Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Winter Cardinal ~ Pink & Main

 Hello there crafty friend!
I couldn't help myself I'm sneaking in another card for the Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party! So I've played with this adorable Winter Cardinals Stamp Set from our lovely Sponsor Pink & Main a couple of times now. And I'm happy to say that with this card, I have stamped all of the adorable cardinals! How fun is that!? It's not often that I stamp every stamp from a stamp set.

I stamped the adorable cardinal using Memento Tuxedo Black ink in my mini misti with the Pressure Pal from our awesome Sponsor Twiddler's Nook. I love this tool! It comes in handy when my hands are hurting. I colored up the adorable Winter Cardinals using my Copic markers and die cut it using the X Stitched Circle die from our lovely Sponsor Gina Marie Designs. Unfortunately, I'm not finding this awesome die set on the website. I mat the cardinal with a black circle but it was in my file folder of black card stock. No idea what I used to die cut it though I would guess I used the Nesting Circles Dies from Sponsor Waffle Flower.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Cardinal: R20, R14, R46, C00, C1, C3, YR15
Scarf: C00, C1, C3, YG11, G24, G46
Holly: YG11, G24, G46, R20, R14, R46
Snow: C00, C1, C3

I'm also playing along with the Color Hues Challenge today! Red and Green are so perfect for a Christmas card! This fun challenge is open until July 29th, if you want to play along!

The fun background was created using two dies from Pink & Main. I die cut New Leaf card stock from Papertrey Ink using the Plaid Cover Die Panel A. And then I die cut Pure Poppy card stock from Papertrey Ink using the Plaid Cover Die Panel B. These fabulous dies also come at a bit of a discount in a bundle called the Plaid Cover Dies Bundle. I adhered them over the front of a black A2 card base of True Black card stock also from Papertrey Ink using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from our fab Sponsor Therm O Web.

I found a scrap of black card stock that was the width I was looking for but wasn't quite the length so I just cut it in half. I heat embossed the sentiment on the bottom piece. I prepped the card stock using the TE Anti-Static Powder Tool from Sponsor Taylored Expressions. And then I stamped the sentiment using the Sugar Cube White Pigment Ink from Taylored Expressions. I added some Alabaster White Embossing Powder and melted the powder with my Wagner Precision heat tool. I actually forgot to wipe away the excess powder... that's why it's so visible in the photo. Ugh. No time to redo! So just imagine it's all cleaned off. ;)

I adhered the wide strip of black card stock on the top and bottom of the card and then I used iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white) from our lovely Sponsor Therm O Web to pop the cardinal circle up on the card. I finished off the card with three green Flat Back Rhinestones from Sponsor Twiddler's Nook.

My card design is inspired by a past sketch... the {BYSHC} Sketch 26. This is a classic sketch! I thought it would be perfect with this fun background and the circle focal image.

Have you stopped by the Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared?! I've been inspired by so many of the cards! That's why I just had to make so many extras! LOL! I sure hope you'll stop by and check it out! Have an ink-credible day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Wishing You Mini ~ Gina K. Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 7 of the Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I'm super excited to share another sweet card that I've made to add to my holiday stash this week! I am a huge fan of snowflake stamps and I've had the Wishing You Mini stamp set from Gina K. Designs in my stash for a good long while. I love this cute stamp set!

I finally played with the awesome Postage Collage Die and Postage Collage Coloring Stencil from our amazing Sponsor Waffle Flower. I just adore snowflakes in blue! I die cut a piece of white card stock using the Postage Collage Die. And then I cracked open my 5.5 x 8.5" Grip Mat also from Waffle Flower. Another fabulous tool that's been in my stash for awhile but I haven't gotten around to using until now. And I'm very happy with it. Glad I finally tried it out! I placed the die cut panel on the grip mat and blended Tumbled Glass Distress Ink over the first stencil in the Postage Collage Coloring Stencil set. Keeping the stencil over my panel, I then stamped the Wishing You Mini snowflakes using Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks; and then stamped the stars with Black Soot Distress Ink. I used the fabulous Pressure Pal from our awesome Sponsor Twiddler's Nook when I stamped the snowflakes and stars in my mini misti.

