Release Day Blog Hop ~ Maddox the Dog ~ The Greeting Farm

The August 2025 New Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new stamp sets. EMOJI COUPLE is an extra fun set featuring a studious Anya and Ian, along with Emoji signs so you can personalize your projects with feelings. Next, we showcased MADDOX THE DOG which comes with a studious pup carrying a stack of books, a helpful dog holding a letter, and a cheerful standing canine full of charm. Lastly, we are ready to celebrate in style with BIRTHDAY GIRL ANYA, who is dressed in a beautiful 2-tier ruffle dress with flowers in her hair ready to bring a graceful touch to all your birthday cards.

I am LOVING the cute pups from the MADDOX THE DOG stamp set... just THE cutest!! I made a simple card with the standing pup and the single flower.

I stamped the adorable pup and flower using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them up with Copic markers. I fussy cut the pup on the line and colored the edges with a black marker to make the fussy cutting nice and neat. I fussy cut the flower leaving a white border. I've found this to work better with images that have just a single line.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Dog: C0, C2, C3, C5, N2, N4, N6
Shirt Y11, Y15, Y38
Flower: R20, R14, R27, YG11, G07

I paired up the pup with some fun papers from my stash called Magic and Wonder 6x6 Paper Pad from Echo Park Paper Co. I kept my card simple with an easy past sketch from Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration.

To celebrate this release we are having a short BLOG HOP! One lucky fan will win a $50.00 Gift Certificate to The Greeting Farm Store!! Maddox the Dog ~ Preview Day 2 ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 2 of previews at The Greeting Farm for the August release. MADDOX THE DOG is probably the cutest set of pup stamps and the accessory stamps are just too much fun! I am in love!

I inked up just the one pup for my card, but I used a bunch of the other stamps in the set. I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them up with Copic markers.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Dog: N0, N2, N4, N6, C0, C2, R00, R20
Shirt: R12, R22, R05
Mailbox: YR20, YR23, BG000, BG34, E11, E25
Package: E11, E25
Envelopes: C0, C2
Grass / Leaves: BG000, BG34
Flowers: Y11, Y06, Y15, Y28, Y38
Mouse: N0, N2, N4, N6, R00, R20

I paired up the cute pup and my simple scene with the I'd Rather Be Crafting 6x6 Paper Pad from Echo Park Paper Co. I used the pattern papers for all of my layers. Including the fun envelope that I created for my background. The base of the envelope measures 4-1/2 x 3-1/4". The green bottom flap measured 4-1/2 x 2-1/8" and then I trimmed the center to the bottom corners making a triangle. I did the same thing with the top flap, only I used a corner rounder punch for the point.

I fussy cut all of the colored images and colored the edges with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker. I adhered all the images on the bottom of the envelope creating a bit of a scene. I popped up the trimmed sentiment using foam tape. And then I finished off the card with a few white enamel dots from my stash.

Such a fun card to make! Be sure to stop by the TGF blog to see all the makes from the design team. The release goes live in the store on the 15th at 12am EST.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Inky Hugs,
Crystal

Release Day Blog Hop ~ Flowers Anya ~ The Greeting Farm

The July 2025 New Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new stamp sets. In our first set called FLOWERS ANYA, Anya and her two sweet puppies are wishing you a day full of flowers. Our next set FELIX THE FOX has 3 adorable fox images and all the elements to create an fabulous scene. Lastly, we introduced two big Anya's ready to send your recipient love and well wishes from the MISS ANYA WITH LOVE set.

These pups from the Flowers Anya stamp set are just THE cutest!! I created a little scene for them using die cut pattern papers for my grass. I used scraps of pattern paper for my background. They all measure 1/2" or less in width and I trimmed them all to 3-3/4" long.

I stamped the adorable puppies, hat, flower pot and bone using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them up with Copic markers. I fussy cut all of the images on the line and colored the edges with a black marker to make the fussy cutting nice and neat.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Dogs: E30, E21, E25, N2, N4, N6
Hat: Y11, Y15, E31, RV10, RV02, YG11, G94
Bone: C0, C2, R20, R14
Flowers: R20, R14, B00, B93, B97, YG11, G94
Barrel: E21, E57, E59, N2, N4, N6
Flower Pot / Flower: E57, E59, YG11, G94, R20, R14
Sky: B0000, B000

Inspiration for my card comes from the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 34. I host a fun sketch challenge in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group each month. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I adjusted my take on the sketch by turning the paper scraps and my oval focal panel. I'd love for you to join in the fun and play along with the sketch!

