Membership Wednesday Tags ~ Unity October 2024 KOM Sweet Bliss of Christmas ~ Unity Stamp Co.

  Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing three pretty holiday tags featuring fantastic stamps from the October 2024 Kit of the Month called Sweet Bliss of Christmas. These were pretty quick to make and so much fun!

The tags are die cut from Kraft card stock from Papertrey Ink using dies from the Scalloped Tags die {looks like they are out of stock}. I also die cut slightly smaller tags from the Festive Christmas {paper pack}. The sweet deer is die cut from the papers. Love it! All of the edges are distressed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

I stamped the stockings using Black Amalgam ink from Gina K. Designs. I colored them up with my Copic markers and then fussy cut them leaving a white border around the images. I also distressed the edges with a bit of Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Poinsettia: R20, R14, R27, Y15
Greenery: YG11, G24, G46
Tree: YG11, G24, G46, E55, E57
Star: Y15
Poinsettia Stocking: C00, C2, R20
Tree Stocking: C00, C2, R20, R14, R27

The sentiments are all heat embossed with my favorite combo. I prepped the Kraft card stock using the TE Anti-Static Powder Tool from Taylored Expressions. Stamped the sentiment using the Sugar Cube White Pigment ink from Taylored Expressions, and added Alabaster White Embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. I then melted the embossing powder using my Wagner Precision Heat Tool. I trimmed them all up and adhered the two with the stockings directly to the tag. The sentiment on the deer tag is popped up with foam tape. I just realized I completely forgot to add the ribbon and twine before taking photos... ooops! I'll likely add white ribbon and some festive red and white twine.

Here's a quick look at this month's Kit of the Month membership! So in love with this month's KOM!!

Well, that's it for me today! I hope you've been inspired to play with your membership stamps!
Hope you have an ink-tastic day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

No Coloring ~ May 2021 Whit Kit ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'll be sharing some fun inspiration using the new May 2021 Whit Kit this week. First up is a No Coloring card! I know that sometimes I just don't feel like coloring and the gorgeous stamps in the Beauty of Becoming set in the kit have SO much detail that you can absolutely get away without coloring them!!

Here's a very simple card featuring the beautiful hummingbird. I cut a piece of the patterned paper to 4-1/8 x 5-3/8" and adhered it to a white A2 top fold card base. I die cut the circle from another piece of the beautiful paper in the Simple Spring paper pack... absolutely gorgeous papers in this kit!!

Now, I wanted to make this one into a birthday card so I pulled out one of favorite sentiments from the Aging Gorgeously sentiment kit and stamped it directly on the bottom layer of pattern paper. Done! So easy... I have a little process video to share that also shows all the fun contents in the kit. You can check that out here... No Coloring | May 2021 Whit Kit | Unity Stamp Co.

Here's a look at the contents of the May 2021 Whit Kit. This kit is  available at Unity Stamp Co.

I'll be back tomorrow with another card I created with the May 2021 Whit Kit.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Scrapping for Less ~ Summer Memory Dex Cards

 Hello there crafty friend!

Today I'm sharing a few Summer themed memory dex cards that I've created for my spinner to keep track of the birthdays in my life, be it family or friend. I've been struggling this year with sending out birthday cards... not sure if it's just a 2020 thing, but I got to thinking that it sure would be handy to have a way to keep track of those birthdays in a more efficient way.

So I happened to have some Summer themed papers on my desk and I got to thinking that I'd just start with those!! I also had the new fabulous Barn Create-A-Dex die on my desk... so naturally, I used it!! I started by die cutting the stitched barn die from the pretty papers. I used a piece from the Strawberry Fields paper pad, the Rustic Watermelon paper pad, and the Golden Beach paper pad. And then I also pulled out my ephemera pieces... Strawberry Fields ephemera and Rustic Watermelon ephemera (looks like that is sold out). I didn't have any Golden Beach ephemera so I just cut a bunch of images out of two different patterned papers. I just love how easy these cards came together. Let's have a closer look...

I used a red card stock from my stash for the memory dex card base. I adhered the beautiful Strawberry Field patterned paper that I had die cut with the stitched barn die. Then I adhered the leaves and jam jar ephemera pieces. I popped up the strawberry ephemera piece with foam squares and then I just trimmed June from an old calendar set that I had from a couple of years ago. I mat it on the same red card stock and adhered it to the card. I wanted to add a bit of ribbon and decided to just punch a couple holes in the card and tie the bow through there... it was pretty easy. I'm going to die cut another piece of red card stock with the base die and adhere it to the back just to make the whole card a little more stable.

I also added a little Nuvo aqua shimmer to the strawberry ephemera piece. You can see a little bit of the sparkle in this photo.

For my July memory dex card, I die cut a base of black card stock and then adhered the pretty Rustic Watermelon patterned paper. I also die cut the red heart from that same paper (it's the other side of the double sided patterned paper). I covered up the black hole with the cute ephemera pieces and the red patterned paper heart. I also punched a couple holes in the card and added a bit of white baker's twine. And to finish this one off, I added a few white enamel dots... oh, and a little sparkle to the watermelon slice in the gnomes hand with the Nuvo aqua shimmer pen. I'm also going make this one a bit more sturdy by die cutting another black base.

And my last card... which just may be my favorite! My base for this one uses my all time favorite card stock... Tempting Turquoise. I adhered the pretty star fish patterned paper from the Golden Beach paper pad to the base and adhered the bikini, life preserver, and sunblock bottle directly to the card. I then popped up the flip flops and seashell. I mat 'August' with the same turquoise card stock and adhered it to the card.

I also added some shimmer to the flip flops and the seashell. I wish it showed up better in the photos. So now I have three memory dex cards done!! Woo hoo! I think I'll do the Fall months using papers from the September 2020 FOTM Card Kit Orchards & Patches. I'll try to remember to share them in the Scrapping for Less: Show & Share group. Well, that's it for me this week! I'll see you next Friday for my sneak peek of the new October kit!! You are going to love love love it!!

Scrapping for Less ~ September 2020 Flavor of the Month Card Kit ~ Sneak Peek

Hello there crafty friend! Crystal here from Tawny Owl Paperie with the last sneak peek of the September 2020 FOTM Card Kit before the reveal and hop that starts at midnight tonight!! This Fall loving girl is in love with this kit!! It's so stinkin' cute and just perfect for all your Fall cardmaking needs!! Enough chit chat... let's get to the card I created!

So... if you have followed my creative card making journey at all, you may know about my obsession with teal trucks. lol... I love them so! It's really no surprise that I just had to frame this adorable paper and make it a feature of my card! I love it!

I layered the two beautiful papers from Collection Four and adhered a stitched scallop frame that I die cut from white card stock. I stamped the Hey There Pumpkin stamp with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored it in with my Copic markers. I used the following Copic markers:

'Hey There' ~ E23
'Pumpkin' ~ BG01, BG10, BG45, BG57
Pumpkin ~ YR15, YR21, YR27, YR68, E21, E23, E27

I fussy cut around the image and sentiment and then adhered it a white stitched oval. I then popped that up on the card and finished it off with a few enamel dots. You can check out my process video below...

I am just loving how this card turned out. It has me dreaming about cooler days with leaves changing colors and falling leaves. *sigh*  Do you love Fall too? Let me know in the comments what's your favorite part of the Fall season.

Don't forget about the reveal and hop tonight at midnight, but be sure to snatch up your card kit before then!! You do not want to miss out on this one!!

That's it for me this week! I'll see you in two weeks with an adorable set of cards using Collection Two from the card kit!

Scrapping for Less ~ Summer Daisies Paper Pad ~ Post It Note Holder

Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a fun swap that I made for fellow SFL design team member Stacy using the beautiful Summer Daisies paper pad that was recently released at Scrapping for Less. I combined the papers with some other products in my stash... let's have a look!

I started with a cereal box... yup! You read that right. I cut all of my pieces for the post it note holder from the cereal box first. Here's a link to the tutorial I used... Easy Note Pad Holder Book.
I used the cereal box in place of the chipboard coasters mentioned in the tutorial.

I covered the cereal box pieces with pretty polka dot papers from Stampin' Up and then used the gorgeous Summer Daisies from SFL to decorate and embellish the other pieces. The beautiful ribbon is from Papertrey Ink... seriously a mash up of products from my stash! The daisy is one of my digital stamps available at Polka Dot Orchard... called Whoops a Daisy. I printed it out, colored it with a few copic markers and then fussy cut it. I couldn't find quite the right sentiment, so I just printed this one off from my computer on card stock and fussy cut it.

The side view... I only had a couple post it note pads in coordinating colors.
This holder could hold a lot of post it notes!

The inside... isn't it cute?! I've had that mini pen from the Dollar Spot at Target for years... it works perfectly with this holder!

To clean up the edges of my patterned papers I used a sanding block that I've had in my stash forever. I believe it's from Stampin' Up as well.

That's it! It was so fun to create something to send off to a crafty friend!
I definitely need to make more of these!

Check out all the new fabulous paper pads recently released at SFL here... New Paper Pads!!
This paper hoarder has to have them all! Lol..

See ya next time.

Scrapping for Less ~ New Release!! ~ Summer Floaties

Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a super fun new release from Scrapping for Less... Summer Floaties stamp set and paper pad!! Oh my cuteness... this is such an adorable set and the papers coordinate perfectly!!

So... I've been on a bit of a Slimline kick! Lol... have you tried making one yet?! They are so fun!

I love that extra bit of space to create with! I used a fun sketch from over at the Poetic Artistry blog, the current Mojo Monday #540 sketch challenge. I did make my slimline card a little bigger than the one posted for the sketch... this one is the trendy size that measures 3-1/2 x 8-1/2".

