Say Cheese Christmas ~ Simple Stories

 Hello there crafty friend!
Oh my goodness... I almost didn't make it this week with my weekly Christmas card to share! Thank goodness I have the adorable Say Cheese Christmas ephemera pieces in my collection! They made for such a quick card!

Isn't that just THE cutest card?! I adore these sweet ephemera pieces from Simple Stories. I especially love the touch of Disney in the Say Cheese Christmas collection. I just adore all things Disney!! I started with a card front of Wild Wasabi from Stampin' Up! The patterned paper is also from the Say Cheese Christmas collection. I trimmed that down to 4-1/8 x 5-3/8". I adhered it to the card front and then adhered the entire panel to a white A2 top-fold card base.

I die cut a 3-1/4" Real Red circle and a 2-3/8" True Black circle. Since I had already adhered my patterned paper I laid the circles down on my card and marked the two sides of the circle to trim off. I cut those in my Tim Holtz Tonic Guillotine Paper Trimmer and adhered them to the card. To finish off the card I adhered the sweet little girl from the Say Cheese Christmas Happy Kids Bits & Pieces and the Happy Holidays sentiment from the Say Cheese Christmas Bits & Pieces. Done! So quick!

Here's another look at the fun {BYSHC} Sketch 8. I'll be back next week with another Christmas card using this fun sketch! I hope you'll come check it out.

Speaking of checking things out, drop by the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog... we're featuring a mix of creations shared by the {BYSH} Cardmakers team and a fun card randomly chosen from the challenge entries in the {BYSH} Cardmakers Facebook group.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge #8 ~ Cuddlebug Frog ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over at the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group and I'm sharing the card I created using the adorable Cuddlebug Frog from Unity Stamp Co
Isn't it just the cutest frog in his little Santa hat?!

The paper I used for this card are from The Holiday Collection by Avery Elle. I went with the green stripes to compliment the frog and then to add some red to coordinate with the hat I chose the polka dot red papers to mat the circles. To finish off the background I added some die cut snowflakes from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Winter Side-Order Thinlit dies.

I'm really loving the mix of diagonal stripes and circles for this one. I can't wait to see what everyone does with this sketch! Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

Hat ~ R000, R14, R37, C00, C2, C3
Frog ~ YG11, YG17, G14
Grounding ~ N0, N2

And here's a look at the sketch! Fun, right? I thought we'd change things up and play with circles this time. You can check out inspiration for this sketch over in the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge Album. I think this will be another good one for using up some of the Christmas paper hoard... gotta make room for the new papers released this year, right?

I just love how this cute card turned out!
I hope you'll come join us over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group and start building your stash of holiday cards along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.
