Membership Wednesday ~ September 2025 BOM Merry Multipack ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a cute holiday card featuring the fabulous September 2025 Background of the Month membership called Merry Multipack from Unity Stamp Co. And I paired it up with the adorable bunny from the September 2025 Kit of the Month, also from Unity.

I placed the Merry Multipack background stamp in my Stamp Platform and inked up the reindeer and 'ho ho ho' portions of the stamp with Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink. After getting a nice crisp stamped image for those two sections, I cleaned off the stamp. And then I inked up the candy cane stripes and the plaid with Lumberjack Plaid Distress Ink.

I die cut the background using the largest die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}. And then I adhered it to a white A2 top fold card base. I stamped the cute bunny and sentiment with Black Amalgam ink and colored the bunny up with Copic markers.

Here's a list of the Copic markers I used:
Bunny: W0, W2, W3, W5, R00, R20
Hat: R20, R14, R27, C0, C2
Ornament: YG11, G24, G46
Greenery: YG11, G24, R27

I fussy cut around the bunny leaving a white border and then adhered it directly to the card. I trimmed the sentiment and popped it up on the card with foam tape.

Membership Wednesday ~ July 2025 BOM Sunny Side Up ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a fun card using the spotlight technique featuring the awesome Sunny Side Up background stamp from the July 2025 Background of the Month membership.

Usually I color the spotlight when I do this technique, but this time I wanted to change things up and spotlight just the stamp in black and white.

I die cut the one flower using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} and then colored the background using a handful of Copic markers. I used B000, BV00, BV02, Y11, Y15.

I die cut the panel using the largest die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} and adhered it to a white A2 top fold card base. I popped up the spotlight circle using foam tape and then I trimmed the sentiment from the July 2025 Kit of the Month and adhered it across the card.

Membership Wednesday ~ June 2025 BOM Check it Out ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a quick masculine card featuring an older stamp from Unity along with the awesome Check it Out background stamp from the June 2025 Background of the Month membership.

I stamped the awesome background directly onto the front of a white A2 top fold card base with Black Amalgam ink and distressed the edges with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink. So super easy and it looks just like a chess board.

My oldest son likes to play chess so I thought I'd make him a chess themed birthday card. I remembered the chess pieces from an old KOM and after a bit of investigating I found it. It's in the December 2018 KOM called Best Friend Till the End. I stamped them with Black Amalgam ink and colored them with just a few Copic markers - E000, E21, E33.

I die cut the chess pieces using a square die from the Scallops & Squares {nesting dies} and distressed the edges very lightly using residual ink on my brush. I then adhered it to a black mat that I die cut with the next largest die. The fun sentiment is a new fave from the Ween Party Crew stamps that I heat embossed using Ultra Fine Embossing Powder Raven embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. I trimmed up the sentiment and mat it with some leftover black card stock. Easy peasy and I sure hope he likes it.

Here's a quick look at this month's Background of the Month membership!

Membership Wednesday ~ April 2025 BOM Mod Bloom ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a card featuring this month's fab background stamp from the April 2025 Background of the Month membership from Unity called Mod Blooms.

I wanted to try a fun technique with Distress Crayons where I colored the rubber stamp, spritzed the stamp with a bit of water and then stamped the image. It worked pretty well. I went back in with the crayons to add a bit of detail.

I used Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, and Twisted Citron Distress Crayons. And then I used a Tumbled Glass Distress Crayon to watercolor around the flower.

I die cut the flower using a stitched rectangle die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}. I die cut a piece of white card stock using the largest die from the Postage Stamp {nesting dies}. And then I adhered all of my layers to a white A2 top fold card base.

Here's a quick look at this month's Background of the Month membership! So many fun ideas for this stamp! Well, that's it for me today! I hope you've been inspired to play with your membership stamps! Have an INKredible day!

Membership Wednesday ~ March 2025 BOM Mandala of the Heart ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a quick birthday card featuring the gorgeous background stamp from the March 2025 Background of the Month membership from Unity called Mandala of the Heart.

I love this beautiful stamp! I embossed it on Kraft card stock from Papertrey Ink using Sugar Cube Pigment Ink from Taylored Expressions along with Alabaster White Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe. My favorite combo for a bright white embossed image!

I melted the embossing powder with a Wagner Precision Heat Tool. I kept this card very simple by just stamping the background three times with the beautiful stamp directly on the front of a kraft A2 card base. No extra layers or die cutting.

