Pumpkin Spice Season ~ Miss Anya Coffee Break ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
I am so ready for Fall and all the pretty colors that come with it!! The temperatures are teasing of the upcoming cooler days and it can't come quick enough for me. In my continual effort of inking up stamps that haven't seen ink yet, I inked up one of the adorable Miss Anya's from Miss Anya Coffee Break.

I found this adorable stamp in my stash and she just needed to see some ink! Unfortunately, I can't seem to find Miss Anya Coffee Break on the website. But if you'd like to add her to your collection, you can check out thFarmers Market and submit a request via email... maybe she'll be available for the next Farmers Market. Fingers crossed!

I inked up the adorable Miss Anya with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her up with Copic markers. I fussy cut her on the line and then I used a Memento Tuxedo Black marker to color the edges of my fussy cutting. This makes the fussy cutting look nice and neat. I also stamped the stack of cups and later decided to add a pumpkin because I wanted to use a sentiment that was more fitting for Fall. I chose the super sweet Pumpkin Spice Season stamp set for the pumpkin and the sentiment. Unfortunately, this cute set is also not available right now. {Here's the >>> Farmers Market <<< link again just in case you want to submit a request for this one!} I colored up the pumpkin and fussy cut it and then I adhered Miss Anya to the pumpkin and added foam tape to the back of both of them. I also popped up the stack of cups and the sentiment using foam tape.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R00, R20
Hair: N0, N2, N4
Bow: YR20, YR15
Coat: C0, C2, YR20, YR15
Dress: YR20, YR15, YR68, R14, E21, E23
Boots: E21, E23
Cups: C0, C2, BG000, BG01, BG72, E000, E00
Pumpkin: YR20, YR15, YR68, E21, E23

I paired up Miss Anya Coffee Break with some fun plaid papers from my stash. Aren't they just wonderful for a Fall card?! Adding the mat in between my plaids separates them enough that they look nicely together. I cut my bottom layer to 4 x 5-1/4" and the top plaid layer measures 2-3/4 x 4-1/4". The white mat measures 3 x 4-1/2" and the brown strip across the card measures 4-1/4 x 1-1/4". All my layers are adhered to a dark brown A2 top fold card base measuring 4-1/4 x 11"; scored at 5-1/2".

Have you had a pumpkin spice drink yet? I haven't just yet but I did find some yummy pumpkin spice almonds. So good! I finished off the card by adding a few copper sequins from my stash. I sure hope I've inspired you to get inky!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Cozy Vibes Girl ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 3 of the Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I'm excited to share another holiday card that I've made to add to my Christmas stash! This time I played with an awesome digital stamp from our fabulous Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs. I love this fab girl and the great big coffee cup!! I could use one of those this morning! LOL!

This beautiful girl is from the Cozy Vibes Girl digital stamps. I used one of the printable sheets so there was no need to resize or combine anything. I just printed it off... easy peasy! I colored the images with Copic markers and used a ruler to get that line above her head just right. I fussy cut around the images leaving some white around the pom pom and hair, otherwise the rest is cut on the black line. I colored the edges of my fussy cutting on the line with a black marker so the cutting looks nice.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04
Hair: E21
Coat: E21, E25
Hat / Scarf / Gloves: BG10, BG01, BG23
Snowflake: B000, B00, B02
Cup: BV31, BV02
Lid: C0, C2, C3

Keeping with a wintry theme, I chose the Christmas Snow 6x6 Pattern Paper Pad from our NEW Sponsor Crafty Stamp Co. I wanted a pretty blue paper that would coordinate with the blue of the snowflake.

Inspiration for my card came from one of our past sketches... BYSHC Sketch 23. I love using the past sketches and changing them up a bit to fit my card is always fun too.

All of my background paper layers are adhered using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web. I added foam tape called iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white), also from Therm O Web, to the back of the main panel and popped it up on the card. And then I finished it off with a little confetti called Metallic Turquoise Card Bling from A Colorful Life Designs.

If you haven't already, stop by the Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! I have so many wonderful ideas for future cards! So inspiring! I hope you have an ink-redible day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 59 ~ Lovely Latte ~ Lawn Fawn

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a little inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 59 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a fun holiday card featuring a cute die and stamp from our fabulous Sponsor, Lawn Fawn.

I started with my background for this card. I pulled out my retired Perfectly Plaid Christmas 6x6 Paper Pack and trimmed the background layer to 4 x 5-1/4". The teal paper was a scrap. It measures 4 x 1-3/4". I adhered those layers to a red A2 top fold card base of Pure Poppy card stock from Papertrey Ink.

