{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 16 ~ Peppermint Kisses with Latte ~ Not 2 Shabby

 Hello there crafty friend!
I am back with one last card for the Fall | Winter 2021 Coffee Lovers Hop and, of course, I used Sketch 16 from the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! This was such a super quick card using fabulous papers and ephemera from hop Sponsor Not 2 Shabby!!

All kinds of yummy peppermint goodness in this card! I just can't get enough of these pretty papers and the mix of ephemera is amazing!

I mat the pretty papers with my hoarded Cool Caribbean card stock {retired Stampin' Up! from way back}... THE perfect blue card stock for these papers. I just love the mix of colors in these papers!

I die cut my top layer of Cool Caribbean card stock with the Pleated Lace Rectangles dies from Gina Marie Designs and adhered the ephemera to it.

The sentiment is from the Peppermint Mocha Season stamp set from Not 2 Shabby... perfect for this sweet card!! Pun intended! ;)

I pretty much kept to the sketch for this one... except for the slightly larger die cut rectangle and I did move the sentiment up.

Here's another look at the fun Sketch for the month of November! I'd love to invite you to play along with the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 16... head on over and join us in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group!

Feeds My Soul ~ Soul Coffee ~ Polka Dot Orchard

Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing another card for the Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Hop using a fun sketchy new release that I illustrated for Polka Dot Orchard called Soul Coffee. Speaking of new releases, Polka Dot Orchard has a whole bunch of new awesome coffee themed digital stamps and even some amazing new coasters! If you have a minute you should definitely stop by the shop and check it out.

I started by resizing the Soul Coffee image and sentiment in a Word Document and printed them off. I really love this sentiment and it's SO true! LOL

I trimmed a piece of pattern paper from the My Favorite Fall paper pack by Echo Park Paper Co.  and adhered it to the bottom of a Kraft A2 top fold card base. I used a cute x stitch die from My Favorite Things called Basic Stitch Lines dies for the pretty stitched design above the paper.

I set the card aside and colored up the cup with the following Copic markers:

Coffee ~ E21, E23, E25
Steam ~ N0, N2, Colorless Blender
Cup ~ BG11, BG23, YR15, YR21, YR68
Saucer ~ YR15, YR21, YR68

I fussy cut the cup and trimmed the sentiment and adhered both to the card. A simple but pretty Fall inspired coffee card!

Have you checked out the Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Hop? I'm loving all the amazing cards being shared! I hope you'll check it out and there's still time to play along. And be sure to stop by Polka Dot Orchard to see all the amazing new releases!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Cozy Mini Slimline Card ~ Planner Gal: Liquid Hug ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for Part Two of the fabulous Brown Thursday... ahem, I mean Brown Tuesday Sale!! Woohoo!! Today I'm sharing a cozy coffee card using the sweet new release called Planner Gal: Liquid Hug and I've paired her up with papers from a few different paper packs... all from Unity!!

I wanted to go with a more rustic comfy vibe so I chose the pretty snowflake papers from the Brilliant Blizzard {paper pack} for her jammies. And I've been in a Kraft mood lately so I grabbed the falling snow papers from the Krafty Deck the Halls {paper pack}. I die cut it with the Wonky Stitched Mini Slimline die from Gina Marie Designs and then mat it with a slightly larger piece of red card stock.

Now to keep with the rustic comfy vibe I chose the plaid paper from the Cozy Christmas {paper pack}. I die cut the Planner Gal with a Scalloped Stitched Mini Slimline die from Gina Marie Designs and adhered all of my layers. I wrapped the layers with {Ivory} May Art Burlap string, tied a pretty bow and popped it up on the 7 x 6-1/2" white card base, scored at 3-1/2".

I did a mix of paper piecing and copic coloring for the sweet Planner Gal: Liquid Hug. Here's the list of Copic markers I used to color up the stamped image.

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11
Hair ~ E23, E27, E50
T-shirt ~ C1
Watch ~ BG0000, BG01, C1
Mug ~ R14, R20, R27, E23, E27

I stamped the sentiment, trimmed it and mat it on red. I colored up the coffee beans and heart just a touch with E23 and R14. I added a couple enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs from the Cozy Flannel enamel dots pack. Loving how this card turned out!

And I'm entering it in the fabulous Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Hop!

Be sure to check out the amazing new releases over at Unity Stamp Company and the awesome sale!! The Brown Thursday sale is always amazing!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal

Membership Monday ~ November 2021 BOM Branches and Berries ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back for another Membership Monday post!! If you are a new visitor to my blog, I feature inspiration each Monday using different Membership stamps from Unity Stamp Co. And oh my goodness... my Branches and Berries Background of the Month stamp came in the mail and I couldn't wait to ink it up!! I think I may have said last week that I would be sharing inspiration with the November 2021 Whit Kit, but... I had to switch gears when I saw the Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Hop was coming. So, next week I'll be sharing inspiration for the new Whit Kit.

My card today is all about that beautiful background stamp!! I love it!! I stamped it with Wow Clear Embossing ink on Kraft card stock and melted Emerald City Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe. It's so pretty in person... the photos pick up some of the shine and the beautiful greens!

I trimmed the background and die cut the top and bottom with a Stitched Scallop Basic Edges dies from My Favorite Things. I adhered that to a 4 x 5-1/4" piece of Kraft card stock and wrapped it several times with {Ivory} May Arts Burlap String that I got at Unity Stamp Co.

I popped up the background layer with a whole bunch of foam tape and adhered it to a Kraft A2 top fold card base. I stamped the beautiful Angie girl from the Pure and Simple stamp kit with Gina K. Black Amalgam ink and colored her up with the following Copic markers:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11
Hair ~ N1, N3, N6
Hat / Mittens / Scarf ~ R000, R14, R27, C00, C2
Coat ~ G000, G24, G46
Pants ~ E23, E50
Cup ~ C00, C2, E23, E25, E50, N1, N6, G000, G14

I stamped the sentiment from the October 2021 Uniquely Unity stamp from Unity Stamp Co. called Holiday Things with Wow Clear Embossing ink and melted Alabaster White Embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. I fussy cut the Angie girl and popped her up on the card with foam tape. I added just a handful of berries using Gloss Red Berry Nuvo Crystal Drops... unfortunately, my new studio space in our basement is chilly and the drops didn't settle all the way. I'm still adjusting and learning how the colder temps affect my crafty supplies.

Have you dropped by the Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Hop?! So many beautiful cards and other creations! I hope that you'll check out the hop and if you have time, play along! I'll be back next week with inspiration for the November 2021 Whit Kit called Thankful & Blessed Pumpkins... the perfect card kit for your Thanksgiving makes!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky Hugs,
Crystal