I also heat embossed the sentiment. I thought about using one of the fab sentiments that comes with the background stamp, but I like to keep my birthday card stash full so I thought it would make a lovely birthday card. I used a sentiment from the Ween Party Crew stamps.

Here's a quick look at this month's Background of the Month membership! I adore this stamp!

Membership Wednesday ~ February 2025 BOM Petal Fusion ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a pretty card featuring the gorgeous February 2025 Background of the Month membership from Unity called Petal Fusion.

I colored up all the pretty flowers in this fantastic background stamp using my Copic markers. Definitely had Spring on my mind!

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
White Flowers: C00, C2
Pink Flower: R00, R21, R43
Blue Flower: B000, B00, B02
Yellow Flowers: Y11, Y15
Purple Flowers: V000, V12
Orange Flowers: YR000, YR21, YR15
Flower Centers: Y11, Y15, Y17

I wanted to add some dimension to the card so I die cut the panel with the three big scallop dies from the BIG Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}.

I adhered the center panel directly to the white A2 top fold card base. I then popped up the middle panel using foam tape. And I adhered the outer panel directly to the card base. I love the fun dimension it gives to the card.

You can see more of the dimension in this photo. To finish off the card I fussy cut the sentiment from the February 2025 Kit of the Month called The Sweetest Spring.

Here's a quick look at this month's Background of the Month membership! Love it!

Membership Wednesday ~ Dec. 2024 and Jan. 2025 Background of the Month ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a trio of cards featuring not one, but TWO fabulous Background of the Month stamps from Unity. I used the January 2025 Background of the Month and the December 2024 Background of the Month.

I seriously love the Faded Roses background stamp from last month's BOM. They are stunning! I was curious to see how they would look with this month's Damask Grunge background stamp. I love the texture this month's BOM gives to the roses!

I stamped the Damask Grunge with Lost Shadow Distress Ink on Stampers Select White card stock from Papertrey Ink. I stamped the Faded Roses with Mermaid Lagoon and Villainous Potion Distress Inks. I also stamped the sentiment for this one using the same two inks.

I was also curious to see how these colors would look on Kraft card stock from Papertrey Ink. I love it! All the same colors for this one. The only difference is the sentiment is heat embossed with white pigment ink and white embossing powder on kraft card stock. The sentiment is from the Extended Celebration {Front & Center Stamps}.

I also wanted to see how Festive Berries Distress Ink would look with the Lost Shadow Distress Ink on Kraft card stock. It was a fun inky time of experimenting!! LOL! And I got three cards out of it. All of the background panels were die cut using the largest die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}.

Here's a look at the Faded Roses background stamp.

And a look at this month's Background of the Month membership! Love them both!

Well, that's it for me today! I hope you've been inspired to play with your membership stamps!
Have an inkredible day!

Membership Wednesday ~ November 2024 UU Snow Buddies & BOM Evergreen Wonderland ~ Unity Stamp Co.

  Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a sweet holiday card featuring the adorable snowman from the November 2024 Uniquely Unity membership called Snow Buddies and I paired him up with the fantastic background stamp from the November 2024 Background of the Month membership from Unity called Evergreen Wonderland. These two fabulous stamps were made for each other!!

I inked smooshed a background very lightly with Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide inks. I purposely left a lot of white space in the background. I dried the background completely with a Wagner Precision heat tool. And then I heat embossed the fab Evergreen Wonderland on the background. I prepped the card stock with the TE Anti-Static Powder Tool, stamped with Sugar Cube White Pigment ink from Taylored Expressions and dusted the background with Alabaster White Embossing powder. And then I melted the powder with my heat tool.

I stamped the sweet snowman using Black Amalgam ink from Gina K. Designs. I colored him up with my Copic markers and then fussy cut the little scene leaving a white border around the images.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Snowman: B0000, B00
Nose: YR15
Hat / Scarf: C0, C1, C3, V000, V12, V15
Around the Buttons: C0, C1
Snowy Ground: B0000, B00

I cut a simple hill from white card stock and adhered it to the background. I adhered the background to a white A2 top fold card base. Stamped the sentiment, trimmed it and popped it up on the card with foam tape. I adhered the snowman scene directly to the card.

Here's a quick look at this month's Uniquely Unity membership! Isn't it just the sweetest?!

