Release Day Blog Hop ~ Maddox the Dog ~ The Greeting Farm

The August 2025 New Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new stamp sets. EMOJI COUPLE is an extra fun set featuring a studious Anya and Ian, along with Emoji signs so you can personalize your projects with feelings. Next, we showcased MADDOX THE DOG which comes with a studious pup carrying a stack of books, a helpful dog holding a letter, and a cheerful standing canine full of charm. Lastly, we are ready to celebrate in style with BIRTHDAY GIRL ANYA, who is dressed in a beautiful 2-tier ruffle dress with flowers in her hair ready to bring a graceful touch to all your birthday cards.

I am LOVING the cute pups from the MADDOX THE DOG stamp set... just THE cutest!! I made a simple card with the standing pup and the single flower.

I stamped the adorable pup and flower using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them up with Copic markers. I fussy cut the pup on the line and colored the edges with a black marker to make the fussy cutting nice and neat. I fussy cut the flower leaving a white border. I've found this to work better with images that have just a single line.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Dog: C0, C2, C3, C5, N2, N4, N6
Shirt Y11, Y15, Y38
Flower: R20, R14, R27, YG11, G07

I paired up the pup with some fun papers from my stash called Magic and Wonder 6x6 Paper Pad from Echo Park Paper Co. I kept my card simple with an easy past sketch from Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration.

There are 27 different sketches to inspire us to create this month! Here's a look at six of them. I was inspired by the one on the top far right... Sketch 3.

A closer look at Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 3! I love this sketch! It's so fun to use with scraps. Stop by the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group to check out the challenge and see all the inspiration for each of the sketches. Maybe you'll be inspired to play along with us!

I die cut the stack of books with the smallest die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. Popped up the circle with foam tape.

I paired up the books and coffee cup with the Perk Me Up {paper pack}The pretty sentiment is from the Coffee is Not Enough stamps. I heat embossed it with my usual combo of  products: TE Anti-Static Powder Tool, Sugar Cube Pigment Ink from Taylored Expressions, Alabaster White Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe, and a Wagner Precision Heat Tool.

I'll be back tomorrow for Day 18 of the 2024 Advent Calendar from Unity!
Have an inkredible day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Fall is in the Air ~ September Collab with Fresh and Renewed with Teresa ~ Fall Sunshine ~ Not 2 Shabby

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm so excited! Today I'm starting a fun Collab with my sweet friend Teresa from Fresh and Renewed with Teresa. We will be sharing a Fall card or cards each Wednesday in September.

I actually have two cards to share today using the beautiful Fall Sunshine paper pad and ephemera from Not 2 Shabby.

Here's a look at my first card! Aren't those sunflower papers just gorgeous?! I love them so much!

Each month I share a fun card sketch in my Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. My cards today use Sketch 3.

I just love that sweet pumpkin, too!

I changed up the background on this one by flipping two of the pattern papers so the opposite design would show. I think it gives the card nice contrast.

This ephemera piece didn't have a sentiment so I heat embossed a cute sentiment from the Acorn Greetings stamps from Unity. I stamped it with Sugar Cube pigment ink from Taylored Expressions on a scrap of black pattern paper and then melted the Alabaster White embossing powder that I had applied to the white ink. Trimmed it up and popped it up on the card along with the focal piece. Here's a link to my process video... Fall is in the Air | September Collab | Fall Sunshine from Not 2 Shabby

I sure hope you've enjoyed the cards I shared today. I hope you'll give my YouTube channel a visit and then stop by Teresa's YouTube channel, too! We're each having a giveaway this month for the Fall is in the Air series on our YouTube channels. I share a peek at my prize in my video {link above}. To be eligible you must comment on each video we share during the whole Fall is in the Air Series all month!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky Hugs,
Crystal

Two More Lemon-licious Cards ~ July 2022 Whit Kit ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm sharing two more cards using the beautiful July 2022 Whit Kit from Unity Stamp Co. I've used two fun sketches that I've shared in my Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group for my cards today. I can't get enough of this gorgeous card kit!

My first card... isn't that pink paper with big lemon slices just beautiful! I paired it up with the green paper with lemon slices for a bit of contrast and also to add that green color into the palette for the card.
Here's a list of the Copic markers I used for this card:

Branch ~ E21, E25, E29
Leaves ~ G000, G00, G02
Lemons ~ Y06, Y15, Colorless Blender

I added a strip of the beautiful Sherbert Lemon glitter paper for a bit of sparkle. As far as the sketch, I've flipped it - so it's the mirror image - and it calls for a rectangle focal piece but I thought it would be fun to add some pretty vellum that I die cut with an oval die from the Pleated Oval die set from Gina Marie Designs. And then I added the die cut lemon branch over that.

Here's a look at the sketch that I used. I really like this one... especially for pretty pattern papers and being able to change up the focal piece gives endless possibilities!

I added a few of the dew drops from the Whit Kit and adhered the sentiment just over the lemon branch. I really love how this one turned out. I hope you like it too!

For my second card I used the sketch I've shared for this month in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group which is great for using a combination of different pattern papers. And it's great for scraps too which since I had made two cards already I was starting to get so this was the perfect sketch for a third card with the card kit.

I featured the beautiful lemon branch for the first two cards I shared using the card kit so I thought I'd ink up the other stamps in the Squeeze the Day stamp kit and use them for this card. I added a touch of  sparkle for this card too by die cutting the pretty Sherbert Lemon glitter paper with a small circle die from the X Stitched Circle dies from Gina Marie Designs.

Here's a look at the current sketch for August. This sketch is great for pattern papers but I think it would also be great for fun inky backgrounds... like a ink smooshed background, or maybe a ink blended background. A beautiful alcohol ink background would be awesome too! The possibilities are endless really!

I added a few dew drops to this card too and popped up the focal piece and sentiment with foam tape. Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used for this card:

Lemon ~ Y11, Y06, Y15
Lime Slice & Wedge ~ G000, G00, G02

If you're interested, you can check out my process video for my second card here... Another Lemon-licious Card | July 2022 Whit Kit | Unity Stamp Co.

Here's a look at the beautiful kit!
Unfortunately since I'm running behind the kit is no longer available BUT you can still get the beautiful Squeeze the Day stamp kit and the Squeeze the Day paper pack. If there are any leftovers from the kit - the pretty glitter card, dies and even the dew drops may become available at a later date. In the meantime, check out the wonderful Whit Kit Membership over at Unity

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal
