Emoji Couple ~ Preview Day 1 ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's the first day of previews at The Greeting Farm for the awesome August release! Three super sweet and adorable stamp sets releasing this month!! So fun! Be sure to check out The Greeting Farm blog each day this week! The previews start today with EMOJI COUPLE! An adorable set with Anya, Ian and a bunch of fun emojis!

I stamped Anya and all the fun emojis with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored the images up with Copic Markers. I fussy cut them all on the line and colored the edges of the fussy cutting with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker making the fussy cutting all nice and neat.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04, R00, R20
Hair: E33, E35, E37
Headphones: RV10, RV02, RV14, C2, C3, C5
Shirt: Y11, Y15
Jacket: B000, B91, B93, B95, R20, R14, R27
Bag: BG000, BG01, BG34
Shorts: C0, C2
Shoes: B000, B93, B95, C0, C2
Phone: C0, C2, C3, C5
Emojis: Y11, Y15, R20, R14, R27, C2, C3, C5, B000, B02

I paired up these adorable stamps with some pretty papers from my stash called Let's Get Crafty 6x8 Paper Pad from Simple Stories. I used scraps from the paper pad and trimmed them down to 3-3/4 x 1". I adhered them directly to a white A2 top fold card base.

Inspiration for my card comes from the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 34. This has been a fun sketch to play with. I invite you to join us over at the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group and play along with the sketch. There's just under two weeks to get entries in for this fun sketch challenge.

I adhered cute Anya and all the emojis to the card and then stamped a sentiment from the Perk Up stamp set that I think works really nicely with this set of stamps. I'm not seeing the Perk Up set on the website, but if you'd like to add it to your collection, you can check out thFarmers Market and submit a request via email... maybe it'll be available for the next Farmers Market. Fingers crossed! I trimmed up the sentiment and popped it up on the card with foam tape.

This darling new Anya with the cute emojis {and sweet Ian, of course} release in the store on the 15th at 12am EST. Come back tomorrow for preview day 2.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

 Hello there crafty friend!
I've been out of town visiting my dearest and best friends so I thought I'd share a fun review of the cards I've made for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 34 Extended so far since I didn't get a chance to make another card. You can click on each of the links below the cards for more information.

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 34 Extended ~ Spectrum Gardenia ~ 49 and Market

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's been a busy summer and I'm having so much fun with TOPII Sketch 34 that I've decided to extend this challenge for a few extra weeks. Today I'm sharing more inspiration for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 34 Extended in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. Absolutely no stamping or coloring for this card!

I used papers from the Spectrum Gardenia 12 x 12 Collection from 49 and Market. The white distressed background paper measures 5-1/2 x 4-1/4". The orange strips measure 3/4 x

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 34 Extended. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I turned the sketch today and moved the sentiment.

And the cluster of ephemera is from the coordinating Spectrum Gardenia Ephemera Bits pack. I wrote 'Love' on the tab and stapled it to the ephemera using the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Tiny Attacher Mini Stapler. The sentiment is adhered directly to the ephemera piece and the butterfly was popped up with foam tape.

I adhered the four orange strips to the card and popped up the large ephemera piece with foam tape. I'm having a blast with this sketch! Now there's more time to play along... I hope you'll join in the fun! Have an ink-tastic week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Release Day Blog Hop ~ Flowers Anya ~ The Greeting Farm

The July 2025 New Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new stamp sets. In our first set called FLOWERS ANYA, Anya and her two sweet puppies are wishing you a day full of flowers. Our next set FELIX THE FOX has 3 adorable fox images and all the elements to create an fabulous scene. Lastly, we introduced two big Anya's ready to send your recipient love and well wishes from the MISS ANYA WITH LOVE set.

These pups from the Flowers Anya stamp set are just THE cutest!! I created a little scene for them using die cut pattern papers for my grass. I used scraps of pattern paper for my background. They all measure 1/2" or less in width and I trimmed them all to 3-3/4" long.

