Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a fun mini slimline Christmas card featuring my favorite little stamp set from our fab sponsor, Gina K. Designs! Gina K. Designs has generously offered up a $25 gift certificate as a prize for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 52 this month! Amazing!!
I've played with the Wishing You Mini stamp set from Gina K. Designs a few times now. I love the mix of sentiments and the snowflakes. I decided to do some gold heat embossing to coordinate with the gold glitter in the papers.
I paired up the pretty stamps with the Miss Mary Christmas paper pad from Hobby Lobby. I prepped the Garden Green card stock from Stampin' Up using the TE Anti Static Powder Tool from Taylored Expressions. The sentiments and snowflake are stamped with Wow Clear Embossing Ink. I used Antique Gold Embossing Powder from Simon Says Stamp to sprinkle over the wet ink. And then I melted the embossing powder with the Wagner Precision Heat Tool.
I die cut the pretty snowflake using a circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from Unity. I popped up the wishing you sentiment and the snowflake using foam tape. It was so fun to used colored card stock for this card. I don't use it often enough.
Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 52 for the month of December. It's been a long time since we've done a mini slimline design. If you're not a fan of mini slimline cards, feel free to alter the design for an A2 card or even an A7 card. Whatever works for you. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! The design team, as always, rocked this sketch!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.
Inky hugs,
Crystal
