Unity Stamp Company ~ Happy Birthday to You

Hello crafty peeps!
I made this sweet card to celebrate Unity Stamp Company's birthday!!

This sweet stamp is on sale right now!! ---> Happy Birthday to You

I had fun playing with a bunch of different layers of paper using a paper pad that I actually received a long time ago. It's hard to believe but this paper hoarder is enjoying using up her papers! LOL

I used the following Copic markers for this card ~ R01, R11, R21, R85,
YR00, BG53, BG72, B00, YG91, N2

This was a pretty simple design with all of the layers adhered to the white card base. I did pop up the larger polka dot paper layer. A few enamel dots finished this cute card off!

Thanks so much for checking out my blog post!
See ya next time.

The Rabbit Hole Designs ~ Coffee Lovers Spring I Summer 2019 Blog Hop

Hey crafty peeps!
Today, I'm sharing my love of coffee using The Rabbit Hole Designs little freebie stamp that I received in my last order from the new May release!! If you're not familiar with The Rabbit Hole Designs stamps... you are missing out!! After you check out my card, go check them out!

Once I saw this sweet little stamp set I just knew I had to make an alcohol ink background and pull out my much neglected Alcohol Lift Ink ink pad. I used turquoise and raspberry alcohol inks and just swiped the ink across the yupo card stock using a blending tool with the felt. I stamped the beautiful partial coffee image several times, along with the 'Love' and 'coffee' stamps. I even decided to stamp a few of the caffeine molecule stamp... so fun!

I'm not sure why my card has a yellow tinge in this picture, but I took a few different photos and couldn't get a better picture so... here it is.

I mat the alcohol ink layer onto a piece of Tempting Turquoise card stock and wrapped the vellum layer over top securing it with adhesive on the back. I popped up the panel onto a white card base and added a few white enamel dots... bam! Love how it turned out!

I encourage you to check out the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop... it's so much fun!

Thanks for checking out my blog post today!
See ya next time.

DeNami Designs ~ Coffee Lovers Spring I Summer 2019 Blog Hop

Hey there crafty peeps!
I'm back with a cute card for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!

I was lucky enough to have won a prize during the Fall/Winter Coffee Lover's Blog Hop back in November from DeNami Designs and I thought it would be fun to use my prize in a post
for this hop so... here is the card I created!

I stamped the adorable little coffee cups several times over a scrap piece of white card stock along with the cute little owl using Memento tuxedo black ink. I then colored in the images with the following Copic markers ~ RV0000, RV02, V000, V01, B000, B00, Y000, Y02,
N1, E21, E23, E25, YR02.

For my sentiment, I decided to go with a fun CUTplorations die from STAMPlorations called Java Great Day Phrase die. Isn't that fun!? I thought it was cute with the little owl!

That's it for me today!! Thanks for checking out my blog!
See ya next time.

~ Friends of Unity May Blog Hop ~

Hello crafty peeps!!
Can you believe that it's time for another Friends of Unity blog hop?! I cannot!!
Time just zips on by!! It's so crazy... well, this month we have another fun cue...

Isn't that a fun cue?! I love it!
I thought I'd stick within the citrus fruit family and play with some lemon stamps but... with a twist because I want my card to also work for the fabulous Spring / Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop so here's what I came up with...

My favorite drink, any time that we go out to eat, is an Arnold Palmer... a yummy mix of iced tea and lemonade!! It's a great way to have iced tea without having to add sugar or sweetener... LOL! I know some of you are thinking I'm crazy.... iced tea HAS to have sugar! I'm cutting back on that stuff sooo... anywho, I thought it would be fun to combine the sweet jar from the new May 2019 KOM called Sweetness, Miracles and Wishes from Unity Stamp Company with the beautiful lemons from the July 2018 KOM called Stand Tall

I stamped my images onto Canson XL watercolor paper and colored them in with my ZIGs.
I trimmed my layers and adhered them to a white card base. I fussy cut the jar and popped it up on the card. I couldn't find the right yellow to back the sentiment so I just used the yellow ZIG markers to color the edges... easy peasy!

So I'm not only playing along with the Spring / Summer Coffee Lovers Blog hop...

I used the Freshly Made Sketches #386 for my card...

AND... I'm also going to enter my card in the Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge...

