Inky Paws Challenge #233 ~ Color Challenge

Hello there crafty friend!

It's time for a new Inky Paws Challenge... a beautiful Color Challenge!

Inky Paws Challenge #233 - Color Challenge

Such an amazing color combo... Burnt Orange, Olive Green, Slate Gray, and Ivory!! 

I had a fun idea for almost a CAS card using some papers from the A Cat's Life 6x6 Paper Pad. I started with a fun orange background that I die cut using the largest die from the Frames & Flags Die Set. I also wanted to use the scrap of gray pattern paper I had in my pad and I thought die cutting it with the stitched banner die would be fun. 

And then I decided to die cut a piece of white card stock for the sentiment. I thought it would be fun to overlap the banner dies to create a corner for the kitty. I think it's unique and fun! What do you think?! 

I stamped the adorable taco kitty and party hat from the Newton Loves Tacos Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I Copic colored the kitty and hat. And then I die cut them both using the coordinating Newton Loves Tacos Die Set. All the paper layers are adhered directly to a gray A2 top fold card base (weird how it looks black in the photos). The kitty is popped up on the card with foam tape. And then I finished off the card with a few sequins from my stash.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used for the taco kitty:

Kitty: R00, R20, N0, N2, N4

Taco Shell: E40, E81, YR21

Lettuce: YG11, YG91, YG95

Tomato: R00, R20, R14

Cheese: YR21, YR16

Hat: N0, N2, N4, E40, E81, YR21, YR16, YG11, YG91, YG95