I messed up two of the rectangles {left middle and bottom right} so I redid them using the same steps. I stamped the 'A Happy Holiday' sentiment on the longer rectangle. And then I trimmed them both and added foam tape called iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white) from our lovely Sponsor Therm O Web. I heat embossed the 'wishing you' sentiment on black card stock. I prepped my black card stock with the TE Anti-Static Powder Tool from our wonderful Sponsor Taylored Expressions. I stamped the sentiment using the Sugar Cube White Pigment ink, also from Taylored Expressions, and added Alabaster White Embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. I then melted the embossing powder using my Wagner Precision Heat Tool. After letting the melted powder cool a bit, I rubbed my card stock with a microfiber cloth to remove the anti static powder. I fussy cut the sentiment and adhered it directly to the rectangle.

I removed the backing from the foam tape and popped up the two pieces. You can see the dimension it gives the card in this photo. Love it! Who knew I'd end up loving that I messed up the panel! Haha! I adhered the postage layer to a 3-7/8 x 5-1/8" mat of black card stock and then adhered it to a white A2 top fold card base. All of my layers are adhered using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Therm O Web. I used a Sakura White Gelly Roll pen to add dots of snow to the background. And then I finished off the card with a few white rhinestones from the Frosty Rhinestones from our fabulous Sponsor Gina Marie Designs.

Just a few more days to play along with the Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I have thoroughly enjoyed the inspiration being shared! I hope you'll join in the fun! Have an ink-tastic day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ November 2023 KOM Festive Flair ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I can't believe how fast the time is going by! We are nearing the end of the Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party! It's always so sad to reach the end, but I'm super happy to be adding so many cards to my stash! I hope you've been inspired to play along with us. My card today features a couple of stamps from the November 2023 Kit of the Month called Festive Flair from our amazing Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. It's Membership Wednesday... a fun day to share inspiration for the awesome memberships over at Unity! I decided to play with an older KOM this time and make another holiday card for my stash!

I had a fun idea for a simple one layer card that kind of took a left turn. I blended over the cool Reindeer Games Stencil from our fabulous Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs using my red TE Blender Brush from another fab Sponsor, Taylored Expressions. I actually didn't add any ink to my brush but I'm pretty sure it has some Candied Apple Distress Ink on it. I kept it very light.

And then I stamped the beautiful trees from the November 2023 KOM using Iced Spruce Distress Ink. I then applied some anti static powder using the TE Anti-Static Powder Tool from Taylored Expressions. I stamped the beautiful reindeer using Wow Clear Embossing Ink and then added some Raven Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe. This is a fun black embossing powder with glitter in it. It's really beautiful in person. I melted the powder using a Wagner Precision Heat Tool. As always, I used the fabulous Pressure Pal from our awesome Sponsor Twiddler's Nook when I stamped the trees and the reindeer in my Stamp Platform. Love this tool!

Once I had all the elements on the panel, it just didn't look right as a one layer card. I trimmed off the front panel of the card base and cut the panel down to 5-1/16 x 3-3/4". And then I die cut a piece of True Black card stock from Papertrey Ink using the largest die from the Postage Stamp {nesting dies} from Unity. I found a card front of Ocean Tides card stock from Papertrey Ink in my stash. I scored the 8-1/2 x 5-1/2" card stock at 4-1/4" for an A2 card. Stamped the sentiment on a scrap of white card stock, trimmed it and mat it with a scrap of black card stock. I adhered all of my layers using the iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web. I finished off the card with two glittery red enamel dots from the Holiday Glitter Enamel Dots from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find them on the website but these are a favorite of mine... Red & Green Foil Mirror Enamel Dots.