I die cut the pieces for the cup using the Lovely Latte dies. The face and handle were die cut from Pure Poppy card stock. The coffee was die cut from Kraft card stock from Papertrey Ink. The lighter part of the coffee, the inner (green) portion of the cup, and the face/cheeks were die cut from Stampers Select White card stock and I colored them with Copics.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Green: YG11, G24, G46
Coffee: E51
Cheeks: R00, R20
Kitty: R00, R20, YR20, YR15, N0, N2, N4
Bell: Y15, Y28
Eyes / Mouth: 100 (black)

I die cut a circle from vellum card stock using a die from the Large Cross-Stitched Circle Stackables dies. I adhered the cup to the vellum and then adhered the vellum to the card by only applying liquid glue behind the cup. I stamped the adorable kitty from the Say What? Holiday Critters. I colored her like my sweet Quinn and die cut her with the coordinating Say What? Holiday Critters dies. I popped her up on the card with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the Thanks a Latte stamp set. I trimmed it and adhered it directly to the card.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 59 for the month of July. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! The design team, as always, rocked this sketch!

Inky Paws Challenge #242 ~ Color Challenge {Week 1}

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new Inky Paws Challenge! We're playing with a fun mix of colors this month for a Color Challenge! I sure hope that you'll join us and play along with your Newton's Nook Designs products! Don't forget... our challenges are a whole month long so there's lots of time to play along! Yay! You have until Friday, August 1st to get your entries in for the #242 Color Challenge and a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!

Our beautiful colors are... Cotton Candy Pink, Orange Sherbet, Turquoise, and Royal Blue!! Love this pretty combination of colors!

I stamped the beautiful coffee themed heart from the Heartfelt Coffee Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored up all the coffee cups with Copic markers.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used for the kitty and heart:
White: C0, C2
Cotton Candy Pink: RV10, RV52
Orange Sherbet: YR20, YR15
Turquoise: BG000, BG01, BG05
Royal Blue: B02, B24, B28
Coffee: E21, E25
'BREW': RV10, RV52

I die cut the heart using a die from the Heart Frames Die Set, but the scrap of white card stock wasn't big enough. Poor planning on my part! LOL! So I trimmed around the stitching on the heart and adhered it to another heart that I die cut from another piece of white card stock.

I made a fun background using three of the colors and the Plaid Stencil Set. I blended
Kitsch Flamingo and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks over the first stencil in the set. And then I blended Broken China Distress Ink over the second stencil to finish off the pattern. I really like how it turned out. I popped up the heart and the sentiment using foam tape.

Now it's your turn to get your paws inky with your Newton's Nook Designs products and create a project using the color combo of Cotton Candy Pink, Orange Sherbet, Turquoise, and Royal Blue. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Can't wait to see your projects!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 31 ~ Caffeinated Girls ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm also sharing another card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 31 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I felt like playing with some digi stamps so I looked through my files and found the gorgeous Caffeinated Girls from Angie Blom Digital Designs. Love the images in this fab set!

I combined and resized a few different images and a sentiment from the Caffeinated Girls digital stamp set in a Word Document. I printed it off and started coloring. Sadly, I started coloring before I picked my papers so the greens in my coloring were a little off. Otherwise, it works really well with the papers I found in my stash.

Here's a list of the Copic Markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11
Hair: YR20, E34
Sweater: R00, R32, YG11, YG03, G99
Cup: C00, C2, BG10, BG72
Coffee Cup Background: C00, C2, E000, E21, E25, R00, R11, R12, R14, R21, R27, BG10, BG72, YG03, YG67

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 31. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I'd love for you to join in the fun and play with us in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group.

I paired up this girl with the Coffee paper pad from Echo Park Paper Co. I've had these papers forever! Mostly just scraps leftover now so it was perfect for this card and I love how the colors worked so well with my coloring.

I finished off this cute card with a few enamel dots from the coordinating Coffee enamel dots from Echo Park Paper Co. I just love how this turned out! I hope you can find time to play along with the sketch challenge. I can't wait to see what you create. Have an ink-tastic week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal

~ Friends of Unity March 2025 Blog Hop ~

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for our Friends of Unity Blog Hop!! This month's cue is one of my favorite things...!

