Inky Paws Challenge #237 ~ Sketch Challenge {Week 2}

 Hello there crafty friend!
Have you played along with the Inky Paws Challenge 237 - Sketch Challenge yet?! There's still lots of time! You have until Friday, February 28th to get your entries in for this fun challenge and a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!

I turned the sketch for my card today. What do you think of the sketch on the side?

I made one last Valentine's Day card using the Newton's Sweetheart Stamp Set. I stamped the lovely kitties with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them up with Copic Markers. I then die cut them using the coordinating Newton's Sweetheart Die Set.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Black Cat: N0, N2, N4, N6, R00, R20
White Cat: C00, C1, C3, R00, R20
Collars: R20, R14, R27, Y15, Y28

I paired up the sweetheart kitties with the Love & Meows 6x6 Paper Pad. I love these wonderful papers and the colors are one of my favorite color combos. The pretty heart layer under the kitties was die cut using a die from the Heart Frames Die Set. I adhered the kitties to the heart and popped the heart up on the card.

I used the banner die again from the Frames & Flags Die Set for that pretty red banner strip. And to finish off the card I added a few red enamel dots.

Now it's your turn to get your paws inky with your Newton's Nook Designs products and create a project using the sketch. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Can't wait to see your projects!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky Hugs,
Crystal

Have My Heart Card ~ Reluctant Love Pissy Kitty ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with another fun Valentine's Day card this time using the amazing Reluctant Love Pissy Kitty stamps from Unity's January release. I can't get enough of this sweet kitty!

I stamped the fun kitty using Black Amalgam ink and colored her up with some Copic markers. I die cut the panel using the largest die from the Postage Stamp {nesting dies}.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers:
Kitty: T0, T2, T4, T6
Heart: RV10, RV11, RV14

I wanted to add some more hearts so I grabbed the Heart Confetti Stencil {sadly, it's not available anymore} and I blended very lightly with my pink blending brush. In fact, I didn't add any ink to my brush so I could keep it light on purpose. I adhered the panel to a card base of Pale Peony card stock from Papertrey Ink.

I stamped the sentiments, trimmed them up and mat them with Pale Peony card stock. And then I adhered them directly to the card. I finished off the card with a few rhinestones from my stash.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal

Best Decision You Ever Made ~ Snarky Valentines ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back today to share a quick and funny Valentine's Day card using the awesome Snarky Valentines stamps from Unity's January release. So many hilarious and fun sentiments!

I went with a very simple card design so the sentiment would be the star. I love this! Pretty sure this will be my hubby's Valentine's Day card! LOL

I paired the Snarky Valentines sentiment with the beautiful Enveloped in Love {paper pack}. I actually had these papers in the pack already for a card. Easy peasy! I die cut the sentiment using a banner die from the Scallops & Banners {nesting dies}. Distressed the edges leaving a little bit of white peeking through in the center. I added a bunch of foam tape to the back of the banner and popped it up on the card. And then I finished this card off with one heart enamel dot.

To finish off the card, I added one heart enamel dot from my stash. Such a fun card to make!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky hugs,
Crystal

Love is in the Air ~ Struck by Cupid Digi ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm also sharing a sweet Valentine featuring a fab new digi set called Struck by Cupid from The Greeting Farm! This adorable digi set includes a super cute little Cupid Bean along with some bunny friends, lots of hearts, and sentiments. Just too cute!

I created a sweet background of pink clouds using the Clouds Stencil from Newton's Nook Designs. I die cut the background using a die from the Labels 6 Cloud Like dies from Gina Marie Designs. And it's adhered to a white A2 top fold card that I turned on the side for a landscape card.

I combined and resized all of the fun images and sentiment in a Microsoft Word Document and then I printed them off on white card stock. I colored them up with Copic Markers. Fussy cut the hearts, bunny, and Cupid Bean. Colored the edges of the fussy cutting with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker. Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04, R00, R20
Hair: E40, E43, E44
Eyes: YG11, YG23, G05, C00, C1
Wings: YG21, YG23
Cloud: RV0000, RV52
Bow: E51, E55, E57
Arrows: N0, N2, N5, RV10, RV11, RV02, RV14
Hearts: RV10, RV11, RV02, RV14
Gray Bunny: W00, W1, W3, R00, R20
Bunny Wings: B0000, B000

I finished off the card with a few glittery green enamel dots. Such a fun card to make!

This cutie is available now in the shop so you can get started on your Valentine's Day cards! Woohoo!
