Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 35 ~ November Girl ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing some inspiration for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 35 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I inked up an oldie but a goodie stamp from my stash... the beautiful November Girl from Unity.

I had stamped this beauty probably last year but the project I wanted to use her for went in a different direction. She was perfect for my card today though. I used paper scraps from my stash to make my background. These papers are from the plaid papers I used earlier in the month for this card... HERE. I thought I'd use some of the scraps for my card today.

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 35. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I used the measurements on the sketch for my card today.

I colored up November Girl with similar colors to the papers but with a pop of blue and teal. I had fun coloring this one with my Copic markers.

Here's a list of the Copic Markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11
Hair: C0, C5, C7
Bird: Y11, Y15, B000, B91
Sprig: R14, G82, G94
Hat / Mittens / Boots: E21, E23, E25
Jacket: BG10, BG70, BG72, BG75
Sweater: Y15, Y38
Jeans: B91, B93, B95, B97
Pumpkins: YR20, YR15, YR68, UR27, BG000, BG01, BG72, E21, E25, G82, G94
Scarf: YR20, YR15, R14, R37

I stamped the sentiment, trimmed each of the words and adhered them to the card. I fussy cut November Girl and popped her up with foam tape. And then I finished off the card with brown enamel dots.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Inky Paws Challenge #204 ~ Sketch Challenge Reminder

 Hello there crafty friend!
There's still time to play along with the Inky Paws Challenge #204!! You have until this coming Friday, August 18th to get your entries in for this fun sketch challenge and a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!

Today I'm sharing a fun Halloween card using the sketch for the current challenge. I love making Halloween cards! Do you like to make them?

I have had the Newton's Perfect Pumpkin Stamp Set in my stash for a looonnng time! I made a cute shaker card 6 years ago with it. I've had it that long! I stamped the sweet kitty and pumpkins with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them up with my Copic markers. I fussy cut the pumpkins and Newton on the black line. I cleaned up the edges and made them look nice by coloring them with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker using the side of the marker.

Here's a quick list of the Copic Markers I used:

Kitty ~ C00, C1, C3, R00, R20
Hat ~ N0, N1, N3, N5, YG11, G14
Pumpkins ~ YR21, YR15, YR68, E51, E55, E57

I paired up these cute stamps with the super sweet Halloween Meows 6x6 Paper Pad. The stripes in the green paper draw the eye across the card. They also work with the strips in the sketch. I die cut the jack-o-lantern paper using the large scalloped rectangle die from the Frames & Flags Die Set. Adhered it to a True Black card front measuring 5-1/2 x 4-1/4" that I also adhered to a white A2 top fold card base.

I used the smaller circle die from the Circle Frames Die Set... I didn't want to overcrowd the kitty. I just die cut some black card stock and adhered the pumpkins directly to them and then popped them up on the card. I omitted the middle circle and put the kitty in it's place. I also popped up the kitty using foam tape. The sentiment was super easy... just stamped on white card stock with Memento Tuxedo black ink and I trimmed it with my guillotine trimmer. I popped it up on the card, as well. It also kinda grounds the kitty and pumpkin.

Now it's your turn to get your paws inky with your Newton's Nook Designs products and create a project using the sketch. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Can't wait to see your projects!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Fall Inspired Mini Slimline ~ Miss Anya Pumpkin Spice ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a sweet Fall inspired mini slimline card featuring the adorable Miss Anya Pumpkin Spice digi stamp from The Greeting Farm. I love Fall and I've been itching to play with this adorable digi set forever!! At least, it feels that long!

I combined and resized the images in a Word document and then printed it off. The pumpkins are from the Hello Fall digi stamp set, also from The Greeting Farm. I used the My Favorite Fall paper pad by Echo Park Papers for my pattern paper layer that I adhered to a kraft mini slimline card base measuring 7 x 6-1/2", scored at 3-1/2".

I didn't want to cover up all that pretty Fall plaid so I cut off that top right corner and I added a few coordinating enamel dots.

I colored up this pretty image with the following Copic markers:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E02, E04, E11, R00, R20
Hair ~ Y21, E39, E44, E59
Clothes ~ V000, V04, V12, B0000, B000, B00, C00, C2
Boots ~ C00, C1, C2, C4, C5
Mug ~ C00, C2, BG0000, BG11, BG23
Pumpkins ~ C00, C2, C3, BG0000, BG11, BG13, BG23, YR15, YR21, YR68, E21, E27, E33
Ground ~ N0, N2
Outline ~ B0000

I trimmed the sentiment down that I had also printed off with Miss Anya. And then I popped it up on the card with foam squares. Done! And I love it!

I just HAD to use these new stamps from Unity Stamp Company... Fall to Go!! Isn't it awesome! I love it!! I colored it in with copic markers and fussy cut the image. I added some patterned papers from my stash to a kraft card stock base. I then stamped the sentiment and popped up the fussy cut cup with dimensionals. Love how this turned out and how quickly it came together!
