Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ The List Guy ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm sneaking in another card for the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party! I had a fun idea using one of my favorite holiday stamps, The List Guy, from our wonderful Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. and I just HAD to make it!

I ink smooshed my background using Twisted Citron, Evergreen Bough, and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks on Stampers Select White card stock from Papertrey Ink. I let it dry completely overnight. I heat embossed the wonderful Christmas All Around Background stamp, also from Unity using Wow Clear Embossing ink and Glory Gold Embossing powder from Stampin' Up. I die cut the background using the largest die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}. And then I just had to add some splatters. I used Apple Barrel White Acrylic paint and the Mowed Lawn Distress Ink for my splatters. I let it dry and then adhered it using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from our wonderful Sponsor Therm O Web to a white A2 top fold card base.

I stamped The List Guy and colored him up with some Copic markers. I fussy cut him on the line except around the fuzzy white parts I left a bit of a white border around those. And then I cut the edges with my Tim Holtz Tonic Guillotine Comfort Paper Trimmer. I added a bunch of 3D Foam Squares from our wonderful Sponsor Therm O Web and popped Santa up on the card.

Here's a list of the Copic markers I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04
Beard / Fuzzy Trim: C00, C1, C3
Hat / Suit: R20, R14, R46
Belt: N0, N1, N3, N5, Y11, Y15, Y28

It took me a while to decide on a sentiment that would compliment the background and not be too big. I decided to go with the 'Merry Christmas' from the Gotta Love Sentiments, also from Unity. I heat embossed it on Green Parakeet card stock from Papertrey Ink. I also popped it up using the 3D Foam Squares.

I have had SO much fun playing along with the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party! So much fun that I just had to make another card. And I might have one more... it's not quite done yet so I'm not sure if I'll make the deadline. I hope that you'll stop by the Linky Party and check out the cards that have been linked up. Lots of fabulous inspiration!! Don't forget the Linky Party ends at 11:59pm PST tonight. Get those entries in! Have an ink-tastic day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal

Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Believe in the Magic, Santa ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm so excited to share my first card for the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party hosted by the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group!! This is our fourth annual Spring Linky Party!! Woohoo! Just a note... though it has Spring in the name the linky party is focused on Christmas and wintry holiday cards. It's a great way to get ahead on those holiday cards to relieve some of the stress later on in the year during the holidays. I am super excited to add a bunch of cards to my Christmas card stash and I sure hope that you'll join in the fun.

For my first card I'm featuring the super cute Believe in the Magic, Santa Digital Stamp from our wonderful return Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs. I adore this digi stamp! I paired this sweet stamp up with the Santa's Workshop 6x6 Paper Pad from Carta Bella. I adhered all my layers to a white A2 top fold card base using the iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from our lovely Sponsor Therm O Web.

I combined and resized the Santa digi and the sentiment in a Word Document and printed it off. I then die cut it using a large stitched circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from our fabulous Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. And then I Copic colored Santa using a bunch of Copic markers. Here's a quick list:

Skin: E000, E11, E11, R20
Hair / Beard: C00, C1, C3, Colorless Blender
Santa's Suit: R20, R14, R46, C00, C1, C3
Belt ~ N1, N3, N5, Y11, Y15
Gloves / Santa's Bag: N1, N3, N5
Bow: R20, R14, R46

I adhered my papers to a 5 x 3-3/4" piece of Real Red card stock from Stampin' Up. I adhered my panel to a 5-1/2 x 4-1/4" piece of pattern paper and then adhered the panel to a white A2 top fold card base that I turned on its side. I covered the back of the circle with foam tape and then popped it up on the card. And I finished off the card using a few enamel dots from the coordinating Santa's Workshop Enamel Dots from Carta Bella.

My card was inspired by the {BYSHC} Sketch 41 that we used back in January. This sketch has definitely become a favorite! Have you visited the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group? We host a fun sketch challenge each month to inspire our holiday cardmaking all year long. I love revisiting the sketches and will likely be sharing a few during the Linky Party.

I'm also a Sponsor for the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I have a wonderful prize set aside for one lucky winner. No picture this time. That way it'll be a fun surprise! For a chance to win my fun prize make a Christmas card and link it up to the linky party blog post on the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers blog. Stop by the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration that's already been shared from our Sponsors and the {BYSHC} Design Team!! I'm so excited to continue building my stash of holiday cards for 2024... I hope you'll join in the fun and play along! Let's build our stash of holiday cards this week!! Have an ink-tastic day!

Advent Calendar Day 7 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for Day 7 of the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity!! I'm revealing the Advent Calendar stamp on my YouTube channel each day and also have a short blog post. Did you get the Advent Calendar? I sure hope you're having fun with it!

An adorable Santa stamp is the next Advent Calendar stamp! I stamped Santa with Black Amalgam ink on a circle die cut I cut from Stampers Select White card stock using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I colored up Santa with the following Copic markers {just realized I forgot to color his belt buckle... LOL!!}:

Skin: E000, E00, E11
Hat: C00, C1, C3, R20, R14, R46
Mustache / Beard: C00, C1, C3
Clothes: R20, R14, R46, C00, C1, C3

Inspiration for today's card comes from the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 15. I pretty much stuck to the sketch for this one. I love how the different directions on the stripes paper brings the eye to the center panel!

I paired today's Advent Calendar stamp with the gorgeous new Yuletide Memories {paper pack}!! I absolutely HAD to have these papers!! So gorgeous!

I heat embossed the sentiment using the TE Anti Static Powder tool and Sugar Cube Pigment ink from Taylored Expressions on Kraft card stock from Papertrey Ink. I also used Alabaster White Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe. And melted the ep using a Wagner Precision Heat Tool. All my layers are adhered to a 6 x 3" mini slimline card base.

You can check out my video revealing the Advent Calendar Day 7 stamp and my process in making this card here... Advent Calendar Day 7 | Unity Stamp Co.

I believe there may be some Advent Calendars available if you didn't order one yet. I'll be back tomorrow for Day 8 of the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity! Have an ink-tastic day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.
