Hello there crafty friend! 

It's time for Unity's April release and I am just so excited to share my card featuring the latest addition to the roost... Cluckin' Chicks!! Fun stamps with two cute and hilarious chicks plus a few super funny sentiments. Love it!

I stamped the hilarious chicken with Black Amalgam ink and colored her up with just a few Copic markers.

Here's a quick list of the ones I used:

Feathers: C00, C2, C3

Eyes: C00, C2, C3, Colorless Blender

Beak / Feet: YR21, YR15, YR27

Comb / Wattles: R20, R14, R27

Ground: C00, C2, C3

Outline: B0000

I die cut the chicken using a circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. The sentiment is die cut using a die from the Scalloped & Stitched Sentiment Nesting Dies. Both are popped up on the card using foam tape.

I paired up this fun chicken with the Cluck & Bloom {paper pack}. I die cut the background paper using the largest die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}. All of my layers are adhered to a white A2 top fold card base. I finished off the card with some Glossy Accents on the chicken's eyes! I love the fun shine it gives to the card!

Big Birthday Wishes ~ Lil' Jumbo ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend! 

I'm so excited to share another card for Unity's latest release. The sweet elephant from the Lil' Jumbo stamps is jut TOO CUTE!! I had to color her up!

I stamped Lil' Jumbo with Black Amalgam ink and colored her up with just a few Copic markers.

Here's a quick list of the ones I used:

Elephant: N0, N2, N4, N6, V000, R00, R20

Balloon: BG10, BG01

Ground: C00, C2

Inspiration for my card comes from the the fun sketch challenge going on NOW in the Unity Show & Tell Facebook group! There's still time to play along with us! I die cut Lil' Jumbo using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. And I paired her up with the Oh Hey! It's Your Day! {paper pack}.

I adhered the sentiment to the focal image and then popped them both up with foam tape finishing off this sweet card.

Fluffy Hugs Memory Dex Card ~ Thank Mew ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!

I'm excited to share a fun memory dex card with you all today!

It's been awhile since I've made a memory dex card so I thought, why not! I also wanted to ink up the adorable Thank Mew stamp set or at least one of the cute kitties from the set.

I stamped the adorable kitty and all the accessories with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them up with Copic Markers. 

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

Kitty: R00, R20, N0, N2, N4, YG11, G07

Cat Food Tin: Y15, YR15, N0, N2, B0000, B000

Mouse: R00, R20, N0, N2, N4

Yarn: RV10, RV02, B0000, B000

I die cut my layers for the memory dex card using an old retired die from my stash. I also tucked a fun little doily in there and added some pretty lace ribbon.

I fussy cut all the images and colored the edges with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker. This was such a fun project to make. I hope I've inspired you to get inky!

Inky Paws Challenge #237 ~ Sketch Challenge {Week 1}

Hello there crafty friend!

Who's up for a new challenge?! It's time to get our paws inky with a fun SKETCH challenge! I'm always up for a good sketch and this one is so fun with all the layers! Inky Paws Challenge #237 - Sketch Challenge

Aren't those layers fun?! So many possibilities!

I wanted to make a St. Paddy's Day card so I went looking through my stamps and found the adorable Lucky Dog Stamp Set. I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him up with my Copic markers. I die cut the pup using the coordinating Lucky Dog Die Set.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used for the kitty and heart:

Dog: N0, N1, N2, N3, N6, C00, C1, C3

Hat: N0, N1, N2,N3, N6, YG11, G14, G07, Y11, Y15, Y28

Shamrock: YG11, G14, G07

I went looking through my paper pads for green papers and found the Bright Basics 6x6 Paper Pad that has four different green patterns. Score! Check out my video link below for the measurements. The banner with heart polka dots paper was die cut using a die from the Frames & Flags Die Set. I also used a flag die from the set for the sentiment on white card stock.

I wanted the pup to pop a bit more on the card so I die cut an oval using a die from the Oval Frames Die Set and die cut a vellum oval. It helps to bring the pup forward in the card so he doesn't get lost in all the green patterns.