... a fun SKETCH! And it's doubly fun because it's also a Sketch Challenge! The Friends of Unity are hosting a fun sketch challenge in the Unity Show & Tell. Wait. It get's better!! There's prizes!! Two $25 gift cards to Unity are up for grabs! All you have to do is make a card or project inspired by the Friends of Unity Sketch above and enter it into the ALBUM in the Unity Show & Tell. You can enter as many cards as you like! Yay! I can't wait to see what you all make!

I was inspired to pull out the Grit & Grace {paper pack} and I paired it up with the gorgeous lilies from the Lily Notes stamps. On a side note, this gorgeous stamp is also available as a bundle with a fab stencil... Lily Notes {stamp & stencil bundle}.

I pulled out three different pattern papers from the Grit & Grace {paper pack}. I adhered my bottom layer to a Kraft A2 top fold card base. Next I trimmed a piece of Kraft card stock down to 4 x 5-1/4". I trimmed my lightest pattern paper to 3-3/4 x 5" and mat it with the Kraft layer. And then I trimmed my top layer of pattern paper to 3-1/4 x 4-1/2".

I stamped the lilies next. I actually stamped them twice though that probably wasn't necessary. I stamped them on white card stock and die cut them using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I then colored the other ones using the following Copic markers: RV10, RV02, R14, Y15, YG11, YG03. I fussy cut the lilies and colored the edges of the cutting with a black marker. I then adhered them to the circle layer. I stamped and fussy cut the sentiment. I added foam tape to the back of both and popped them up on the card. And then I finished it off with a few black enamel dots.

My second card is very simple. I wanted to play with one of the Coffee To-Go Ephemera pieces. I fussy cut it leaving a thin white border around the edges. And then I got stuck... LOL! I had to go looking through my papers to find something that would work with these colors.

The colors in the Pretty Polka's {paper pack} coordinate very nicely with the colors in this cup. So I trimmed the pink paper down to 5-1/4 x 4" and adhered it to a Kraft A2 top fold card base that I turned on the side for a landscape card. I was going to just cut the green paper like I did for the first card, but got to thinking I could use a die. So I pulled out the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} and die cut the paper. My Kraft mat for this layer measures 4-1/4 x 3-1/8". I wrapped the layer with {Ivory} May Arts Burlap String and then popped up the green layer with foam tape.

I also popped up the cup on this card... this one probably won't be going in the mail! LOL! I heat embossed the sentiment using white pigment ink, white embossing powder and a Wagner Precision Heat Tool. Such a simple, but lovely card. I kept going back and forth on adding something to the sleeve on the cup. What do you think? Maybe I'll add a heart? I don't know.

Now before we get to the hopping, I chose a lucky winner from the comments on last month's hop to win a fun prize and the lucky winner is...

Fun With Stencils ~ A Colorful Life Designs ~ Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello there crafty friend! Crystal here from Tawny Owl Paperie and I'm sharing my last post as a guest designer for the Coffee Loving Papercrafters. I've had a lot of fun sharing with you all! I hope you've enjoyed the coffee inspiration I've shared.

Today I'm sharing a fun stenciled card featuring three fabulous stencils from A Colorful Life Designs. I used the fab Fractured Beams Stencil for my background. I blended Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Abandoned Coral Distress Inks over the sun rays once and then again after shifting the stencil.

I blended over the cute cup from the Love Language Stencil on a separate piece of white card stock using Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink. I fussy cut the cup and adhered it to the panel. I blended Abandoned Coral and Candied Apple Distress Inks over the cute little heart on a scrap of white card stock. I fussy cut that leaving a white border and adhered it to the cup.

I then ink blended Black Soot Distress Ink over a fun sentiment from the Snarky Coffee Stencil. I trimmed the panel and realized that I had messed up the bottom left corner at some point so I just chopped it off. I adhered the panel to a black A2 card base and added six confetti pieces from the Metallic Orange Card Bling pack, also from A Colorful Life Designs.

The ideas starting revving once I got started so I made a couple more cards. I blended lightly with Vintage Photo Distress Ink over the Mmmm portion of the Mmm Coffee Stencil. And then I blended with Ground Espresso Distress Ink over the 'Coffee'.

I added the little heart from the Coffee Pot Stencil using Candied Apple Distress Ink. A fun CAS card on Kraft card stock.

I had an idea for the Coffee Pot Stencil so I ran with it. I blended the coffee pot with Black Soot Distress Ink. And without adding ink to my blending brush, I blended the steam lightly with the same brush. I blended Vintage Photo Distress Ink for the coffee. I left the coffee pot stencil in place and laid the Mmm Coffee Stencil over top and blended Ground Espresso Distress Ink over the Mmmm. I removed the coffee pot stencil and masked the Mmm coffee stencil and then blended the 'Coffee'. And I just had to blend another heart with Candied Apple Distress Ink.

