Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 34 ~ Poinsettia Die ~ Jaded Blossom

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 5 of the Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I'm adding another sweet card to my Christmas stash! This time I played with the wonderful Poinsettia Die from Sponsor Jaded Blossom. I'm also sharing inspiration for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 34 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group.

I die cut my poinsettia pieces from the Sparkling Christmas Wishes 6x6 Paper Pad from our Sponsor Not 2 Shabby! Love these pretty papers! I adhered all of my pieces together using the iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web.

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 34. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it.

My strips of dry embossed kraft card stock can be seen a bit better in this photo. I ran scraps of kraft card stock through my Big Shot with the retired Know the Ropes Embossing Folder from Sponsor Taylored Expressions. Trimmed them up and adhered them for a CAS design. I love the texture it adds to the card.

The wonderful sentiment from the Winter Cardinal stamp set from Sponsor Pink & Main is heat embossed, trimmed and adhered directly to the card. I finished off the card with one White Glossy Card Bling from Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs in the center of the poinsettia. I just love how this card turned out!

If you haven't already, stop by the Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! So much amazing inspiration! You can't help but be inspired to make a card or two! Have an ink-tastic week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Spring into Christmas 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Winter Cardinals Set 2 ~ Pink & Main

 Hello there crafty friend!
I can't believe how fast the time is going by! It's the last day of the Spring into Christmas 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party! It's always so sad to reach the end, but I'm super happy to be adding so many cards to my stash! Yay!

This time I used the adorable Winter Cardinals Set 2 from our wonderful Sponsor Pink & Main. I just adore this stamp!! The birds are so cute and they're kissing under the mistletoe... AWWWW... Super cute! I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on white card stock and colored them up with Copic markers.

Here's a quick list of the markers I used:
Left Bird: R20, R14, R27, C00, C2, YR21, YR04
Right Bird: R20, R14, R37, C00, C2, YR21, YR04
Scarves: YG11, G24, G46
Branches: E21, E23, E25
Mistletoe: G24, G46
Bow: R20, R14, R27

As always, I used the fabulous Pressure Pal from our awesome Sponsor Twiddler's Nook when I stamped the sweet birds. I also used it when I stamped the sentiment. I die cut the panel using the X Stitched Mini Slimline Die from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs. I wrapped the corners with some Natural May Arts Burlap String and tied a pretty bow. I popped up the panel using iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white) from Therm O Web.

My card design was inspired by past {BYSHC} Sketch 44. This simple sketch has become a favorite and it was perfect with this cute stamp.

I wanted to use another fun stencil for a lovely background for these two lovebirds. I grabbed the Simple Christmas Trees Stencil from Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs. I blended lightly with Vintage Photo Distress Ink over the stencil on Kraft card stock. I trimmed the panel to 5-1/4 x 4" and adhered it to an A2 kraft card base.

I hope you'll stop by the Spring into Christmas 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared! I've been inspired by so many of the cards! I sure hope you'll stop by and check it out! Have an ink-tastic day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 55 ~ Empty Snow Globe ~ Pink & Main

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with one last card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 55 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing another sweet holiday card featuring a couple of great stamps from our wonderful Sponsor, Pink & Main.

I paired up the fun Empty Snow Globe stamp set with one of the adorable gingerbreads from the Sugar and Spice Holidays stamp set to make a faux shaker card. My intention was to make a shaker card, but I got distracted and forgot to add the clear card stock {acetate} layer so a faux shaker it is! LOL!

I stamped the Empty Snow Globe and the ginger using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them up with some Copic markers. I brightened up the white icing using a Sakura White Gelly Roll pen.

Here's a quick list of what I used:
Gingerbread: E30, E34, E35
White Icing: C00, C2
Red: R20, R14
Snow Globe Base: E21, E23, E25

I used the lovely Sugar Plum 6x6 Paper Pad from My Mind's Eye for my pretty paper layers for this card. They are all adhered to a Kraft A2 top fold card base. The snow globe is popped up with some foam strips from Stampin' Up. Oh, and the snowflakes I added were from the Advent Calendar last year from Unity.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 55 for the month of March. There's just a few days left to enter the challenge! {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 55 ~ Winter Cardinals Set 2 ~ Pink & Main

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a little inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 55 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing another sweet holiday card featuring an adorable stamp from our lovely Sponsor, Pink & Main!