I hope you'll stop by the Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared! I've been inspired by so many of the cards! I sure hope you'll stop by and check it out! Have an ink-redible day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ TOP Inky Inspiration Sketch 23 ~ Santa's Workshop ~ Jaded Blossom

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 5 of the Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I'm adding another sweet card to my Christmas stash! This time I played with the super cute Christmas Village: Santa's Workshop stamp set from Sponsor Jaded Blossom. I'm also sharing inspiration for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 23 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. In my continuing effort to finish off some paper scraps I did use a few scraps of pattern paper from one of my Christmas paper pads. Every little bit counts!

I paired up the cute Christmas Village: Santa's Workshop with the Brewing It Up 6x6 Paper Pad from our Sponsor Not 2 Shabby! Love these pretty papers! I adhered all of my background layers using the iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web. I die cut a panel of white card stock using the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs and adhered the two smaller rectangles to the panel. I then added foam tape called iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white), also from Therm O Web, to the back of the whole combined panel and popped it up on the card.

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 23. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. A great example is how I turned the sketch for a landscape card. This fun sketch challenge ends July 29th!!

I wanted to add a bit of snow to my panel so I die cut a scrap of white card stock using the hill die from the Land Borders Die Set from Sponsor Newton's Nook Designs. I trimmed it and adhered it to the bottom of the panel. I then fussy cut Santa's Workshop. Boy was that a task! About halfway through my third or fourth Christmas light, I was wishing I had left a nice white border around the image. Hahaha... anywho, I colored the edge of the fussy cutting using a Memento Tuxedo Black marker making it all nice and neat and then I adhered it to the panel. Next I stamped a sentiment from the Big & Bold Santa's Sleigh Slimline stamp set from Sponsor Colorado Craft Company.

To finish off the card I added a bunch of cute little clay snowflakes from the Christmas Confetti Clay Embellishment Mix from Sponsor Twiddler's Nook. I love how this card turned out! And I think I used products from 7 of our amazing Sponsors. Woohoo! That may be a record!!

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Workshop / Chimney: E53, E55, E57
Windows: Y11, Y15
Doorknob: Y11, Y15, Y28
Snow: C00, C1, C3
Wreath: YG11, G24, G46, R20, R14
Santa's Workshop Sign: R20, R14
Christmas Lights: R20, R14, B0000, B00, YG11, G14, Y11, Y15
Flags: R20, R14, YG11, G14
North Pole Sign: YG11, G24, G46
Pole: R20, R14, C00, C1, C3, E53, E55, E57

If you haven't already, stop by the Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! So much amazing inspiration! You can't help but be inspired to make a card or two! Have an ink-tastic week!

Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Merry & Bright Mug ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back for Day 2 of the Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party with another cute holiday card! It was so much fun checking out the inspiration shared yesterday for the start of the Linky Party. So many wonderful cards! Today I'm sharing a card using a sweet digital stamp from our sweet return Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs called Merry & Bright Mug.

I started by inserting the Merry & Bright Mug printout sheet into a Word Document and then I cropped the mug. I combined it with a couple more images {you'll see them later this week} and printed the document. I colored up the beautiful mug with my Copic markers and fussy cut the mug. I used a Memento Tuxedo Black marker to color the edges of fussy cutting. This technique helps the fussy cutting look all nice and neat. I added foam tape from our awesome Sponsor Therm O Web called iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white) to the back of the mug and set it aside.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used to color up this cute mug:
Mug: R20, R14, R46
Holly: R20, R14, R46, YG11, G24, G46
Whipped Cream: C00, C1, C3
Candy Cane: R00, R20, R46, C00, C1, C3
Leaf: YG11, G24, G46

I'm also playing along with the Color Hues Challenge today! Red and Green are so perfect for a Christmas card! This fun challenge is open until July 29th, if you want to play along!

