Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 37 ~ Furmidable Love ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing one last card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 37 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. Have you seen the HUGE new release over at Unity for their Brown Thursday sale?!?! OMGeee!! I had to snag the adorable Furmidable Love stamps!! My order just arrived and I couldn't wait to ink this up!

I was so excited about this adorable stamp set that I bought the Furmidable Love stamps AND I bought the awesome From Grandma's Lap Bundle that includes the awesome stamps and the super sweet Sunday at Grandma's {paper pack}!! LOL! Talk about buying duplicates... geez! Anywho, I stamped these cuties and colored them up with Copic markers.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R00, R20
Hair: B000, B00, C00, C2
Lips: R00, R20, R22
Head Band: YR20, YR02, YR15
Earrings: G21, G94
Blouse: Y11, Y15
Jacket: R00, R20, R22
Kitty: C0, C2, R00, R20, N0, N2, N4, YR20, YR15

I die cut these cuties using a die from the Dashes and Frills Hearts {die set}. I distressed the edges of the heart and the sentiment with the ink on my blending brush. I set it aside and started my background. I cut three pieces of pattern paper from the Sunday at Grandma's {paper pack}. I adhered them to a Kraft A2 card base with the darker papers on the outside.

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 37. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. This sketch challenge ends in just a few days on Monday, November 24th.

I adhered the sentiment to the heart and popped them both up with foam tape. I finished off the card with some Glossy Accents on the Gma's glasses. I love how this turned out! Sure hope you've been inspired to play!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Snuggle Anya ~ Preview Day 3 ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's the final day of previews at The Greeting Farm for the November release! Today we're introducing SNUGGLE ANYA!!! Anya is just too cute and I love all her cute animal friends included in the stamp set!

I stamped Anya and the cute bunny with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers. Fussy cut each of them on the line and then colored the edges with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker making the edges nice and neat.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R00, R20
Hair: E70, E71, E74
Hat / Jeans / Bow: B00, B93, B95
Flower: C0, C2, Y11, Y15
Shirt: Y11, Y15
Sweater: RV10, RV02, RV14, C0, C2
Boots: N0, N2, N4
Bunny: W0, W2, W3, R00, R20

I used the Cozy Textiles {paper pack} from Unity for my background. I love all the fun textures and the cozy vibe it adds to the card. I die cut a circle from vellum card stock using the X Stitched Circle dies from Gina Marie Designs.

Inspiration for my card came from the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 37. I used all scraps for this card and I used the measurements from the sketch, too. I am loving how easy a card comes together with this sketch!

I stamped and trimmed the sentiment. I adhered it directly to the card. I adhered Anya and her bunny to the vellum circle and then applied glue just behind them to adhere the circle to the card.

The release goes live in the store on Saturday the 15th at 12am EST - that's tomorrow! Woohoo! Be sure to come back then for the release Blog Hop!! One lucky winner will receive a $50 gift card to The Greeting Farm. All you have to do is comment on every stop of the hop! Yay!

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 37 ~ Honk for the Holidays ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a fun set of holiday cards for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 37 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I started cutting my papers and thought... why not make a set? So I did!

First I cut my papers to 1-1/4 x 5-1/4". I used three fun pattern papers from the beautiful Vintage Polka Dot & Stripes Christmas Colors {paper pack}. I adhered them to the Kraft A2 top fold card bases. I wanted to add a little something to the card so I die cut snowflakes using the Small Snowflakes die from Gina Marie Designs.

I adhered the three snowflakes on each card base and then I set the cards aside. I stamped the super cute geese and the fun sentiment from Honk for the Holidays

Copic markers used for the Christmas Lights Goose: C0, C2, YR20, YR21, YR15, G000, G24, R20, and R14.

Copic markers used for the Santa Goose: C0, C2, YR20, YR21, YR15, R20, R14, N0, N2, N4, Y11, Y15, and Y28.

I trimmed the sentiments and popped them up on each of the cards with foam tape.

Copic markers used for the Reindeer Goose: C0, C2, YR20, YR21, YR15, E21, and E25.

I also popped up each of the geese on the cards with foam tape.

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 37 ~ Christmas Critters ~ Not 2 Shabby

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing another card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 37 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. Another quick card for this challenge... the holiday season hasn't even officially started and life is busy!

I used some cute scraps from the Christmas Critters 6x6 Paper Pad from Not 2 Shabby to make my background for the card. I love all of the cute critters in these papers!

I combined three pieces of ephemera from the Christmas Critters Ephemera from Not 2 Shabby for my focal image for this card. Super easy peasy!

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 37. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I used the measurements from the sketch for the strips and adhered them to a red A2 card base.

The cute sentiment is from the retired Gingerbread Hugs stamp set, also from Not 2 Shabby. And it's die cut using the coordinating dies. I love how quick this card came together. And I got to use up some scraps too. I hope you can find time to play along. I can't wait to see what you create. Have an INKredible week!

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 37 ~ Merriest Christmas ~ Newton's Nook Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm sharing my first card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 37 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I have had a fun filled weekend with my family and just remembered I needed to make a card for this challenge... LOL! So I made a quick one with pretty papers and dies.

I just LOVE the new holiday release over at Newton's Nook Designs. So many new goodies! I had to have the awesome new Christmas Party 6x6 Paper Pad. The designs on the papers are so lovely and I don't know what it is, but I just love pink for Christmas. Naturally, I went all in on the pink for this card!

The Merriest Christmas Die Set helped me make this quick card. I die cut a piece of the pattern paper for the shadow layers. I love how it helps the sentiment to stand out. I die cut the sentiment from white card stock two times and adhered the layers together to give the sentiment some dimension.

Isn't that font just gorgeous! I love it!

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 37. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I used the measurements for the strips on my card and they fit just perfectly on my A2 card base.

Lots of possibilities with this fun sketch! And it'll work great for scraps too. I hope you can find time to play along. I can't wait to see what you create. Have an INKredible week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