Peek-a-Boo Chicken Card ~ Clucks & Chaos ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend! 

I'm back today to share a fun chicken card using the awesome Clucks & Chaos stamps from Unity's release. Such a funny bird!

I stamped the chicken on a panel measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2". I colored it up with my Copic markers and adhered the panel inside the card.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

Feathers: E21, E23, E25 Eyes: C00, C1 Beak / Feet: YR21, YR27 Waddle: R20, R14 Mouth: R00, R20

Background: BG10, BG0000

Ground: E50, E53, E55

Once I was happy with the coloring, I used a circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} to create the peek-a-boo element on the card. I die cut the pattern paper and then die cut the front panel of the white A2 top fold card base.

I paired up the fun chicken with the pretty Cluck & Bloom {paper pack}. I can't get enough of the chickens in these papers!! So cute! Haha... and then that chicken face popping out. This card cracks me up!

Inky Paws Challenge #236 ~ Color Challenge {Week 1}

Hello there crafty friend!

It's time for a new Inky Paws Challenge! We're playing with a fun mix of colors this month for a Color Challenge! Inky Paws Challenge #236 - Color Challenge

Our beautiful colors are... Cherry Red, Dreamy Turquoise, Buttery Brown, and White!! Love this combo!

I made a simple background using an older TOPII Sketch 19. When I'm stuck for an idea, I like to look through my past sketches to see what will inspire me. It works every time!

I stamped the adorable kitty from Newton's Heart Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the kitty with Copic Markers. I die cut the kitty using the coordinating Newton's Heart Die Set.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used for the kitty and heart:

Kitty: R00, R20, W00, W1, W3, W5

Heart: R20, R14, R27

I created my background layers using pattern papers from the Love & Meows 6x6 Paper Pad and Kraft card stock from Papertrey Ink. I popped the kitty up on the card using foam tape. And finished off the card with a few red enamel dots from the I Am Mom Enamel Dots from Echo Park Paper Co.

Unity Advent Calendar 2024 Day 23 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!

It's Day 23 of the 2024 Advent Calendar from Unity!! I can't believe we are almost finished with the advent calendar AND it's almost Christmas Day!

Today's little door had some cute wooden tree embellishments. I stamped the sentiment with Black Amalgam ink. I die cut my circle layers using dies from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}.

Inspiration for my card came from the {BYSHC} Sketch 46! This simple sketch is so fun!

So excited to add a couple more holiday cards to my stash for next year! I added a little color to this tree with Shabby Shutters, Rustic Wilderness, and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I added a piece of red card stock behind the tree to add some color to the 'ornaments'.

I paired up the wood tree embellishment with the Watercolor Tidings {paper pack}. The sweet sentiment is from the Cozy Vibes Owl stamps.

Hello there crafty friend!

It's Day 22 of the 2024 Advent Calendar from Unity!! Just a couple days to Christmas! What's on your agenda?! I need to finish wrapping gifts! Yikes!

Today's stamp is a super cute snowman. I stamped him with Black Amalgam ink. And fussy cut him leaving a bit of a border around the top of the snowman but I cut on the line for the bottom. Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used: C00, C1, C3, B000, B00, B91, YR21, YR15, Y28.

A sweet holiday card and it's a fun fold!! The card opens in the center just under the snowman's hands.

It's Day 19 of the 2024 Advent Calendar from Unity!! We are nearing the end of this fun advent calendar. I hope you've been enjoying the inspiration!

Today's stamp is a beautiful flower. I stamped it with Black Amalgam ink and colored it up with a few Copic Markers: R00, R21, R43, G00, G43. I then die cut it with a circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} and mat it with a black circle also die cut using the same dies.

Inspiration for my card came from the {BYSHC} Sketch 41! Another fun sketch with fun layers! 

Love the vintage / gritty vibe of this one with these pretty papers! All the measurements for this sketch is on my video. They are slightly different from the sketch above.

I paired up the pretty flower with the Grit & Grace {paper pack}. I again used a cut apart sentiment that I had received in a Unity order as a freebie.