This time I've inked up the cutest little cardinal from the Winter Cardinals Set 2. I absolutely adore cardinals and was tickled to see that there are two full sets of these adorable birds! Of course, I needed them both! I stamped the cute bird using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it up with Copic markers. I die cut the cardinal using the coordinating Winter Cardinals Set 2 Dies.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Red: R20, R14, R27
White: C00, C2
Beak / Feet: YR15
Scarf: YG11, G24, G46
Lantern: N0, N2, N4
Candle: Y11, Y15, Y17

I paired up this cutie with the same papers I used last time... the Santa Claus Lane 6x6 Paper Pad from Echo Park Paper Co. Only this time I die cut my background layer using the Cloudy Frames Dies. Unfortunately, it looks like those dies are retired. I went back and forth on my paper choices for that background layer and just decided to keep both pieces together. The light green layer behind the cardinal is also from this paper pad.

I stamped the sentiment also from the Winter Cardinals Set 2. And I was pleasantly surprised to see a coordinating die for the sentiment included in the Winter Cardinals Set 2 Dies. Yay! I adhered all of my layers to a black A2 top fold card base.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 55 for the month of March. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! The design team, as always, rocked this sketch!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 55 ~ Sugar and Spice Holidays ~ Pink & Main

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a sweet Christmas card featuring an adorable stamp from our wonderful Sponsor, Pink & Main! Pink & Main has generously offered up a $25 gift certificate as a prize for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 55 this month! So fabulous!!

I inked up one of the cute gingerbreads from the Sugar and Spice Holidays stamp set. Isn't that ginger just the cutest?! I love the little snowman cup he's holding! I stamped him with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him up with Copic markers. I brightened the white of the icing using a Sakura White Gelly Roll pen.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Gingerbread: E21, E23, E25
Cheeks / Nose: R20, R14
White Icing: C00, C2
Ear Muffs / Scarf: YG11, G24, G46
Cup: C00, C2, YR15, N0, N2, N4

I paired up the cute gingerbread with the Santa Claus Lane 6x6 Paper Pad from Echo Park Paper Co. I had colored the image prior to picking out papers and was tickled to find these papers. They work perfectly!

I used the measurements from the sketch for my card. I added a super easy hill of snow by just cutting a bump in a scrap of card stock. I die cut the cute gingerbread using the coordinating Sugar and Spice Holidays Dies. I adhered all my layers together and then popped up the focal image using foam tape.

Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Flurries of Love ~ Pink & Main

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 4 of the Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I'm having so much fun seeing all the wonderful entries in the linky party! Today I'm adding another cute card to my Christmas stash! This time I played with the super cute Flurries of Love stamp set from Sponsor Pink & Main that was an exclusive stamp for STAMPtember over at Simon Says Stamp. It was just too cute for me pass up! If you love this stamp set, check out Hello Winter over at Pink & Main... some super adorable and cute snowmen stamps! Just saying!

I paired up the cute Flurries of Love with the Knit Picky 6x6 Petite Paper Pad from our Sponsor Lawn Fawn! These pretty papers aren't available anymore. But they do have some similar papers called Knit Picky Winter Petite Paper Pack. I love these pretty papers! I've had them for quite awhile and thought it would be fun to use some of the scraps for the paper scrap quilting technique that Jenni Shamblin shared for our last linky party. It's a great technique for scrap papers.

I had hoped to share a video for this technique but time has not been on my side. But the basic idea is to adhere strips of pattern paper diagonally to a piece of copy paper leaving a little space in between the paper strips. I used a 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" piece of copy paper and just went all the way across with my strips of paper. I used 1/2" strips of pattern paper for the card I shared earlier this month for the Friends of Unity Blog Hop. But for this card I used 3/4" strips of pattern paper and then I cut the paper into 3.4" strips. And then I adhered the strips again to a piece of copy paper leaving a bit of white space between the strips. I then die cut the panel using the largest die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} from our lovely Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. All of my papers layers are adhered using the iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web.

I stamped the cute images using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them up with my Copics. I die cut the images using the coordinating dies and then adhered them to a white stitched circle that I die cut using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from Unity. I also die cut a red mat using a die from that set from Pure Poppy card stock from Papertrey Ink. I then added foam tape called iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll from Therm O Web to the back of the circles and popped the focal image up on the card. To finish off the card I added a bit of red bling from the Hologram Red Card Bling from Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs. I just love how this card turned out!