Do you ever play along with challenges?! I think they are a great way to get inspired!

So, I think it's about time to get hopping... but before we do that. It has been a
good long time since I've done a giveaway for our Friends of Unity hops... I think we're a bit overdue! I'm not sure how it happened but I accidentally bought two of the brand new Cuddlebug Fawn stamp kits for my latest order with Unity Stamp Company so
I'll be giving away one of those kits to one lucky winner!!
All you have to do is hop along with us and comment on each of our blogs!
I'll use Random.org to choose one lucky winner that I'll announce next month during our June hop!!
Thank you all again for your lovely comments and support!!
Happy Hopping!

Hello again!
I have another post today for the 2019 Spring / Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!! This time featuring Polka Dot Orchard's gorgeous Flowers in Bloom digi set!!

I combined the sentiment and the top flower together and printed them off.
I also printed the beautiful coffee cup on a separate sheet that I added several different sizes of the same cup. Love the versatility of digis!! I colored the images using the following Copic markers:

Flowers ~ YR01, YR02, YR27, YR68, Y02, Y06, Y17, Y26, G99, YG95
Cup Sleeve ~ YR0000, YR000, YR21
Cup ~ W1

I fussy cut the cup and popped it up on the card! Isn't that flower just gorgeous?!
I love this digi set!!

Have a blast hopping along with the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!!

Scrapping for Less ~ Coffee Lovers Spring I Summer 2019 Blog Hop

Hi crafty peeps!
It's time! It's time for the next Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!! I love these hops so much! I just HAD to use the adorable Unicorn Marci to create my first card for the 2019 Spring / Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

I used two stencils to create the background along with a bunch of Spring colored distress oxide inks ~ Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac, and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks. I watercolored Unicorn Marci with Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Shaded Lilac, Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose, and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide inks. I borrowed the cup from another set... it was actually stamped awhile ago so I'm not sure what set I had used... I watercolored the coffee cup with Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide inks. I fussy cut both images and then popped them up on my stenciled background that I had die cut with a wonky stitch die and adhered to a white card base.

I then stamped the sentiment... a combination of the sentiment with the Unicorn Marci stamp set and a masked sentiment from the Mini Marci with Coffee stamp set. I love how it turned out!

Have a blast hopping along!!

See ya next time.

Polka Dot Orchard ~ Spread Your Wings ~ Happy Mother's Day

Hi crafty friends!
I have my first Mother's Day card of the year to share with you today! I just love how this mixed media card turned out... but guess what? It's using digi stamps and copic markers! Yes! So... I guess it's more of a faux mixed media card LOL! Anyhow, I love it!
The Spread Your Wings digi stamps by Polka Dot Orchard can be found... here!

When Jessica, the owner and artist of Polka Dot Orchard, shared a little sneak peek of this new digi set I fell in love! I love the designs of the stamps included and the possibilities are endless when combining them together in a word document.

I started by adding the scribbled background stamp keeping it to one side of what would be my card front and then added the flowers stamp over top adjusting the size so a good amount of the scribble background showed through. I included some more digis on my page and then printed it off. I trimmed my cardstock down to four card fronts and then for this particular one, I ran it through my big shot with the MFT In & Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die.

I had so much fun coloring the flowers... I decided to go with warm oranges and yellows. I used the following Copic markers ~ Y000, Y06, Y15, Y17, Y28, Y38, E15, E97, YR14, YR21, YR24, YR27, G99, YG93, YG95.

I then colored my background alternating between the B000 and BV000 copic markers. I also added some V000 and some colorless blender to take away some color. To finish off the background I made a mask to cover up the flowers and then I added some Martha Stewart Metallic Champagne acrylic paint splatters, as well as some white splatters.

I wrapped some black metallic thread around the die cut panel and adhered the ends in the back with some tape. I adhered the panel on a black mat and then adhered the entire panel on a white card base. The sentiment... also included in the digi set of stamps... was also printed on my sheet of digis and I just trimmed it down and popped it up on the card. I added a skinny strip of black card stock underneath the sentiment to break up the white. My final touch was a few Nuvo glossy black drops.

I have plans to make a few Mother's Day cards this week to share. I hope
you'll come back to check them out.

Thank you friends for checking out my blog post!
See ya next time.
