Skate Paw-ty ~ STAMPtember Collab ~ Newton's Nook Designs & Simon Says Stamp

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm so super excited to be sharing a cute card featuring stamps from the adorable STAMPtember collaboration stamp called Skate Paw-ty from Newton's Nook Designs that's available over at Simon Says Stamp!! Oh my gosh... I just can't handle the cuteness in this set!

I made a fun wintry card featuring one of the pups and the kitty from the stamp set. I stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers. I die cut them both using the Skate Paw-ty coordinating dies.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Kitty: C0, C2, R00, R20
Pup: E000, E00, E11, E23 N0, N2, N4
Blues: B000, B00
Purples: BV000, BV02
White: B000, B00

I used a scrap piece of card stock to mask the top portion of my card base and blended lightly with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to create the ice for our skaters. And then stamped a bunch of snowflakes on the card. I also stamped three on a scrap piece of paper and die cut them using the coordinating dies.

I adhered the skaters and snowflakes with liquid glue and the I stamped the sentiment with the same Tumbled Glass Distress ink to finish off the card.

Be sure to head over to Simon Says Stamp to get yours before they are all gone! These exclusive cuties will not be restocked! Once they are gone.. they are gone!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 35 ~ Halloween Scraps Cards

 Hello there crafty friend!
I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm sharing my first card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 35 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I inked up a couple fun Halloween stamps in my stash.

And I found some fun Halloween papers in my stash {from my days DTing with Scrapping for Less... way back when - sadly, they are retired} that I think I'm going to try to use up over the next couple of weeks. There wasn't a lot left. I used the larger pieces for these two cards.

For my first card I inked up a cute kitty stamp from Sunny Studio Stamp called Scaredy Cat. This cute stamp came in the kit that the papers came in so I thought I'd use it. It's really cute and it looks like it's on sale along with the coordinating dies over at Sunny Studio Stamps.

I fussy cut the kitty on the line {except around the whiskers} and then colored the edges with a black marker. I popped up the cat and the sentiment on the card with foam tape. I finished off the card with a few glitter enamel dots that had also come in the kit.

Here's a list of the Copic Markers I used:
Cat: C0, C2, N0, N2, N4, N6, R00, R20
Cat Eyes: YG11, YG09
Pumpkin: YR20, YR15, YR68
Pumpkin Face: Y11, Y15

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 35. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I came up with this card design when I was using up scraps. You can check out the original card here... February Scraps Cards. I'm excited to use up some scraps!

And for my second card, I inked up the adorable gnome witch from the Witch Way stamps from Unity Stamp Co. She's one of my favorite Halloween stamps. I inked her up with Black Amalgam ink and then colored her with Copic markers. I fussy cut this one too coloring up the black edges with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker and avoiding the white edges of her curls.

Here's a quick list of the Copics I used for the gnome witch:
Skin: E000, E00, E11
Hair: C0, C2
Hat: YG11, YG09, V12, V15, V17
Dress: YR20, YR15
Shoes: N0, N2, N4, N6
Cauldron: V12, V15, V17, N2, N4
Broom: E11, E25, N2, N4

I popped up the gnome witch and sentiment again with foam tape. And then I finished off the card with some green enamel dots that were also in that old SFL kit. I think this will be a really fun sketch to play with for the next four weeks! Lots of possibilities and we can use up some scraps! I hope you can find time to play along. I can't wait to see what you create. Have an INKredible week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hey Boo ~ Paranormal Positivity ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
I have one more card using new goodies from the Unity release. Today I'm sharing a simple Halloween card featuring the new Paranormal Positivity stamps from Unity.

I had a scrap of this pattern paper in my pack and wanted to use it with this cute duo. I was being lazy and thought it would look good just on a white card base. I probably could have tried a black card base. It would compliment the webs in the paper and the cat, but I digress.

I stamped the cute ghost and kitty duo and die cut them using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. These two cuties really don't need much as far as coloring goes... I used a little yellow on the ghost but then went over that with purple because the yellow didn't coordinate with anything. You can still see it a little bit but that's ok.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Ghost: Y11, BV0000, BV02, C0, C2
Ground: E000, E15

The purple scrap of pattern paper is from the Spooky Days {paper pack}. I love the unique colors in these papers. Definitely not your typical Halloween papers! Love them! I stamped and trimmed the sentiment. Adhered it to the circle and then added foam tape to the back of both. Popped them up on the card and was done.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 60 ~ Frosty & Feisty {Pissy Kitty} ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a little inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 60 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a fun holiday card featuring fun papers, dies and stamp from our fabulous Sponsor, Unity Stamp Co.