I popped up the oval scene using foam tape. I messed up the sentiment when I stamped it on the card. Oopsies... it happens! So I stamped the sentiment on a scrap, trimmed it and popped it up on the card with foam tape. Not exactly what I planned but it still works!

To celebrate this release we are having a short BLOG HOP! One lucky fan will win a $50.00 Gift Certificate to The Greeting Farm Store!!  Hello there crafty friend!
It is time for a brand new sketch challenge! Woohoo! Today I'm sharing my first card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 32 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I inked up the wonderful Mazie

Isn't she just the sweetest?! Love, love, love. I stamped the adorable pup and sentiment with Amalgam Black ink on Stampers Select White card stock and colored her up with Copic Markers. Here's a list of the Copic Markers I used: pup - C00, C1, E30, E33; heart - R20, R14, R27.

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 32. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. If you'd like to see another card I made that actually inspired this sketch, you can check it out here... kitty birthday card.

~ Friends of Unity April 2025 Blog Hop ~

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for our Friends of Unity Blog Hop!! This month's cue is a whole bunch of fun... Use All Scraps!

As you may know, I've been trying to use up my scrap papers in an effort to make room for new papers that I've already bought. LOL! It's been a huge task and I'm making very slow progress. But I'm loving this month's cue because I have lots of scraps and bits to use.

First up is a fun birthday card I created with scraps I had in my bin. I had stamped this background using sentiments from the Cheers & Confetti stamps. I had already die cut it using the largest die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}.

It was just plain black & white so I thought I'd jazz it up and ink smooshed it with Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks. I dried it completely with a heat tool and adhered it to a black A2 top fold card base.

I also had the puppy panel in my bin. I had stamped the sentiment along with the pup from the Pawsome Peepers with Black Amalgam ink. I left the panel black and white but I did add some shadow to the pup with Copic markers: C00 and C2. Love how quick this 'scrap bin' card came together!

Next up is a card inspired by my favorite Disney princess... Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I recently re-watched the live action version of this movie. I just love it! I was tickled to find this panel in my bin so I colored it up with Copic markers and made it into a card. This gorgeous stamp is called Enchanted Petals.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Greens: YG11, YG03, G94
Yellows: Y11, Y15
Blues: B0000, B000, B00, B02
Reds: R20, R14, R27

The panel was already die cut using a die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}. I trimmed up the sentiment and adhered it across the panel. And then I wrapped the panel with three strands of black burlap string and I tied a pretty bow. I covered the back of the panel with foam tape leaving a little space for the string. And then I popped it up on a black A2 top fold card base. So enchanting!!

My third card features a fun ink smooshed background that I made awhile ago. I'm actually not sure what colors I used for it. I usually write the colors on the back if I don't use the panel but I didn't for this one. My guess would be Twisted Citron, Black Soot and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks on a piece of Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Card Stock.

I love the textures in the watercolor card stock. The background is spattered with white acrylic paint that I thinned out a tiny bit with a spritz of water. I purposely chose a busy background to pair up with this fun bee and sentiment from the new Furious Farmyard

I colored the bee with YG21 and Y06. I die cut the bee and a mat using plain circle dies from my stash. I trimmed the sentiment and added foam tape to the sentiment and circle and popped them both up on the card. Do you have any fun backgrounds in your scraps stash? Pull it out and use it for a fun card! Double Dare You!! LOL!

I just HAD to play with more critters from the Furious Farmyard stamps for my last card!! I love all of their hilarious faces! I stamped the chicken, pig and cow and colored them up with my Copic markers.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Chicken: E21, E23, E25, YR15, YR27, R20, R14, C00, C2
Pig: RV10, RV11, R00, R20, C00, C2
Cow: C00, C2, C3, R00, R20, E51
Ground: YG91, YG63
Sky: B0000, B00

My scraps for this card were the fun papers and the ribbon. The gingham paper is from Barnyard Bouquet {paper pack}. I had die cut it using the largest die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}. The background paper is from the Jubilant Tapestry {paper pack}. The colors in these papers work so nicely together! It was like it was meant to be and this whole time they were sitting together in my scraps. Score!

