Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 45 Continued ~ Ghostly Treat ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

If you missed it last week... I'm trying to get us all set up for homeschool starting back up on Monday so I'm extending the Sketch 45 Challenge until September 28th. Today I'm sharing another fun card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 45 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. A sweet Halloween card featuring an adorable digi stamp from Angie Blom Digital Designs.

I resized and combined the cute ghost digi and sentiment from the Ghostly Treat digital stamp set in a Word Document and printed them off on white card stock. And then I colored the image very simply with a few Copic markers.

Copic markers used:

Ghost: C0, C2, 

Hands: E00, E11

Socks: V12, V06

Candy: YR15, YR68, V12, V06, YG11, YG63

Ground: C0, C2

Outline: YG00, Colorless Blender

I die cut the cute ghost using a die from the Wonky Stitched Circle dies from Gina Marie Designs. I paired up the cute focal image with the Halloween Magic 6x6 Paper Pad from Echo Park Paper Co. No idea if these are still around or not. They've been in my stash for a long time, I'm pretty sure.

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 45. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I'm having so much fun with this sketch. I'll admit I'm not upset to be playing with this sketch some more. I love it!

Just like the last few cards, I adhered the sentiment to the circle and then popped up the whole focal image with foam tape. I sure hope you can find time to play along with the sketch challenge. Have an INKriffic day!

Advent Calendar 2025 Day 20 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!

It's Day 20 of the 2025 Advent Calendar from Unity!! Just 4 day left! I hope you've been enjoying your Advent Calendar and playing along as I share inspiration.

Today's stamp is a gorgeous fairy. I stamped her with Speckled Egg Distress Ink. I then die cut her with a circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}.

Inspiration for my card came from the {BYSHC} Sketch 48! This is a great card for scraps... or not! I had fun making it!

So fun to change things up with a Halloween card! 

I paired up the cute ghost with the Haunted Hues {paper pack}. The fun sentiment is from the Hallows' Eve Tree stamps.

Happy Boo-thday ~ {Boo} to You ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend! 

I was asked to make another custom birthday card with a Halloween theme. The focus was a ghost and pumpkin with teal and purple. I think she mentioned orange too but I couldn't quite work that in.

I started with my background. I went looking through my sketches. I keep all of them in a drawer at my desk so I can just shuffle through them and find what peeks my interest and this fun one was perfect so I could use a bunch of different papers. 

Here's the past TOP Inky Inspiration Sketch I used. Isn't it fun?! It's one of my favorites. If you're interested in seeing more inspiration for this sketch you can check it out in my Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. 

The papers I used are from Ink N' Splatter and they're called Spooky Nights. I don't see them on their website, unfortunately. I used the measurements on the sketch to cut my papers and adhered them to a black A2 card base.

I stamped the adorable ghost from the {Boo} to You stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. This is one of the Clearly Unity stamps that are made from photopolymer. I believe it's also available in red rubber. Actually, that's all I'm seeing on the website. The pumpkin is from the September 2025 KOM called Harvest to Holiday. I colored up the pumpkin with BG10, BG72, BG13, BG75, E21, E25. For the ghost I just used C0, C2 to give it some shading. And for the purple pumpkin I used V01, V06, V09. All of the sentiments in the set are for Halloween so I found a fun font and printed it off of my computer. Easy peasy.

I continued the design inside the card. I stamped the other ghost inside and colored it up with just a few Copic markers. I used V01, V06, V09, YG11, YG09 on the hat; C0, C2 for the ghost; and BG10, BG13 for the little pumpkin. This was such a fun card to make! If you need a custom card made, let me know!