To create my background I used the awesome A2 Card Layout Die Set from our wonderful Sponsor Newton's Nook Designs. I trimmed four pieces of pattern paper from the beautiful Christmas Time 6x6 Paper Pad, also from Newton's Nook Designs. I secured them two at a time to the back of the die using washi tape. The washi tape was also cut by the die but that's ok. I have so much washi tape. I don't mind using it.

I adhered all my layers together using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O WebI adhered the card front of Real Red card stock from Stampin' Up to a white A2 top fold card base turned on its side for a landscape card. I removed the backing from the foam tape on the back of the mug and popped up the mug on the card. I then added three green enamel dots from the Red & Green Foil Mirror Enamel Dots from our lovely Sponsor Gina Marie Designs to finish off the card.

Love Newton's Nook Designs products as much as I do? Be sure to check out the current Inky Paws Challenge for details on how to win a $20 store credit to add some NND products to your stash!

Woohoo!! I'm so excited to have another card done for my stash! If you haven't already, stop by the Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! Have a fantastic day!

Masculine Birthday Card ~ Still Turning Heads ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm digging this awesome new mustang stamp called Still Turning Heads from Unity's new release. I absolutely love old cars! This was a fun one to color too. All the details in the stamp made it so easy to color up.

I stamped the car and sentiment from the amazing Still Turning Heads stamps using Black Amalgam ink from Gina K Designs onto Stampers Select White Card Stock from Papertrey Ink. I knew I wanted to make a slimline card for this one so I stamped the car on the far right side.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

Car: BG000, BG02, BG45, BG57
Wheel / Lights: C00, C1, Colorless Blender
Plate: Y35, YR15, YR16

I die cut the image using the Big and Little Chain Slimline dies from Gina Marie Designs. I also die cut another piece of white card stock. I blended over a stencil in my stash. I believe it's from one of the past Whit Kit's but I'm really not sure. I just blended using my yellow and orange blending brushes. I didn't add any more ink to the brushes just used what was on them.

I cut the car panel diagonally and then adhered the panel to the stenciled panel. I trimmed a piece of True Black Card Stock from Papertrey Ink to 7 x 8-1/2" and scored it at 3-1/2" making a slimline card base. I adhered the car panel to the base finishing this card off. That's it for me today.
Hope you have an ink-tastic day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

I just LOVE the adorable angels from the Christmas Blessings Angels from our lovely Sponsor Rachelle Anne Miller Stamps also known as RAM Stamps. I paired up the beautiful Christmas Blessings Angels with papers that I got last year from Hobby Lobby called Star of Bethlehem. These are large papers - I believe they measure 8-1/2 x 11". I die cut them using a die from the Frayed Edge Stacklets from our wonderful Sponsor Taylored Expressions

 Hello there crafty friend!

I had another fun idea for a CAS card. This time I used the adorable Winter Cardinals from our wonderful Sponsor Pink & Main. I die cut the cute cardinal using a circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from our lovely Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. I also die cut a mat from red card stock using the next largest die in the set. And I die cut a card front of white card stock using the Fancy Lattice Backdrop die from our sweet Sponsor Lawn Fawn.

As always, I used the fabulous Pressure Pal from our awesome Sponsor Twiddler's Nook when I stamped the sweet bird. I also used it when I heat embossed the sentiment. I prepped the red card stock using the TE Anti-Static Powder Tool from our fabulous Sponsor Taylored Expressions. And then I stamped the sentiment using the Sugar Cube White Pigment ink also from Taylored Expressions. I added Alabaster White embossing powder from Brutus Monroe and then melted the powder with a Wagner Precision Heat Tool.

I colored up the bird using my Copic markers and then adhered the circles. I adhered the trimmed sentiment to the circles and then added a bunch of 3D Foam Squares from our wonderful Sponsor Therm O Web. To finish off the card, I added a few red rhinestones from the Rainbow Bling Rhinestones from our fabulous Sponsor Gina Marie Design. Love how this card turned out!

Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Pick Me Up ~ Not 2 Shabby

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with another fun holiday card for the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party! My card today features cute stamps from the Pick Me Up Clear Stamp set from our wonderful Sponsor Not 2 Shabby. If you follow my blog, you know I love truck stamps! This one was a must-have!!

I had a fun idea for a CAS-ish style card this time. Paired the stamps up with the Driven Snow stencil from our lovely Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs. Such a beautiful stencil! I masked the bottom portion of my card front using a piece of iCraft Removable Pixie Tape from our fabulous Sponsor Therm O Web. Without adding ink to my TE Blender Brush from our awesome Sponsor Taylored Expressions, I blended with my blue brush being sure to have a light touch around the outer edges.

I stamped the pretty trees using Twisted Citron Distress ink first. I used my mini misti so I could get it stamped with good coverage. I then used Pine Needles Distress ink only this time I pulled the ink pad down which gave the trees some texture and let the lighter green peek through in spots. I also stamped the cute truck in my mini misti and used the fabulous Pressure Pal from return Sponsor Twiddler's Nook

I colored up the truck using my Copic markers and then die cut the truck and the trees using the Pick Me Up Shabby Snips dies. I adhered the trees to the card base and added a few white glitter enamel dots from the Winter Sparkle Glitter Style Enamel Dots from our wonderful Sponsor Gina Marie Designs. I popped up the truck using 3D Foam Squares from Sponsor Therm O Web. I really love how this CAS-ish card turned out!

Here's a quick list of the Copic Markers I used:

Truck: R20, R14, R46, N0, N1, N3, N5, C1
Tree: YG11, G24, G46
Sentiment: E21, E23, E25

I hope you'll stop by the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared! I've been inspired by so many of the cards! I sure hope you'll stop by and check it out! Have an ink-tastic day!

Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Hipster Christmas ~ Jaded Blossom

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with another fun holiday card for Day 5 of the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party! My card today features an adorable stamp from the Hipster Christmas stamp set from our wonderful sponsor Jaded Blossom. How cool is this hipster reindeer?! I love him!

I paired the stamps up with the Meowy Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad from our lovely sponsor Newton's Nook Design. I adore these holiday papers from NND! The holly paper is one of my absolute favorites.

Some of you may have recognized my card design from the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 20. I have really been enjoying this sketch. I host another sketch challenge in my Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I really do love a fun sketch! And this one doesn't have any theme restrictions... any occasions are welcome. I hope you'll join us!

I stamped the cute reindeer using my mini Misti and the fabulous Pressure Pal from return Sponsor Twiddler's Nook. I always use my Pressure Pal when I stamp with clear stamps. It gives me the perfect stamped image every time. I also stamped the sentiment but it was a little big as it read "So like... Merry Christmas... or Whatever." so I trimmed it removing the "So like...". It gives it a bit more of a snarky vibe but I still love it!

I colored up the reindeer using a bunch of Copic markers and then trimmed the panel. I cut down a piece of Real Red card stock from Stampin' Up to the measurements in the sketch - 2-3/8 x 4-1/8". I die cut a scrap piece of pattern paper and a scrap of Green Parakeet card stock from Papertrey Ink. I adhered them together and then adhered them to the reindeer with red mat panel. I popped up the reindeer and sentiment using 3D Foam Squares from Sponsor Therm O Web. Love the dimension that it gives the card. I finished off the card by adding one little red enamel dot from the Red & Green Foil Mirror Enamel Dots from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs

Here's a quick list of the Copic Markers I used:

Reindeer: R00, R20, E21, E23, E25, E29, N0, N1, N3, N5
Glasses: N0, N1, N3, N5
Bowtie: R20, R14, R46, N0, N1, N3, N5
Coffee Cup: R20, R14, R46, YG11, G24, G46, N0, N1, N3, N5

Have you stopped by the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared?! I am loving all the inspiration being shared! I sure hope you'll stop by and check it out! Have an ink-tastic day!
