CAS Birthday Card ~ Aging Gorgeously ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!

Before we get to the card that I'm sharing today I wanted to let you know that if you have signed up to receive email notifications of new posts from my blog, you may notice that the emails look a little different. Feedburner is no longer providing this service so I've switched to Follow.It. If you are not already signed up to receive email notification for my blog... and you like the cards that I share, why not sign up?! There's a little box ---> on the right side of my blog. Just add your email address and follow the directions in the email that is sent to you. Ok... back to the pretty card I'm sharing!

Today I'm sharing a CAS birthday card that I created for a crafty friend! I used the beautiful Aging Gorgeously Sentiment kit from Unity Stamp Co... this is one of my all time favorite kits! I just love this gorgeous flower and the mix of sentiments in the kit are awesome!

I stamped the flowers on a scrap of white card stock and colored them with the following Copic markers ~ R000, R14, R27, Y06, Y35, Y38, YG03, YG97

I fussy cut around the flowers and adhered them to a white A2 top fold card base. I stamped the sentiment and was done! I have a {Quick Clips} video sharing my coloring of the Aging Gorgeously flower. You can check that out here... {Quick Clips} Copic Coloring Aging Gorgeously | Unity Stamp Co. If you'd like to see the coloring closer to real time, you can go into settings {the little wheel at the bottom of the video}, click on Playback Speed and choose a slower speed.

Well, that's it for me today!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Unity Stamp Company ~ Shimmer & Shine Sentiment Kit ~ Hello Sunshine

Hello there!
I have a lovely card to share with you today using the beautiful July 2019 Sentiment kit called Shimmer & Shine from Unity Stamp Company! I love Sunflowers!! They are one of my favorite flowers... now, I say that a lot, but Sunflowers and Daisies are seriously on the top of my list. So when I saw this gorgeous new stamp by Graciellie Design... Omg! I couldn't wait to color it!!

The tricky part in coloring this beauty was that I took it along with me on vacation and I only brought a handful of Copic markers... talk about a challenge!! I used the following Copic markers:
Stem/Leaf ~ G12, G24, G28
Flower ~ Y06, YR15, YR16, E55, E57, E59

I then fussy cut the flower and popped it up on some pretty paper from my stash... these papers are from Papertrey Ink and I think they're discontinued but they're called Library Ledger, just in case you want to check them out. I trimmed the papers and mat them with Dark Chocolate card stock and then adhered the pieces to a kraft card front measuring 5-3/8 x 4-1/8. I then adhered the entire panel to an Aqua Mist card base... both colors I used coordinate with the papers I used. My final touch was the sentiment that I trimmed down and popped up just slightly covering the bottom of the flower stem.

That's it for me today. I sure hope that you like the card I've shared today.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
See ya next time.

Inspired By Challenge ~ Happy Birthday!

 Inspired By challenge

Hello! I'm sharing a quick post today for my entry to the Inspired By Challenge...

I've had this beautiful daisy stamp from Unity Stamp Company's May Hope Sustain You sentiment kit on my desk for awhile. I've been itching to ink it up but just haven't had a chance... today was the perfect time! I pulled the greens and yellow from the Inspired By image to color the daisy stamp, using the following Copic markers ~ Y000, Y06, Y11, Y35, G14, G17, N0, N1, 0. I was also inspired by the 'shadow stripes' in the background and so this pretty striped paper in my stash from The Paper Studio's Pink Lemonade paper pack was a must!

Since I'm always in need of birthday cards, I decided to use the 'happy birthday' sentiment from the Abundant Blessings sentiment kit. I stamped it on kraft card stock with VersaMark watermark ink and heat embossed ultra fine white embossing powder. All that was left was adhering my layers. I popped up the main panel and the sentiment with foam tape. Voila!

That's it for me! Such a fun summery challenge... there's still lots of time to play along so head on over to the Inspire By challenge blog to check it out!

Thanks for stopping by!

See ya next time.