I stamped the adorable puppies, hat, flower pot and bone using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them up with Copic markers. I fussy cut all of the images on the line and colored the edges with a black marker to make the fussy cutting nice and neat.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Dogs: E30, E21, E25, N2, N4, N6
Hat: Y11, Y15, E31, RV10, RV02, YG11, G94
Bone: C0, C2, R20, R14
Flowers: R20, R14, B00, B93, B97, YG11, G94
Barrel: E21, E57, E59, N2, N4, N6
Flower Pot / Flower: E57, E59, YG11, G94, R20, R14
Sky: B0000, B000

Inspiration for my card comes from the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 34. I host a fun sketch challenge in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group each month. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I adjusted my take on the sketch by turning the paper scraps and my oval focal panel. I'd love for you to join in the fun and play along with the sketch!

I popped up the oval scene using foam tape. I messed up the sentiment when I stamped it on the card. Oopsies... it happens! So I stamped the sentiment on a scrap, trimmed it and popped it up on the card with foam tape. Not exactly what I planned but it still works!

Membership Wednesday ~ May 2025 KOM Slow Down & Savor ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a card featuring a beautiful stamp from the May 2025 Kit of the Month membership from Unity called Slow Down & Savor.

I stamped the pretty flowers with Black Amalgam ink and colored it up with some Copic markers. Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Flowers: Y11, Y15, YR23, RV10, RV02, RV04, V12, V15

Pink Pot: RV10, RV02, RV04
Tea Cup: BG10, BG01, R20, R14
Brown Pot: E21, E23, E25

I die cut the panel with a square die from the Scallops & Squares {nesting dies}. I wanted to use the Woven Texture Embossing Folder that I got from Unity a bit ago.

I ran some Kraft card stock through my Big Shot with the embossing folder. I trimmed it to 4 x 5-1/4" and adhered it to a Kraft A2 top fold card base. I popped up the panel using foam tape. And then I finished off the card with a few glitter enamel dots.

Here's a quick look at this month's Kit of the Month membership!

Release Day Blog Hop ~ Bee Happy ~ The Greeting Farm

The April 2025 New Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new stamp sets. Our first set called BOBA PANDAS features 4 adorable Pandas enjoying the outdoors with their favorite Boba tea. Next, our favorite girl has resumed her travels and this month we have ANYA IN INDIA. Lastly, we showcased the cutest, chubbiest bees in a set called BEE HAPPY.

I couldn't BEE more happy than to share another card featuring the absolutely adorable bees and flowers from Bee Happy! I just adore these cuties! I stamped the flowers and bees on white card stock and colored them up with Copic markers. I fussy cut them leaving a white border around the edge - just like a die cut would. I adhered the flowers to the hexagon layer and popped up the bees with a little foam tape. And then I stamped the little bees swirly line directly on the pattern paper.

The yellow gingham pattern paper is die cut with a hexagon scalloped die. I covered an A2 card base with the black and white pattern paper from the same pack. The sentiment was stamped, trimmed and adhered to the hexagon. And then I popped up the hexagon focal piece and the sentiment onto the card with lots of foam tape.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Bees: C00, C2, C4, C9, Y11, Y15
Flowers: BG10, BG01, BG15, Y15
Leaves: YG11, G02

Inky Paws Challenge #239 ~ Color Challenge {Week 2}

Hello there crafty friend!
It's week two of the Inky Paws Color Challenge! We're playing with a fun mix of colors this month for a Color Challenge! I sure hope that you'll join us and play along with your Newton's Nook Designs products! You have until Friday, May 2nd to get your entries in for the #239 Color Challenge and a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!

Our lovely colors are... Dusty Violet, Spring Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Cocoa Brown!! This beautiful color combo is perfect for spring cards and more! Create a garden scene, try adding the colors to a birthday card or mix in a pet with brown fur!

I was inspired to make another Spring card. This time I inked up the beautiful Spring Haul Stamp Set. This is one of my favorite stamps! I die cut the truck using the coordinating Spring Haul Die Set.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Truck: YG11, YG03, YG63, E30, E33
Lights: R20, R14, R27
Tires: N0, N2, N4
Bumper: C00, C1
Daffodils: Y11, Y15, YG11, YG03, YG63
Tulips: V000, V12, V15, YG11, YG03, YG63
Daisies: C00, C1, Y11, Y15, YG11, YG03, YG63
Pots: E30, E33
Watering Can: N0, N2, N4
Blanket: Y11, Y15, V000, V12, V15

Inspiration for my card comes from the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 31. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I'd love for you to join in the fun over at the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group.

