Hi there crafty friends!
I couldn't help but make another card using one of the fabulous digi images from the Petals For The Pittman's digi set.... this one is actually from the Mini Set that is available.
You can check it out here ---> Petals For The Pittman's Mini Set.
If you'd like to find out more about the Fundraiser, you can check out the main post on the Polka Dot Orchard Blog, as well as the link to play along with the Linky Party! Just create something with a floral theme and link up for your chance to win! But hurry... time is running out!!
So, as I had mentioned above... my card today features the lovely image included in the Petals For The Pittman's Mini Set. And I paired it up with one of the sentiments also included in the set. I combined both images in a Word Document and printed them off.
I then colored the image with the following Copic markers:
Flower ~ YR09, YR15, YR31 (petals), Y000, Y15, Y17, Y35, E37, E97, YR27 (center),
YG11, G07, G24 (stem)
Butterfly ~ B0000, B000, BV02, V04
You may have noticed I used a lot of colors for the center of the flower... lol... I kept wanting to go darker around the edges so... it took a few tries. Just keeping it real! Anywho, once the image was colored I die cut it with a stitched rectangle die and then mat it with True Black card stock. I used some scrap papers from American Crafts Shimelle Collection and adhered them to a white card base. I wrapped a pretty white satin ribbon around the card and tied a bow. I then popped up the focal piece using foam tape and called this card Done! I just love the rainbow of colors on my card... wasn't planned that way, I assure you!
There's just a few more days to play along with the Linky Party over at Polka Dot Orchard!! Go check it out and play along if you can!
Thanks for checking out my blog post!
See ya next time.
Inky Hugs,
Crystal
