Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a bit more inspiration for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 29 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I couldn't resist inking up the new and adorable LoLa from Unity! Love, love, love!
Isn't she just darling?! I just want to snuggle her so. I stamped her with Black Amalgam ink and colored her up just a tiny bit with Copic markers. To tie in the colors in the papers I colored the ground pink and around the kitty blue. Also her eyes are green, but it's hard to see in the photo.
Here's a quick list of the copic markers I used:
Kitty: C00, C1, YG11, YG23
Outline: B0000, B000
Ground: RV10, RV11, RV14
Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 29. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I feel my cards are a good example of that, as I'm always making adjustments... like this time I completely omitted the background layer.
I die cut LoLa with a circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I also die cut pattern papers with the next largest circle die. I adhered them together and then popped it up on the card with foam tape.
I just realized I didn't share the scraps I'm trying to finish up this month. These are retired papers from Scrapping for Less which is no longer in business. I took this photo after making my card for last week, but before making today's card so there's a little less since I die cut the circle and cut the panel for today's card.
The sentiment is die cut using a die from the Scalloped & Stitched Sentiment Nesting Dies. And it's adhered directly to the card. I'm having so much fun with this sketch! I hope you can find time to play along! I can't wait to see what you create. Have an inkredible week!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.
Inky Hugs,
Crystal

Did you cut strips from the zig-zag paper and weave them to make the plaid? Amazing, and I adore the colors and the card!
ReplyDeleteHi Sue! Thanks so much! No, that plaid pattern is on the pattern paper from my scraps. :)