I paired up the cute truck with the Pastel Basics 6x6 Paper Pad. I am loving the Spring colors in this paper pad! I cut the pattern papers to the measurements in the sketch and adhered them to a Kraft A2 top fold card base.

I wanted a layer between the truck and the pattern papers so I die cut a circle using a die from the Circle Frames Die Set. I heat embossed the sentiment with my favorite white embossing combo... I prepped the card stock with TE Anti Static Powder from Taylored Expression, stamped with Sugar Cube Pigment Ink from Taylored Expressions, Alabaster White Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe, and I melted it with a Wagner Precision Heat Tool. I popped up the truck with foam tape to finish off the card.

Now it's your turn to get your paws inky with your Newton's Nook Designs products and create a project using the color combo of Dusty Violet, Spring Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Cocoa Brown. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Can't wait to see your projects!

Bee Happy ~ Preview Day 3 ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's the final day of previews at The Greeting Farm for the April release! Introducing Bee Happy... oh. my. cuteness! These bees and all the pretty flowers are just too darn cute.

I stamped the bees and flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them up with Copic markers. I fussy cut each of the images leaving a white border - almost like they were die cut.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Bees: Y11, Y15, YR23, N0, N2, N4, BG10, BG01, BG15
Pink Flowers: RV10, RV02, RV04
Blue Flowers: BG10, BG01, BG15, Y11, Y15
Stems / Leaves: YG11, G94, G99

I paired up these sweet bees and flowers with the Simple Vintage Lemon Twist 6x8 paper pad from Simple Stories. This is a 6-1/2 x 7" mini slimline card base, scored at 3-1/2". My paper layers are: black with polka dots - 6-1/2 x 3-1/2"; Yellow distressed - 6-5/16 x 3-5/16" ; and the die cut is 6-3/16 x 3-3/16" approximately.

The white panel is die cut with the largest die from the X Stitched Mini Slimline Die from Gina Marie Designs. I popped up the white panel with foam tape avoiding the negative hexagon space. The hexagons are all cut using the Hexagon Frames Die Set from Newton's Nook Designs. The two on the right side are die cut from the white panel giving me the negative space to build around. The larger hexagon on the left is die cut from the pretty papers and it's popped up with foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment directly on the white panel. All of the adorable bees are popped up on the card with foam tape. Too fun! The release goes live in the store on the 15th at 12am EST! Woohoo! Bee sure to come back tomorrow for the release Blog Hop!! One lucky winner will receive a $50 gift card to The Greeting Farm. All you have to do is comment on the hop! Yay!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal

You Are My Sunshine ~ Preview Day 2 ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 2 of previews at The Greeting Farm for the March release. Oh. My. Cuteness... all the critters in the You Are My Sunshine stamp set are just too cute for words!!

I created a sweet little scene on a slimline card with some fun layers. I used the Slim Line Cloud Coverage Stencil from Picket Fence along with the Hills & Grass Stencil from Newton's Nook Designs. And I used Tumbled Glass & Mowed Lawn Distress Inks to blend over those stencils.

I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them up with Copic Markers. I used a bunch of markers so the list is a bit long this time:
Bird: B000, B00, Y11, Y15, YR15
Deer: R00, R20, E21, E51, E23, E25
Daisy Garland: C00, C2, Y11, Y15
Bunny: C00, C2, R00, R20
Bear: R00, R20, E51, E33, E35, E37, N2, N4, N6
Bear's Flower Crown: YG11, YG03, YG63, R11, R22, V000, V12, V15, Y11, Y15
Fox: E51, E95, E97, E09, N2, N6
Flowers: Y11, Y15, YR15, V000, V12, R00, R11, B000, B00

I die cut the stenciled layers using dies from the Scalloped Card Panels Die from Trinity Stamps. I fussy cut all the critters and flowers and then colored the edges of my fussy cutting with a black marker.

I adhered the layers to a slimline card measuring 7 x 8-1/2"; scored at 3-1/2". And then I adhered all the critters and flowers to the card. To finish it off, I stamped the sentiment directly onto the card. This was so fun to make! I enjoyed coloring all the critters and flowers for the scene. The release goes live in the store on the 15th at 12am EST.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky Hugs,
Crystal