I die cut the Furious Farmyard critters using a die from the Make a Tag {die set}. There was a scrap of pattern paper in the Jubilant Tapestry {paper pack} that was die cut using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I trimmed the circle and folded it over the top of the tag adhering it with glue. I popped up the focal tag panel on the card with foam tape and finished it off with a pretty bow from my scraps. This was such a fun card to make! I hope you're inspired to pull out some scraps and make a sweet card or two, or three. LOL!

Now before we get to the hopping, I chose a lucky winner from the comments on last month's hop to win a fun prize and the lucky winner is...

Inky Paws Challenge 238 ~ Showers & Flowers Theme Challenge {Week 4}

Hello there crafty friend!
There's just a few more days to play along with the Inky Paws Challenge #238 - Showers & Flowers Theme Challenge! You have until this coming Friday, March 28th to get your entries in for the challenge and a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!

This has been such a fun challenge! I hope you have a chance to play along with us if you haven't already! There's just a few days left to play!

I adore the sweet doxie from the Rainy Day Doxie Stamp Set so I just had to ink him up again. I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him up with Copic markers. I then die cut the image using the coordinating Rainy Day Doxie Die Set.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Doxie: E21, E13, E17, N2, N4, N6
Jacket: Y11, Y15, B0000, B00
Umbrella: V000, V01, V12, C00, C2, C3

I paired up the sweet pup with the Spring Blooms 6x6 Paper Pad. Daisies are my favorite flowers! So I thought it would be fun to use a couple daisy papers from the paper pad to create my card.

I die cut the background paper using the largest die from the Frames & Flags Die Set. I then die cut the daisy scene paper using a square die from the Frames Squared Die Set. I had originally chosen the yellow pattern paper with daisies for my strip across the card, but I think it was too much daisies. If that's even possible! LOL! So I changed it out with the gingham yellow papers which just happened to be a scrap in my paper pad. I added some dimension to the card by popping up the square focal image with the sentiment adhered to the bottom corner AND popping up the pup, all with foam tape.

Now it's your turn to get your paws inky with your Newton's Nook Designs products and create a project using the fun sketch. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Can't wait to see your projects!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 30 ~ Douglas ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing one last card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 30 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I inked up the super cute Douglas stamp from Unity. This cutie is one of the fun Rescue Tales stamps. Unity is donating 10% of every purchase from the Rescue Tales collection to animal welfare causes throughout the year.

Isn't he just darling?! I stamped the cute pup and sentiment with Amalgam Black ink and colored up the puppy with a few Copic markers: E51, E23, E25, and E27.

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 30. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. The challenge ends on Monday, March 24th.

I paired up cute Douglas with the Oh Hey! It's Your Day! {paper pack}. Loving these new birthday papers!

I die cut a piece of vellum card stock with a circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I also die cut one of the pattern papers using a slightly smaller die from the same set. I added a few red enamel dots from my stash to finish off the card. I just love how this card turned out! There's just six days left to play along with the sketch challenge! Have an ink-tastic week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 30 ~ Bella ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a brand new sketch challenge! Woohoo! Today I'm sharing my first card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 30 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I inked up the adorable Bella... one of the new Rescue Tales from Unity!

She reminds me of my MIL's sweet Mimi. Both my MIL and Mimi have passed but I cherish those memories, you know? Anywho, I stamped the sweet pup with Amalgam Black ink and colored her up with just a handful of Copic Markers: R00, R20, E51, E53, C00, C2, and Colorless Blender.

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 30. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it.

I paired up sweet Bella with the Timeworn Paws Anthology {paper pack}. I used scraps for my background and just adhered them to a Kraft A2 top fold card base. I die cut the polka dot paper using a die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}. Bella needed a layer between her and the background so I die cut a circle from Kraft card stock using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}

I stamped the sentiment on a long strip of card stock. I distressed it just a little bit to tone down the bright white and then I adhered it to the card. I finished off the card with a few black enamel dots. Such a fun sketch! I hope you can find time to play along during the next four weeks! I can't wait to see what you create. Have an ink-tastic week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.
