Scrapping for Less ~ February 2020 Flavor of the Month Card Kit ~ Sneak Peek

Hello there crafty friend!

Today, I'm sharing the last sneak peek of the February 2020 Flavor of the Month card kit called It's All About the Girls!! Oh my goodness... I was so excited to see this beautiful face stamp when I received my card kit!! I couldn't wait to ink her up and color!!

When I was looking through the papers in the first collection, I had the idea for this card form in my mind. I trimmed the striped layer of paper down to 4-1/8 x 5-3/8" and ran the rose paper through my big shot with a stitched rectangle die. I adhered the papers together and then wrapped the wide black ribbon around and tied a faux bow... it's actually just a knot and I trimmed the tails to make it look like a bow. Now, I will mention that the black ribbon is from my stash and not included in the collection. I couldn't resist... the design called for it! Anywho, I stamped the beautiful image onto white card stock with Memento Tuxedo black ink (masking the lips) and then I stamped the lips with a light pink dye ink. I then colored the image with the following copic markers:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E21

Hair ~ B41, C3, C5, C7, C9

Lips ~ R81, R83, R85, RV29

I wanted to take the shine on her lips just one more step so I added some glossy accents... Wow! It really made a difference! I love how it turned out! I die cut another piece of white card stock with the Frilly Lace Nested Rectangle die by Gina Marie Designs. I trimmed down the colored image to fit on the die cut piece, fussy cutting around the top of the face and hair and then I adhered it down.

I popped up the main panel with foam squares. To finish off the card, I added a few of the enamel dots included in the collection and then added the sentiment sticker, also included in the collection.

Scrapping for Less ~ May 2019 Flavor of the Month Sneak Peek

Hello there crafty friends!

I have a fabulous sneak peek today for the May 2019 Flavor of the Month card kit!

Each month I am blown away by these fabulous kits... Absolutely love this month's kit!!

I did a little stamping on my pink card front using VersaMark watermark ink so the little butterflies are faint in the background. Love the subtle touch it gives! I added a strip of one of the gorgeous papers in the collection and then set the card aside. I stamped all of my images onto a small piece of white card stock measuring 2-3/4" x 3-3/4". I stamped the images again on post it notes, fussy cut them out and the applied them to the stamped images. I then lightly blended my background... when done, I removed the masks and colored the sweet images with the following Copic markers:

Butterflies ~ BG000, BG01, BG53

Skin ~ E000, E00

Wings ~ RV0000, RV10

Hair ~ RV10, RV11, RV21

Dresses/Shoes ~ YG0000, YG23, YG25

I mat the focal image with the green card stock in the kit and popped it up on the card with foam tape from my stash. I stamped the sentiment on a strip of white card stock and then partially popped it up (on the bottom) and adhered the top portion with liquid glue. To finish off the card, I added a few sequins in groups of two. So cute!!

Scrapping for Less ~ Sneak Peek ~ January 2019 Flavor of the Month Card Kit

Hello there! Today, I'm sharing a Sneak Peek of the January 2019 Flavor of the Month card kit from Scrapping for Less. Oh my goodness!! This kit is amazing! I know... I say that every month but they just keep getting more and more amazing!!

I had fun with a bunch of layers for this one... I just love the Echo Park Coffee papers!! But if you follow my blog... you know I love these papers since I've been using them for my last few posts! LOL

Isn't this stamp just so adorable!!

I used the following Copic markers:

I added some glossy accents from my stash to the barrette. How cute! I love it!

Scrapping for Less ~ Sneak Peek September Flavor of the Month Card Kit

Hello! It's the Monday before the reveal of the new September 2018 Flavor of the Month card kit for Scrapping for Less... you know what that means!! I'm here with the first Sneak Peek!!

Eeek! You can just guess that I'm loving this month's kit! It's full of all kinds of yummy Fall goodness... and an adorable owl!! Oh My Goodness!! Love this sweet owl!

Here's another view... I have 3 layers for the die cut 'thankful' that I colored with Copic markers.

I used the following Copic markers for this card ~ Y000, Y06, Y17, YR15, YR68, E000, E11, E24, E35, E50, E55, E70, BV23.

Scrapping For Less ~ December Flavor of the Month Sneak Peek

Hello! I have a super quick and cute sneak peek for the fabulous December Flavor of the Month card kit!! These sneak peeks are hard... I love giving you peeps the details! Ha!

Without revealing too many details, I inked up these adorable owls and the sentiment in Memento tuxedo black ink and then colored them in using copic markers {N0, N1, N2, N3, N5, RV0000, RV11, RV21, YR12, YR24, Y06, E55, B0000, 0}.

I added a couple strips of pretty paper and there you have a quick sneak peek! I hope you're excited for the blog hop tomorrow... I know I am!

November FOTM Sneak Peek!!!

Hello and Happy almost Thanksgiving! I have a cute sneak peek of the November Flavor of the Month card kit!! OMG! I am loving this card kit! Teresa and Kim are really putting some fabulous kits together!

Since this is a sneak peek, I don't want to spill the beans *wink* *wink* but I am in love with a certain collection in the card kit!! OMG! 

For this card I created a background for my card base and then cut a strip of white and added some patterned papers to layer. I colored the cup and steam using copic markers. I adhered all the layers to the card base and then stamped my sentiment. I added a couple embellishments and called it done!

Do you ever get so many card ideas that you just don't know what to do? I was really struggling on a design for this one... just too many ideas. So I decided to check out some of my favorite sketch challenge sites and decided to play along with CASE this Sketch! I thought it was a fun sketch and it finally got me inky!

October Flavor of the Month ~ Sneak Peek!!

Hello! Today I'm sharing a cute Sneak Peek for the October Flavor of the Month card kit! I am loving this month's kit!! This card is just a tiny peek at some of the amazing products included in this month's kits!!

I love Christmas and I am seriously a hoarder of Christmas pattern papers! I have to say the papers in the kits this month are so amazing!! Love them all! For this card, I die cut a couple strips of the papers using a stitched border die. I layered those on a piece of green card stock and then adhered the entire piece to a white card base. 

Have you ever noticed how some 6x6 paper pads of patterned paper have that little strip along the top?! Since I'm a hoarder of Christmas paper you can just bet that I carefully remove those pieces from the paper pad and use them whenever I can. In this case, I used a fun red piece behind the sentiment. Since I knew the sentiment was rather large I was able to cover up the hole that was in that strip of paper... love it!! 

My last little touches to this card was some clear wink of stella to the sentiment (you can kind of see that in the picture) and a couple dots in the corner. I sure hope that you like my sneak peek for you. Be sure to come by tomorrow for another sneak peek from the Design Team!!