I trimmed up the panel and adhered it to a black A2 top fold card base. These were such fun cards to make! I hope you've enjoyed the cards I've shared today and throughout the month. Have a wonderful weekend crafty friends!

Curlers & Catitude Pissy Kitty ~ Unity Stamp Co. ~ Coffee Loving Papercrafters

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm so excited to share another fun coffee themed card as a guest designer for Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Today I'm sharing a sassy kitty card featuring the adorably snarky Curlers & Catitude Pissy Kitty. I absolutely adore this kitty stamp from Unity Stamp Co.

I stamped the kitty with Black Amalgam ink from Gina K. Designs and colored her up with Copic markers. Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used to color up the kitty:
Kitty: YR21, YR15, N0, N2, N4, C00, R00, R20
Eyes: YG11, G14, C00, C2
Curlers: BG10, BG01, BG72
Mug: R000, R83, R37, E21

I paired up the snarky kitty with the Perk Me Up {paper pack} also from Unity. It has a fun vintage vibe that I love! I die cut the kitty and distressed the edges with a bit of Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso Distress Ink.

I stamped, trimmed and also distressed the edges of the sentiment. I adhered it to the bottom of the die cut circle and popped them both up with foam tape. Lots of fun to make this one! Hope you've been inspired to get inky this weekend with some caffeine themed goodies!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky hugs,

Coffee for All Seasons ~ Not 2 Shabby ~ Coffee Loving Papercrafters

 Hello there crafty friend!
I’m back as a guest designer for the month of February for the Coffee Loving Papercrafters!

Today I'm sharing a set of caffeinated seasonal cards that I created using awesome papers and fun ephemera from Not 2 Shabby. I am a huge fan of Not 2 Shabby's papers and coordinating ephemera. I have oodles and oodles and was happy to finally play with some of my stash.

First up is a lovely Valentine's Day card I created using the Lattes of Love 6x6 Paper Pad and the coordinating Lattes of Love Ephemera. I used all kinds of papers from the pack for all of my layers even the mats for my panels. And I used five different ephemera pieces for my focal piece.

Up next is a wonderful card for Summer... I used the gorgeous Make It Iced 6x6 Paper Pad and coordinating Make It Iced Ephemera. So many fab girls and summer drinks in this one! Love it! I used three pieces of ephemera for the focal image for this one and then a sentiment I added near the bottom of the card.

My third card features one of my favorite paper pad and ephemera pairings... the gorgeous Give Thanks 6x6 Paper Pad and coordinating Give Thanks ephemera. I love the beautiful pumpkins in these papers. I used three ephemera pieces for this one.

My card design was inspired by one of my favorite sketch from the {BYSHC} group... {BYSHC} Sketch 7. Lots of fun layers and endless possibilities! All of my measurements are directly from the sketch.

Lastly, I just had to share a Christmas card. I love making them all year long! I used the adorable Brewing It Up 6x6 Paper Pad along with the Brewing It Up Ephemera. I used just two ephemera pieces for my focal image and then I fussy cut the sentiment from a third ephemera piece. So cute and so much fun to make! I hope you've been inspired to get crafty with some coffee papers and ephemera in your stash.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky hugs,
Crystal

Coffee is Better ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs ~ Coffee Loving Papercrafters

Hello crafty friends!
I’m super excited to be guest designing for the month of February for the Coffee Loving Papercrafters!

Today I'm sharing a fun mixed media card featuring digi stamps from Angie Blom Digital Designs. I combined and resized the frame and coffee cup from the Vintage Frames and Coffee is Better Digital Stamp Sets in a Word Document.

Printed them off on white card stock and colored them up with my Copic markers.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Frame: BG000, BG01, BG72, E50, E30, E35
Cup: E50, E21, E23, E25, BG000, BG01, BG72, R20, R14
Red Background: R00, R20, R14

I ink smooshed a fun background panel using Vintage Photo and Ground Espresso Distress Inks leaving some white space on the panel. I also spattered some Ground Espresso Distress Ink from the leftover ink on my desk. I adhered the panel to an A2 card base of dark brown card stock.

I popped up the sentiment, cup and the vintage frame using foam tape. Lots of fun dimension for this card. So much fun to make! I hope you've been inspired to get inky with your coffee stamps!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky hugs,