Isn't she just the cutest?!
I had so much fun coloring her in this sweet little scene. I used the following Copic markers:

Skin / Glasses ~ E000, E01, E11, No, BV01, R00, R21
Hair ~ E34, E51, E97
Bikini / Hat ~ Y06, Y11, Y13, YG03, YG11, R14, R21, R32
Pineapple / Drink ~ Y06, E25, YG03, YG11, YG63, N0, R0000, R14, R21, R32, YR15, YR68
Umbrella / Blanket ~R00, R21, R32, C00, C1, B00, B02
Sand / Water / Sky ~ E25, E33, BG000, BG01, B0000, B000

I wanted to jazz up the sentiment so I thought a copic colored sun would be fun! I used Y000, Y11, Y06, and Y15.

A sweet summer time slimline card! I hope you like it!

I have a little process video showing the assembling of this card. I hope you'll check it out!

Hello Cardmakers! I hope you are doing well this morning. This month’s theme is all about encouragement. How about taking one of the words in the acronym above and making it your word for the coming month? My word is going to be motivation! Motivation to send out at least 3 cards a week to encourage someone. The design team and guest designers this month have created some absolutely fabulous designs with the card kit contents. Hop on through and take a look. One person I know who encourages people each and every day is Courtney Kreeber, she has helped design components of this month’s kit. Her group Handmade Happiness over on Facebook is all about encouraging each other. Who have you encouraged today? Check out this wonderful card kit centered around encouragement over on the Scrapping for Less website. Also check out the SFL blog post and make sure to enter the Rafflecopter. ~ Teresa, {SFL Owner}

If you are just starting hopping, we're so glad to have you join us!
The hop starts on the Scrapping for Less blog or you can start hopping right here.

Here's a quick look at the May 2020 Let's Encourage One Another card kit...

Such a darling kit!! I had so much fun creating cards to share with you today...
let's get to the cards!

Collection One: Love Big
How cute is that Big Foot Benny?! I love him! I stamped him with black ink and colored him up with Copic markers. I trimmed the striped paper and adhered it to a card front of Sour Apple card stock measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2". I die cut the polka dot paper with my largest circle die (approx. 3-3/4" in diameter) and adhered it to the card. To create the background, I blended some light green and blue inks over the cloud stencils included in the Banana Split subscription. I added the chalk heart sticker to the background and popped up the sentiment from the Benny the Bigfoot stamp set by SFL. I also popped up Benny using foam squares. To finish off this card, I added one of the Jolee's flowers over top of the little flower in the stamped Bigfoot image.

Supplies used (not found in the kit):
Copic markers ~ W00, W1, W3, E000, E00, R00, R14, YG11, YG23
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue
My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle STAX

Collection Two: Easy Peasy
As I mentioned yesterday in my Sneak Peek post, this collection is my absolute favorite!! The colors are gorgeous and that lemon, as well as the blossom, are so beautiful... not to mention the fabulous sentiments!! I can't get enough of this one!! Anywho... I just wanted to showcase the beautiful lemon for this card. I layered the pretty lemon slices with the strips of polka dot papers onto a 5 x 5" square white card base. I die cut the Lemon Drop and white card stocks with a couple of square dies from my stash. I adhered them together and then adhered them to the card. I then blended a bit of Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide ink (it's much lighter in person... not sure why it's so dark in the photo) in the top center portion of the white card stock. I colored the lemon with Copic markers, fussy cut it, and cleaned up the edges with a Memento Tuxedo black marker. I popped it up on the card with foam squares and then added a few of the enamel dots and tied a sweet bow with the yellow twine included in the collection. I love how this card turned out!

Supplies used (not found in the kit):
Copic markers ~ Y000, Y11, Y13, YG0000, YG11
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue
Newton's Nook Square dies

Collection Three: Weather Together
The third collection in the card kit has a fun scene building stamp set that I can't wait to play with more! For my card today, I just focused on the pretty papers included in the collection and kept this design CAS. I did have fun stamping and coloring the sun stamp. I stamped it with a mix of yellow inks and then I colored the center with Copic markers. I adhered the die cut sun to the edge of the patterned paper and then popped up the whole piece with foam squares. I stamped the sentiment and die cut it with a banner die. I trimmed it and adhered it to the card. To finish off this card, I added the the three enamel dots to the side.

Supplies used (not found in the kit):
Copic markers ~ Y000, Y11, Y13
Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue
Stampin' Up Round Corner punch
Newton's Nook Square dies (stitched circle die)
Lawn Fawn Everday Sentiment Banners dies

Collection Four: Little Lady
This card came together so fast!! I used four of the fabulous Little Lady Ephemera pieces to create this adorable and super quick card! And there are a whole bunch more pieces (as you can see in the background of my photo) to create a whole bunch more cards!! You may also recognize this card design from the current challenge in the Scrapping for Less: Show & Share Facebook group. I'm so happy to see it included in this month's sketches to download... check out the downloads here ---> May 2020 Sketch Sheet!

Supplies used (not found in the kit):
Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue
My Favorite Things Oval STAX Set 1

That's it for me this time! Your next stop on the hop is... Christine
