{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 31 ~ Dairy Christmas ~ Newton's Nook Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm sharing another Christmas card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 31 for the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group. Today I'm featuring the adorable Dairy Christmas stamp set from Newton's Nook Designs. I just adore this cute stack of farm animals!! And the best part is that it's on sale during their Retiring Sale so go order yours before they are all gone!

I paired the cute critters up with the Simple Vintage Country Christmas 6x8 paper pad from Simple Stories. I love the mix of papers in this paper pad and I think they work really well with these cute farm animals.

The critters were stamped on Stampers Select White card stock from Papertrey Ink using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the following Copic markers to color up my image:

Rooster ~ YR21, YR24, YR27, YG03, YG63, YG97, R20, R14, R17
Pig ~ R00, R11, R02, R20, R17, YG03, YG63, YG97, C00, C1, C3
Cow ~ N0, N2, N4, N6, C00, C1, C3, E000, E00, R02, R11, R05, R17, YG03, YG63, YG97
Santa Hats ~ C00, C1, C3, R11, R05, R17

I die cut the cute farm critters with a stitched circle die from the Circle Frames Die Set from Newton's Nook Designs. Popped the main image up on the card with lots of foam tape. I stamped the sentiment and die cut it using the Banner Nesting Dies from Unity Stamp Co.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 31 ~ Owl Bundle Up ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm sharing another Christmas card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 31 for the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group. I just adore the sweet owls illustrated by Lisa Arana for Unity Stamp Co. The adorably sweet owl from the Owl Bundle Up stamps was just perfect for my card today.

I paired him up with the Snowy Winter Greetings {paper pack} also from Unity. The snowflakes in the pattern paper compliment the snowflakes on the sweet owl's sweater.

The owl was stamped on Stampers Select White card stock from Papertrey Ink {my go-to white card stock!} using Black Amalgam ink from Gina K Designs. I used the following Copic markers to color up my image:

Owl ~ E21, E23, E25, C00, C1, C3, YR21, YR15, YR27
Sweater ~ B000, B91, B95
Ground ~ C00, C1, C3

My main panel was die cut with a stitched circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I popped it up on my card with foam tape. The sentiment is trimmed up and just adhered to the card. And I finished up the card with a few enamel dots from my stash... I'm really just trying to use these up!! I have SO many. It's ridiculous.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 31 ~ Let it Snow ~ Doodlebug Design

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers! Today I'm sharing a sweet Christmas card using my favorite Doodlebug Design collection called Let it Snow.

I used a fun mix of pattern papers from the Let it Snow 6x6 paper pad to create my background and layers for my card.

And then I searched through my Let it Snow Chit Chat and Let it Snow Odds & Ends die cut pieces. I had a few different die cuts laid out on my desk including the cute Santas in my photo. But once I saw the sentiment... I just HAD to use the Yeti with this sentiment. Too cute!

I do have a bit of a tip for the the layers in the sketch. I cut a scrap piece of card stock to 3-3/8 x 4-3/8" and adhered my two pattern papers to it {the rainbow polka dots and snowflakes paper}. This was way easier than trying to adhere those two papers to the gingham layer separately and get them centered on the card front.
