Thank Mew ~ Heartfelt Meows ~ Newton's Nook Designs

Hello there crafty friend! 

Today I'm sharing a sweet thank you card I made for a friend who sent me some crafty goodies. We share a love of cats so I had to use a cat theme for the card.

I stamped the sweet kitties from the Heartfelt Meows Stamp Set from Newton's Nook Designs. I traced the inside of the largest die from the Heart Frames Die Set around the kitties and fussy cut it so the stitches would show from the kraft mat. And then I die cut the kraft mat using that same die. I colored up the kitties with Copic markers and adhered the heart layers.

Copic markers used:

Orange Kitties: YR20, YR21, YR15, R00, R20

Dark Grey Kitties: C1, C2, C3, C5, R00, R20

Light Grey Kitty: C0, C1, C3, R00, R20

White Kitty: C0, C2, R00, R20

Siamese Kitties: W0, W1, W3, W5, R00, R20

Mice: C1, C3

Fish: Y15, BG10, BG01

Yarn: BG10, BG01, YR20, YR15

Paw Print: YG11, YG03

MEW: BG10, BG01, YR20, YR21, YR15, YG11, YG03

I paired up the sweet kitties with the A Cat's Life 6x6 Paper Pad. I die cut pieces of the pattern paper using the Card Layout 7 Die. I die cut a frame from a turquoise card stock and adhered my layers to a kraft A2 top fold card base. I adhered the heart directly to the card. I die cut the sentiment strip from white card stock using the Banner Trio Die Set and stamped the sentiment in the center. I used foam tape to pop up the center of the sentiment and just glued the two sides down onto the heart.

A fun personalized thank you card. So fun! Hope you like it and I really hope my friend likes it too.