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Snowman: C00, C2, R00, R20, YR15
Snowman Hat: N2, N4, N6, R20, R14, R46
Scarves: YG11, G24, G46
Penguin: C00, C2, N2, N4, N6, R00, R20
Penguin Hat: C00, C2, R20, R14, R46
Mug: R20, R14, R46, G00, G02, G05, G16
Hearts: R14

If you haven't already, stop by the Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! So much amazing inspiration! You can't help but be inspired to make a card or two! I sure hope you'll join in the fun! Have an ink-tastic week!

I love this adorable stamp... it's so fun to color! I decided to use the Stay Awhile papers by Bo Bunny. For once I remembered to choose the patterned papers first and then I colored my stamped image... pulling the colors from the paper. I wish I remembered to do that more often!

I used the following copic markers for this card:
Skin ~ E000, E00, E21
Hair ~ E21, E23, E27
Curlers ~ B34, B37, B39

Scrapping for Less ~ July 2019 Summer Camp Card Kit ~ Another Look!

Hi there crafty friends!
I'm back with a bonus card from the July 2019 Flavor of the Month Card Kit called Summer Camp! I love this kit so much!! I had this fun little idea for a card while working on my cards for the hop but I didn't have time to finish it. So... I finished it and here it is! I think it turned out pretty cute!

I used the fabulous My Favorite Things Blueprints 15 dies to design my card... I'm not sure if these dies are still available but if you can find them snatch them up, because they can make for a quick card design! I die cut the patterned paper layers using the dies from the set and adhered them to a Kraft card base. I then colored up a cute little scene with copic markers on a kraft tag that's included in the card kit. I paper pieced the bears tent from the patterned papers in the kit. Fussy cut it and adhered it to the colored bear image. I then fussy cut that out and adhered it to the tag! I popped up the tag and the sentiment on the card... done!

Copic markers used for this card:
Scene ~ G24, G29, E55, E57, E59, Y13, Y17
Bear/Inside of Tent ~ W0, W1, W2, W4, N1, N2

Here's a close up picture of the card and the little scene I created for the snoozing bear. Such a cute stamp!! If you haven't checked out the hop for this new kit, you can do that here ---> July 2019 FOTM Card Kit Reveal & Hop!! You can also check out the other cards I made using this fabulous card kit and start hopping ---> here!

I sure hope you enjoyed my little bonus card for the July 2019 Summer Camp card kit! I'd love to hear what you think of it in the comments below!

Scrapping for Less ~ Pink & Main ~ Happy Camper

Hello there crafty friends!
I'm here with another look at the Happy Camper stamp set by Pink & Main. I've paired this adorable set again with the wonderful Galaxy Foil papers also by Pink & Main.

I can't get enough of these Galaxy Foil papers!! They just make a card so quick and easy and those shiny stars are so much fun! Today, my design also includes a fun Campfire Sticker by Jolees... isn't that fun?! It's a pretty big sticker and I struggled a bit with what to do with it, but I think it makes for a fun card with this bear holding marshmallows getting ready to make some s'mores. It's hard to tell in the picture but his little marshmallow on top is actually on fire... which I imagine with this huge campfire it would be!! I used the following Copic markers for the bear ~ E000, E33, E35, E37, YR15, R20, BG11, BG13, B95, B97

You can see some of the glittery goodness in the fire with this picture.
To finish off the card, I popped up the bear and the sentiment that was stamped with VersaMark watermark ink on black card stock and heat embossed an ultra fine white embossing powder.
Hope you enjoyed my card for today... but hold on, I have a bonus card!!

When I had created my card earlier this month using the Hootiful stamp set by Heffy Doodle... you can check out that card here ---> Hootiful For You-Hoo card...  I had stamped and colored a few extra images so I thought I'd use those for this super quick card. All I did for this card was blend some Chipped Sapphire distress ink directly on my white card base. I started blending in the center and worked my way out giving a nice fade to the color. Such a quick card and one that I can send a friend to wish them a hootiful day!!

Now that's all for me today! I sure hope you liked my cards!
Thanks so much for stopping by! See ya next time.

Scrapping for Less ~ Pink & Main ~ Happy Camper with Galaxy Foil

Hey there crafty friends!
Today I'm sharing an adorable card using the sweetest little camper set called Happy Camper from Pink & Main. I paired this sweet set with the beautiful Galaxy Foil papers also from Pink & Main... these two products were literally made for each other!!

