Have My Heart Card ~ Reluctant Love Pissy Kitty ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with another fun Valentine's Day card this time using the amazing Reluctant Love Pissy Kitty stamps from Unity's January release. I can't get enough of this sweet kitty!

I stamped the fun kitty using Black Amalgam ink and colored her up with some Copic markers. I die cut the panel using the largest die from the Postage Stamp {nesting dies}.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers:
Kitty: T0, T2, T4, T6
Heart: RV10, RV11, RV14

I wanted to add some more hearts so I grabbed the Heart Confetti Stencil {sadly, it's not available anymore} and I blended very lightly with my pink blending brush. In fact, I didn't add any ink to my brush so I could keep it light on purpose. I adhered the panel to a card base of Pale Peony card stock from Papertrey Ink.

I stamped the sentiments, trimmed them up and mat them with Pale Peony card stock. And then I adhered them directly to the card. I finished off the card with a few rhinestones from my stash.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky hugs,
Crystal

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 52 ~ Joy of the Season ~ Gina K. Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a little inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 52 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a lovely Christmas card featuring a wonderful die and stamp set from our amazing sponsor, Gina K. Designs, called Joy of the Season!

Unfortunately, the Joy of the Season stamp set was an exclusive set in collaboration with Simon Says Stamp for STAMPtember maybe a couple of years ago now, so it's no longer available. I sure do love it though! I stamped the gorgeous deer using Sea Glass and Tranquil Teal inks from Gina K. Designs. I fussy cut the deer leaving a white border.

I die cut Sea Glass card stock from Gina K. Designs using the gorgeous Snowflake Cover Plate die. I then trimmed a piece of white card stock to fit behind the cover plate die. I adhered a 1-3/4" wide piece of Sea Glass card stock across the front of a white A2 card base.

I heat embossed the beautiful sentiment using my go to mix of products: TE Anti-Static Powder Tool, Sugar Cube Pigment Ink, Alabaster White Embossing Powder and a Wagner Precision Heat Tool. I trimmed the sentiment and mat it with white card stock. I adhered all of the layers to the card using Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue and popped up the deer using Scrapbook Adhesive Crafty Foam Tape. And I finished off the card with pretty Frosty Rhinestones from Gina Marie Designs.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 52 for the month of December. I decided to do an A2 card instead of the mini slimline design in the sketch. If you're not a fan of mini slimline cards, feel free to alter the design for an A2 card like I did or even an A7 card. Whatever works for you. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! The design team, as always, rocked this sketch!

Unity Advent Calendar 2024 Day 3 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 3 of the 2024 Advent Calendar from Unity!! I am loving the creations being shared with these fun and adorable Advent Calendar stamps. Keep them coming! Today I'm also sharing inspiration for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration ALL the Sketches Challenge!

Today's Advent Calendar stamp is a sweet quartet of trees! They are stamped with Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink. And I covered the cute stars with little yellow rhinestones. Should I have done white? I'm just not sure.

You can check out my video revealing the Advent Calendar Day 3 stamp and my process in making this card here... Unity Advent Calendar 2024 Day 3 | Unity Stamp Co.

There are 27 different sketches to inspire us to create this month! Here's a look at six of them. I was inspired by the first one... Sketch 1.

A closer look at Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 1! This is one of my favorite sketches! It's so simple. Stop by the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group to check out the challenge and see all the inspiration for each of the sketches. Maybe you'll be inspired to play along with us!

I die cut the pretty trees using a die from the Scalloped Tags {looks like these aren't available anymore}. I added some pretty ribbon that I tied off with twine. The pretty sentiment is from the Bitty Forest stamps.

I paired up the pretty trees with the White Winter {paper pack}. And I finished off this card with the yellow rhinestones from the Rainbow Rhinestones from Gina Marie Designs.

I'll be back tomorrow for Day 4 of the 2024 Advent Calendar from Unity!
Have an inkredible day!

Advent Calendar Day 5 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for Day 5 of the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity!! I'm revealing the Advent Calendar stamp on my YouTube channel each day and also have a short blog post. Did you get your hands on this awesome set of stamps? I am having a blast playing with mine.

Today's Advent Calendar stamp is the cutest gingerbread man! I stamped the gingerbread man several times on kraft card stock using Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink to create my background. I stamped him again using Black Amalgam ink on a piece of white card stock that was die cut using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I also die cut a slightly larger circle from kraft card stock for my mat.

Inspiration for today's card comes from the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 12. I still haven't found my corner rounder punch... it's so weird that it's just disappeared. Anywho, so I didn't round out the corners and I omitted the mat for my wide strip, but otherwise I used the measurements for this card straight from the sketch.

I paired today's Advent Calendar stamp with the beautiful Festive Christmas {Paper Pack}. I love the contrast in the pattern papers just from the stripes being in the opposite direction.

I stamped the sentiment from the Winter Cheer and Deer stamps using Lumberjack Plaid Distress Oxide ink. To finish off the card, I added a few red rhinestones from the Rainbow Bling Rhinestones from Gina Marie Designs.

You can check out my video revealing the Advent Calendar Day 5 stamp and my process in making this card here... Advent Calendar Day 5 | Unity Stamp Co.

I believe there are still some Advent Calendars available if you didn't order one yet. Always happy to enable, crafty friends! LOL! I'll be back tomorrow for Day 6 of the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity! Have an ink-tastic day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

I Love the Story ~ Unity Sketch Challenge ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm still playing catch-up with my creations for Unity's last new release and sale of 2021. Today, I'm sharing a sweet love card that I made using the December Sketch and the newly released Our Blooming Story. I LOVE this gorgeous typewriter!!

I went with a simple palette of blue-green, purple and white. The background is a pretty polka dot paper from the Flutter Away {paper pack} from Unity.

Keeping with a polka dot theme... I stamped the Polka Dance background stamp with Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide ink on white card stock. I didn't completely cover the background stamp with ink giving the background a more distressed look.

I stamped the sentiment and new typewriter stamps with Gina K. Black Amalgam ink and colored the typewriter with the following Copic markers:

Typewriter ~ V20, V22, V28
Flowers ~ R14, BG000, BG01, BG10, BG53
Leaves / Stems ~ YG11, YG13

I fussy cut the typewriter and colored the edges with a Memento Tuxedo black marker. I trimmed the sentiment and adhered it to the typewriter and then I popped up the whole piece on the card front. I adhered the card front to a white A2 top fold card base. I finished off the card with some beautiful Spring Bling rhinestones from Gina Marie Designs. A sweet love day card or any day card!

If you haven't already, check out the December Sketch challenge over in the Unity Show & Tell group. There's only a couple more days to play along!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky Hugs,
Crystal