I started with my paper layers for this card. I pulled out my Catmas Party {paper pack} and trimmed the background layer to 4 x 5-1/4". I adhered it to a red top fold card base. I cut four strips of patten paper measuring 2-5/8 x 7/8".  I die cut a piece of red card stock with a die from the Deckle & Stitches Nesting Die Set. And then I adhered the strips in the center. I started by adhering the top and the bottom pieces. And then I was able to center the middle pieces and glue them down.

I stamped the fun kitty from the Frosty & Feisty {Pissy Kitty} using Black Amalgam ink and colored it up with Copic markers. And then I fussy cut it leaving a border.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Kitty: N0, N2, N4, C0, C2, R20
Eyes: YG11, YG09
Hat: RV10, RV02, RV14
Ground: C0, C2

I adhered the sentiment to the center panel and then popped up the center panel using foam tape. And then I adhered the kitty. I love this pissy kitty! That face cracks me up!

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 60 for the month of August. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! The design team, as always, rocked this sketch!

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's the final day of previews at The Greeting Farm for the August release! Today we're introducing BIRTHDAY GIRL ANYA... today's super sweet stamp set includes the adorable Anya with a cute kitty and a cake and some other cute accessory stamps! All so fun!

I stamped Anya, the cake, the table, and kitty with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers. Fussy cut each of them on the line and then colored the edges with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker making the edges nice and neat.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11
Freckles: E33
Hair: Y21, E33, E35
Hair Accessories: YG21, YG11, RV10, RV02, RV14, YR20, YR15, B000, B00
Dress: B000, B00, RV10, RV02
Kitty: C0, C2, R00, R20

Cake: YG21, YG11, YG03, YR20, YR15, RV10, RV02, RV14

I paired up Anya with some old papers from Stampin' Up that's been in my stash for quite awhile. I think the party theme of the papers really worked nicely with these stamps. I die cut the background layer with the largest die from the Postage Stamp {nesting dies} and the garland paper was die cut using a die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}, both from Unity.

I stamped and trimmed the sentiment and adhered it directly to the card. I popped up the kitty with foam tape. And then I finished off the card with three rhinestones from the Frosty Rhinestones from Gina Marie Designs.

The release goes live in the store tomorrow the 15th at 12am EST! Woohoo! Be sure to come back tomorrow for the release Blog Hop!! One lucky winner will receive a $50 gift card to The Greeting Farm. All you have to do is comment on the hop! Yay!

Here For You On Those Ruff Days ~ Ruff Ruff Ruff ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Taking a small break from making Christmas cards. I inked up the adorable new duo from Unity called Ruff. Ruff. Ruff. These two cuties remind me of our sweet pup and kitty... though I colored them differently. LOL

I went with a soft palette for this card. The Cozy Textiles {paper pack} seemed like the perfect fit for these two. I used larger scraps from my paper pack and covered a white A2 top fold card base.

I stamped the cuties and the sentiment with Black Amalgam ink and colored them up with Copic markers. I then die cut them using a die from the Postage Stamp {nesting dies}. I die cut the sentiment using a die from the Scalloped & Stitched Sentiment Nesting Dies.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Pup: N2, N4, N6, Colorless Blender
Eyes: C0, C2
Kitty: YR20, YR15, YR27
Ground: B000

I tucked a white doily behind the main panel for some texture and adhered all of my layers directly to the card. No foam tape this time. I finished up the card with a few pieces of white glossy confetti.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 33. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it.

I paired up the pissy kitty with the awesome Sun's Out, Sass Out Pissy Kitty Coordinating {paper pack}. I adhered the circle, sentiment, flamingo papers and the leaves paper together and then added foam tape to the back and popped the panel up on the card. I also slipped a simple scalloped edge in there that I had punched out of white card stock using an old punch from Stampin' Up. My panel was then adhered to a white A2 top fold card base.

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's the final day of previews at The Greeting Farm for the June release! Introducing Glow Up Anya... today's super sweet stamp set has a beautiful Anya getting all dressed up for a celebration!