I've been wanting to make a long card... one that will fit in a #10 envelope. I love to change things up sometimes and this size of card is fun to play with! I started with a 8-1/2 x 11" piece of kraft card stock. I trimmed it down to 8-1/2 x 8" and then on the 8" side, I scored it right in the middle at 4"... giving me a 8-1/2 x 4" card base. A #10 envelope is actually larger, measuring at 4-1/8 x 9-1/2" so you could actually make a larger card if you'd like. This was just the size I decided to go with.

I had my card base and I had picked out my Galaxy Foil paper... but then I realized my paper was only 6" so how do I make a long card with this short patterned paper. Well, I found that Gina K.'s Plum Punch card stock coordinated with the Galaxy Foil paper and that helped to fill in the rest of my background. And to finish off my scene, I die cut some Gina K. Grass Green card stock using the Grassy Border die from Lawn Fawn. I then adhered my grass layers to the plum card stock being sure to not glue down the top layer of grass blades so I could tuck in my car and camper.

Speaking of... how adorable is this car and camper!! They were so much fun to color!! I love all the scallops and swirls... so fun!! There are so many cute images in this set too! I just love that little backpack... it reminded me of a denim backpack that I had as a kid so I colored it to look like it, except mine was green. :) How cute is that sentiment 'Happy trails!'... I thought this would be a cute card to send to someone going out on an adventure maybe camping or taking an RV around the country seeing all the sights!

Oh my goodness... these adorable bears!! I love their cute faces! I had a blast coloring them too. They look ready to enjoy some camping fun. And that crown on the glamping girl bear... love!!!

I finished off the card with some kraft twine... it filled in that empty space in that top right corner... and I think it fits with the whole camping/outdoors theme. I used a bunch of Copic markers to color in the images... here they are:

Girl Bear ~ E21, E23, E25, R00, R20, R21, R43
Flashlight/Crown ~ V0000, V04, V12, Y06, Y35
Boy Bear ~ E21, E25, E27, R20, B95, B97, YG17, YG23
S'mores ~ E27, Y06, Y35, W0, W1
Lamp ~ N0, N2, N4, Y06, Y11, Y35, R27
Car/Camper ~ B0000, B000, B02, V0000, V04, V12, N0, N2, N4, N7, R14, R27, Y06, Y11
Backpack ~ R00, R21, R43, B95, B97, B99, E35, E37

I had so much fun creating this card... I sure hope you enjoy it!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Scrapping for Less ~ Heffy Doodle ~ Hootiful

Hey there crafty friends!
I'm here with a super cute card using the most adorable owl stamp set I think I've seen in a long time!! This adorable set is from Heffy Doodle and it's called Hootiful... so cute! I love these cute owls and there are a bunch of wonderful sentiments in the stamp set too!!

So, normally I would have created my very own galaxy background but for this card I didn't have to! I used the fabulous Galaxy Foil papers from Pink & Main!! These papers are so beautiful and the colors are absolutely dreamy!! And it made for another quick card design which I am always looking for!! I knew I wanted to create a scene using the papers for my background so I die cut the papers with a large stitched oval die and set it aside.

I stamped a bunch of these adorable owls with Memento Tuxedo black ink and then colored them with the following Copic markers:

Owls ~ W00, W0, W1, W3, W6, W7, Y06, YR15, YR21
Branch/Leaves ~YG11, YG23, YG25, E34, E53, E57, E59
Moon ~ Y000, Y02, Y06

I colored around the edges of each of the fussy cut images with a Memento Tuxedo black marker. I set them all aside and then started building my card base. I die cut a piece of black card stock with a large stitched rectangle die and adhered it to a kraft card front measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2". I then adhered the entire card front to a white card base.

I just needed to build my scene... I adhered the oval die cut Galaxy Foil paper directly to the black card stock layer. I adhered the owl landing on the branch and then adhered the branch over top. I also adhered the moon... all of these were adhered with Multi Medium Matte directly to the galaxy background. I then popped up the flying owl and the owl near the bottom right side using foam squares. I then stamped the sentiment with VersaMark watermark ink and heat embossed a fine white embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment with a banner die, trimmed it down, and popped it up on the card. I really love how this turned out! I hope you do too!