Membership Wednesday ~ October 2024 UU Simply Holiday Deer with BOM Holiday Jingle ~ Unity Stamp Co.

  Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing another pretty holiday card featuring the fantastic background stamp from the October 2024 Background of the Month membership from Unity called Holiday Jingle. This time I paired it up with the gorgeous stamps in the October 2024 Uniquely Unity membership. I just can't get enough of these fabulous holiday stamps this month!

I stamped the gorgeous Holiday Jingle background onto True Black card stock from Papertrey Ink using Wow Clear Embossing ink and dusted the wet ink with Night Red Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe. This fun embossing powder actually came in a set of three for a special Halloween mix. No clue if it's still available. I just wanted to try a red and this was the only thing close to red in my stash.

I stamped the sweet deer and two of the trees using Black Amalgam ink from Gina K. Designs. I colored them up with my Copic markers and then fussy cut them leaving a white border around the images.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Deer: E21, E23, E25, C00, C2
Scarf: C00, C1, C2, R20, R14, R46
Ornaments: R20, R14, R46, YG11, G24, G46, Y11, Y15
Trees: YG11, G24, G46

A tore a scrap of Stampers Select White Card Stock from Papertrey Ink and adhered it to the bottom of the 4 x 5-1/4" black background. I adhered the trees and deer to the card. Stamped the sentiment using Candied Apple Distress Ink on a scrap of white card stock. Trimmed it up and adhered it to the card too. No foam tape for this one! The panel was adhered to a white A2 top fold card base.

Membership Wednesday ~ October 2024 BOM Holiday Jingle ~ Unity Stamp Co.

  Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a pretty simple holiday card featuring the fantastic background stamp from the October 2024 Background of the Month membership from Unity called Holiday Jingle. I used one of my favorite color combos of kraft and red... love it!

The beautiful background was stamped on Kraft card stock with Candied Apple Distress Ink. I mat it with Pure Poppy card stock from Papertrey Ink. And then adhered the panel to a Kraft A2 top fold card base.

My sweet card was inspired by an adorable card by Julissa Sargo that is included with this month's Background of the Month membership. Did you know that some of the members of the Unity Design Team share step-by-step instructions of cards for the memberships each month? I just had to CASE Julissa's card and put my own twist on it!

The adorable chicken from Hold on Santa was colored up with Copic markers. I die cut the sweet chicken using a die from the Scallops & Banners {nesting dies} and the sentiment and mat were die cut using a pair of dies from the Scalloped & Stitched Sentiment Nesting Dies. I distressed the edges of the chicken and sentiment with a bit of Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The chicken banner and sentiment are both popped up on the card with foam tape. I finished off the card with a few shiny pieces of confetti from the Hologram Red Card Bling set from A Colorful Life Designs.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Chicken: E21, E23, E25
Beak: YR21, YR15
Feet: YR15, YR27
Wattle: R00, R14, R46
Hat: C00, C2, R20, R14, R46
Ground: E21, E23

Membership Wednesday ~ September 2024 BOM Boo Brigade ~ Unity Stamp Co.

  Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a fun ink smooshed card featuring the awesome ghost background stamp from the September 2024 Background of the Month membership from Unity called Boo Brigade. I love using yellowish greens for ghosts.

I started by ink smooshing a bit of Squeezed Lemonade and Twisted Citron Distress Inks on a card front of Stampers Select White card stock from Papertrey Ink. I left some white spots on the card front to coordinate a bit with the focal image and sentiment. I stamped the fun Boo Brigade background stamp using the Twisted Citron Distress Ink. And then I die cut the background using the largest die from the Deckle & Stitches Nesting Dies.

I stamped the sweet ghost from {Clearly Unity} Boo to You using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. So fun to have photopolymer stamps now! I die cut the ghost using a circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} and then I die cut the circle using the largest die from the Deckle & Stitches Nesting Dies. That way it had the same edge and I could just line it up with the edge when I adhered it to the card.

I Copic colored the ghost very simply with YG21, YG11 and a Colorless Blender; and for the pumpkin I used YR000 and YR15. I stamped the sentiment and fussy cut it. And then I adhered the sentiment to the half circle and added foam tape to the back of both and popped them up on the card. A quick and easy Halloween card for my stash! Love it!

Here's a quick look at this month's Background of the Month membership! So much fun!