I stamped Anya and all the accessories with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic markers. I fussy cut each of them on the line and then colored the edges with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker making the edges nice and neat.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04, R00, R20
Hair: E95, E43, E44
Dress / Shoes: RV000, RV10, RV02, RV04
Makeup Brush: N2, N4, N6, N8
Makeup: Y02, Y15, Y28, RV000, RV10, RV02, RV04, R00, R20

Kitty: R00, R20, N2, N4, N6, N8, C0

I created a fun background for my scene using retired papers from my stash. Unfortunately, they are from a crafty company that isn't around anymore. I have just some small scraps left. Trying to use them up! The chevron and striped papers worked nicely for my wall and floor. I think my favorite is the lips rug for the kitty. I die cut the paper using a stitched circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from Unity.

I stamped and trimmed the sentiment. I adhered my papers to a black A2 landscape card front. I adhered the vanity and kitty to the card. I popped up Anya and the sentiment using foam tape.

I finished off the card with glitter enamel dots from my stash. I'm also trying to use up my crazy huge stash of enamel dots. LOL! The release goes live in the store on the 15th at 12am EST! Woohoo! Anya Paints ~ Preview Day 1 ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's the first day of previews at The Greeting Farm for the fabulous June release! I am so excited to share my makes with you this week. Be sure to check out The Greeting Farm blog each day this week!

I stamped Anya, the step stool, the paint can, and the kitty with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored the images up with Copic Markers. I fussy cut them all on the line and colored the edges of the fussy cutting with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker making the fussy cutting all nice and neat.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E21
Hair: Y11, E43, E44
Bow / Shorts: V01, V12, V15
Top / Belt: RV10, RV02, RV04
Paint Brush: C2, C3, C5, R20, R14, R27, YR15, YR68, Y11, Y15, YG17, B02, B05, V15, V17
Step Stool: C0, C1, C2, C3, C5
Paint Can: C1, C2, C3, R14, R27, YR15, YR68, Y15, B02, B05, V15, V17
Orange Kitty: YR20, YR15, YR27

I die cut a slimline panel from white card stock using the Slimline Striped Frame Stand-Alone Die Set from Trinity Stamps. I stamped my rainbow of paint and actually messed it up. My placement wasn't quite right. So I trimmed a piece of white card stock to fit in the center of the die cut and re-stamped my rainbow of paint. This time I stamped them closer together and they fit just right. I also stamped the heart on a scrap and fussy cut that leaving a white border.

I adhered the center panel on my slimline die and then I adhered the panel to a white slimline card base measuring 7 x 8-1/2"; scored at 3-1/2". I adhered Anya and all the fun accessories to build my scene. I stamped the sentiment, trimmed it and popped it up on the card, along with the heart.

This was such a fun card to make. I just love how it turned out! Release goes live in the store on the 15th at 12am EST.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky Hugs,
Crystal

Meowica ~ Purr-ade Crasher Pissy Kitty ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Who is ready for summer?! The latest pissy kitty is!! LOL! Or maybe not!! Hahaha... it's such a cute stamp! This cutie is called Purr-ade Crasher Pissy Kitty from Unity.

I just had to ink her up and color her with my Copic markers.

Here's a list of the Copic markers I used:
Kitty: C0, C1, C2, R00, R20
Glasses: R20, R14, R27, Y11, Y15
Shirt: Y11, Y15, B000, B00, B02
Pants: R20, R14, R27
Sparkler: Y11, Y15, YR15

I die cut the kitty using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I die cut one of the sentiments using a die from the Distressed Tickets {ticket dies} and then I ink smooshed it with Candied Apple and Lumberjack Plaid Distress Inks. I just trimmed up the 'meowica' sentiment. The sentiments are adhered to the circle and I popped them all up on the card.

The background was a scrap in my stash that I had run through my big shot with the Bricked embossing folder from Tim Holtz. It's not super easy to see the distressed bricks in the background in my photos but it's visible in person. I ink smooshed the background with Salty Ocean and Candied Apple Distress Inks. I die cut the background using the largest die from the Deckle & Stitches Nesting dies. I adhered all of my layers to a white A2 top fold card base. And then I finished it off with some fun sequins from my stash. Love it!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.