Thanks for checking out my blog post!
See ya next time.

Scrapping for Less ~ Lawn Fawn ~ Lovable Legends 3 Ways

Hey there crafty friends!
I'm here today with a trio of cards using Lawn Fawn's Lovable Legends stamp set!
I thought it might be fun to share a trio of cards starting with a simple design and then building from that design to a slightly more involved card design.

My first card started with a simple stenciled background using the Echo Park Good Vibes Stripe stencil along with the Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink that I blended over the stencil. Once my background was done, I die cut it with a wonky rectangle die. I then cut a 1" strip of the beautiful Watercolor Foil paper from Pink & Main and fussy cut the little flag end on one side. I adhered it to the panel and then trimmed off the excess.

I stamped the super cute sentiment directly on the panel and then adhered the entire panel to a white card base. I stamped the bigfoot character three times and decided for my card design... he'd be a cute yeti so I colored him very simply with the following Copic markers ~ N0, N1, N2, B0000, B00, Colorless Blender. I fussy cut my cute yeti and popped him up on the card.
So this is my first card design... pretty simple, right?! But still adorable!!

For my next card, to add a little somethin' somethin' and bring it up a step from simple,  I decided to blend the background using distress oxide inks. I used Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky, and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink. I then blended Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink over the same Good Vibes Stripe stencil that I used on the first card. I love the subtle stripes it made on the background! I die cut the panel with the same wonky rectangle die and adhered it directly on a white card base.

I adhered a strip of the Watercolor Foil paper just like the first card, but this time I stamped the sentiments on scraps of white card stock. I used a banner die to cut out the 'Have An' sentiment and fussy cut the 'Unbelievable Birthday'. I adhered both sentiment directly to the card. I popped up the cute yeti and to finish off this card I added a couple of trees that I stamped from the same set using green inks in my stash. I love how the Watercolor Foil paper breaks up the stripes of the background and the foil in the paper adds a pretty shine for interest.

Are you ready for the third and final card... ?!

Whatcha think?! I'm a little partial to the background on this one because I love splatter!! I created the background the very same as the second card, but I added water and white acrylic paint splatters. I adhered the strip of  Watercolor Foil paper and the top sentiment directly to the card, but I popped up the bottom sentiment using foam tape. I adhered more trees to surround Mr. Yeti... huh, just decided to name him... LOL! I also popped up the two trees on the far right. My final touch to finish this card was to add some random dots to the trees using a white gel pen... almost like snow falling on the trees from the splatter in the background.

Here's a picture showing all of the cards together. I had a bunch of fun making these cards to share with you... I hope that you've enjoyed seeing the different steps in adding interest and dimension to the cards! I hope this inspires you to try different levels of cardmaking!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Scrapping for Less ~ Unicorn Marci with Watercolor Foil Paper

Hi there crafty peeps!
I'm sharing an adorable card today using Unicorn Marci and some absolutely beautiful
paper from Pink & Main called Watercolor Foil.

I shared a card last week using Unicorn Marci... you can check out that card here ---> Unicorn Marci with Coffee Distress Oxide Watercolor card! I watercolored my card for last week, but for this week I wanted to use bright colors to coordinate the beautiful Watercolor Foil papers so I stamped Unicorn Marci using Gina K Designs Amalgam black ink and then colored her in using the
following Copic markers:

Skin ~ E000, E21, E51, R20
Hair ~ E42, E43, E44, Y21
Pajamas ~ RV10, RV14, RV17, RV25, N0, N1
Slipper boots ~ N0, N1, Colorless Blender

I die cut the Watercolor Foil papers and adhered them to a white card base. I then fussy cut Unicorn Marci and set her aside. I die cut some clouds that I lightly sponged with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink but any blue oxide ink would work. There happens to be this ink in the shop ---> Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink... which would work just as well when lightly sponged on.

I adhered the die cut clouds with liquid glue so I could adjust them quickly before they set.
I popped up my fussy cut Unicorn Marci with foam tape. I then stamped the cute sentiment
on white card stock with Gina K Designs Amalgam black ink, fussy cut a flag, and then popped it
up on the card. I just love that beautiful shine from the foil in the Watercolor Foil papers!
So pretty! I sure hope you've enjoyed my card!

Thanks for checking out my blog post!
See ya next time.
