Holly Jolly Holidays ~ Non-Traditional Christmas Colors Challenge ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing another wonderful Holiday card using a fun color combo for the Non-Traditional Christmas Colors Challenge over at the Unity Show & Tell Facebook group! This week I've used another one of my favorite color combos... Kraft, White & Red!

The recent release of the beautiful Ornamental Pine Bundle got me hooked on playing with foils so I just had to do a bit of foiling for my card. I used the beautiful Snow Many Flakes Deco Foil Toner Card Front along with Red Deco Foil Transfer Sheets.

The top layer of snowflakes has a bit of Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink blended on it before I ran it through my laminator with the red foil. I die cut the center with a Wonky Stitched die.

I stamped Ember Girl with Gina K. Black Amalgam ink and colored her up with the following Copic markers:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11
Hair ~ E23, E25, E50
Hat / Mittens / Coat ~ C00, C2, R000, R14, R20, R27
Jeans ~ B91, B95, B97
Sweater ~ E23, E50
Boots ~ N1, N3, N6
Tree ~ G000, G24, G46, Y06, Y35, E23, E25

I blended some Candy Apple Distress Oxide inks on another Snow Many Flakes toner card front and used the red foils again. I used a another stitched oval die to cut out my center layers and also to cut out the toner card front that I inserted in the negative space left behind.

I fussy cut Ember Girl and used a Memento Tuxedo black marker to clean up the edges where I fussy cut on the line. I adhered her to the card using liquid glue. I then stamped the sentiment from the gorgeous November 2021 Sentiment Kit called Cherished Holly with the Candy Apple Distress Oxide ink. This sentiment kit just may be my new favorite for Holiday cards!!

I popped up the sentiment with foam tape to finish off this card.
I sure hope that you are inspired to grab your Unity holiday stamps and get inky for this challenge! I'm really enjoying the cards being shared so far and some of the color combinations being shared are amazing!! I'll see you all back here next Thursday with another fun Holiday card and color combo!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal

Get Your Spooky On ~ All Things Halloween Challenge ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!

Crystal here from Tawny Owl Paperie with one last Halloween card for the All Things Halloween Challenge in the Unity Show & Tell group! Today I thought it would be fun to share a Fun Fold card using a few Halloween stamp kits and cute Halloween papers.

For the front of the card I used papers from the Trick or Treat {paper pack}... I distressed the edges a bit with some Black Soot Distress Oxide ink. My card base measures 8-7/8 x 5-1/2" and I scored it at 2-1/2 and 6-3/4" on the longer side. It's slightly larger than an A2 card base so that the left front flap overlaps the right front flap.

I have had the Spooky Girl stamp on my desk all month just waiting to get inky and it was finally her time! I stamped her with Gina K. Black Amalgam ink and then colored her up with the following Copic markers:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11
Hair ~ YG11, YG23
Hat ~ N0, N2, N4, N6,BV00, BV11, YR15, YR21, YR68
Clothes ~ N0, N1, N2, N3, N4, N6, BV00, BV11

I fussy cut Spooky Girl and cleaned up the edges with a Memento Tuxedo black marker. And then popped her up with some foam tape to add dimension!

Don't forget to add a touch of fun to the inside of your cards!! I adhered a strip of pattern paper and did a little third generation stamping for a couple of the spooky images for the inside using the adorable Little Boos stamp kit. A fun way to tie in the whole theme of the card and leave space to write to your recipient. I stamped the sentiment from the Creepy Spooky & Scary Itty Bitty stamp to finish off my card.

Third Generation Stamping is when you ink up your stamp, stamp the image twice on a scrap of paper, and then stamp it one last time for a lighter shade.

There's just a few days left to join in the fun over at the Unity Show & Tell group! I know Halloween is just a couple of days away but that doesn't mean we can't start working on our cards for next year!

Hello Pumpkin ~ All Things Halloween Challenge ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I am back with another Halloween card for the All Things Halloween Challenge going on this month in the Unity Show & Tell group! Today I decided to make a Halloween card using Fall stamps. Not every Halloween card needs to be spooky or scary... and not every Halloween card has to have your typical Halloween theme of spiders, bats, witches or jack-o-lanterns! So if you don't necessarily have a lot of Halloween stamp in your stash that's totally fine... maybe you have a super cute Fall stamp that will work just as nicely.

I wanted to make a cute Halloween card for a friend of mine who doesn't really celebrate Halloween but I didn't want her to feel left out when I send out my Halloween cards. So I stamped the adorable Hello Pumpkin Itty Bitty stamp with Gina K. Black Amalgam ink. I then die cut the image with a Wonky Stitched Circle die from Gina Marie Designs.

I colored up this adorable Fall stamp with the following copic markers:

Owl ~ W00, W1, W3, W5, YR15, YR68, C00, C2
Pumpkin ~ YR15, YR21, YR68, E11, E23, E25
Leaves ~ Y15, Y35, R14, R27, YR15, YR68, G24, G46
Grounding ~ E11, E23, E25

I paired this cute stamp up with some fun Fall papers from my stash called Hello Fall. And even cut strips from the lined papers in the paper pack to add some interest where my focal image would be placed.

Of course to finish off the card I needed a sentiment and I just love the font for this one from the Hallow's Eve Tree stamps. The texture in Halloween is eye-catching! I adhered the sentiment to the focal image and then popped them both up with foam tape... gotta love that added dimension!

Thanks SO much for stopping by today! I sure hope you'll join in the fun over at the Unity Show & Tell group! I can't wait to see all your amazing and fun Halloween creations! I'll see you all back here next Thursday with another fun Halloween project for the All Things Halloween Challenge!
