Scrapping for Less ~ Fall Inspired Memory Dex Cards

Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a couple Fall inspired Memory Dex cards using the newly released Scallop Flower Create-a-Dex die set from Scrapping for Less along with a few other fun products from the shop!

How cute are these?! I used the pretty Always Changing papers for these sweet Memory Dex cards with the Autumn Blessings die and the Sweater Weather stamp set. Now, I've shared a few different cards using the Autumn Blessings die... I love the beautiful font in this die!! Check out my Cozy Fall card, my Let's Bundle Up card, and my Fall is Coming card for more inspiration with these products.

A closer look at the Fall Sweet Fall memory dex card... I love the colors in these papers! I used the following copic markers on this card ~ YG03, YR12, YR16, BG0000, BG01, BG11, BG23.

I'm entering my Fall coffee themed memory dex card in the Fall | Winter 2020 Coffee Lovers Hop... I adore the CLC hop each time it comes around and just can't help but play along as much as I can!

Today is the last day to play along in the hop... but you should check it out! Lots and lots of fabulous inspiration from all kinds of talented cardmakers!! Okay... back to my cards.. lol

I have a little video sharing the coloring and assembling of this card. You can check that out here...

And a closer look at my second memory dex card using the Autumn Blessings die and I created a pretty Fall flower using the stitched flower that's included in the Scallop Flower Create-a-Dex die set. I die cut the flower three times and using my bone folder I rounded the petals a bit. The brad that I added in the center of the flower is from my stash... I'm actually not sure where it's from.

I finished off the memory dex card with a few orange enamel dots from Carta Bella's Fall Break collection. I just love how these turned out!! That's it for me this week... I'll see you next week with my sneak peek for the November FOTM card kit!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal

Here's a quick look at the October 2020 Flavor of the Month Card Kit ~ Christmas is Covered...

Banana Split Subscription...

Ohhh... the Christmas kit is always my favorite and this one is amazing!

Let's get to the cards!!

Collection One: Classic Cardinals
I used two pretty patterned papers for my background on this card. I stamped the focal image using Memento Tuxedo black ink on white card stock that I die cut with the Tag Die included in the Banana Split subscription. I will be using this Tag Die a lot! I love it! I popped up the tag with foam squares and added a little red bow and a couple enamel dots to finish this one off. I also made my Sneak Peek with this collection, you can check that out here if you missed it.

I used the following copic markers for this card:

Bird ~ R00, R14, R46, W2 W5, C1, C2
Holly ~ YG11, G24, G94
Berries ~ R00, R14, R46

Collection Two: Starry Night Wishes
I love snowmen... and this one is dear to my heart since I illustrated him for this kit. I think he turned out pretty cute! I knew I had to use him for this sketch... it's actually a sneak peek of our new November Sketch Challenge in the Scrapping for Less: Show & Share Facebook group. I hope you'll come check out our challenge and play along!

I used the following copic markers for this card:

Snowman ~ C00, C2
Hat, Glove & Scarf ~ B28, B41
Nose ~ YR15, YR21, YR68
Arm ~ E55, E57
Stars ~ Y000, Y06, Y35
Sky ~ B0000

Collection Three: Merry Special Delivery
The rustic papers in this collection are amazing!! I love the gray kraft color along with white and red... so beautiful! I blended some Candied Apple, Barn Door, and Black Soot over the star on the Christmas Elements Stencil that's included in the Banana Split subscription. I can see this star in so many fun colors... love it!

I stamped the little sentiment from the Merry Special Delivery stamp set using markers to ink it up... Real Red, Wild Wasabi, and Memento Tuxedo black. I finished off this card with a couple red enamel dots.

This collection also includes a couple white tags and I made these very simple... I just stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink and added a little strip of patterned paper to the bottom. And finished off the pretty ribbon for the tops.

Collection Four: Believe
The ephemera pieces in this collection are almost too cute... I almost want to just hoard them!! I love the sweet Santa! I did decide to use one for my card. I love the sentiments in the Believe stamp set too! So fun! I ended up using both on my card and adding a red enamel dot for the reindeer nose off of the 'v'. I wish I had thought to add some sparkle to the snowflake... but I still might do that!

I do have a video for this card on my YouTube channel... you can check that out here.

Here's a quick look at all the cards, plus the two tags that I created.

That's it for me this time.

Next up in the hop is... Alicia AKA Crafty Al!!

Scrapping for Less ~ Autumn Blessings & Sweater Weather

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a sweet Fall card using one of my favorite Scrapping for Less dies... the Autumn Blessings die, along with a cute coffee stamp that I just adore that's from the Sweater Weather stamp set by Paper Sweeties! Shall we have a look?

I just happened to have a few pieces of the gorgeous Cozy Fall papers left over and they were absolutely perfect for this card design. I love sweaters! I'm a sweater loving, Fall loving kinda gal and the beautiful designs in these papers just make my heart happy!

And since I was already planning on making a couple more Fall cards to send out, it just made sense to use my favorite Autumn Blessings die! This die does take a bit of patience as there's four separate pieces (not including the dot for the 'i'), but once you have it all adhered together it is SO worth it!!

This was the first card I made while planning out my design. I love love love that floral piece behind the focal piece. The rich reds and greens on the black background is just stunning. I pulled my color palette for the cards from the papers and I think they turned out really pretty!

I used the following Copic Markers for these cards:

Leaves ~ YG03, YG63
Berries ~ R000, R37
Flowers ~ YR14, YR15, YR21, YR24
Mug ~ E41, E43
Grounding ~ N0, N1

Here's the two cards together. You can check out my process video for my card... here!

Surprise! I have a bonus card to share! I also had these scraps left over from my Cozy Fall paper pack and whipped up a quick card using a sentiment from the Sweater Weather stamp set along with a "Happy" die from my stash. And to finish it off I stamped the heart, also from the Sweater Weather set, a few times... even stamping off once to get a lighter heart. I used Chipped Sapphire distress ink for this little bit of stamping. Go check out these fabulous Fall products in the SFL shop!!

That's it for me this time! Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal

Scrapping for Less ~ April 2020 Flavor of the Month Card Kit ~ Sneak Peek!

Hello there crafty friend!
I am so excited to be sharing the last sneak peek of the absolutely amazing City Streets and Country Roads Card Kit that releases tonight!!! Eeep! You are going to love this kit!! It is seriously gorgeous... and amazing!!

I seriously LOVE each of the collections this month... Gorgeous!! But the Banana Split subscription this month has that extra bit of crafty goodness that just tops the cake!! How absolutely stunning is that camera with the dainty flowers and leaves...?!? I just HAD to use it for my sneak peek! I die cut it from the Neenah 110 lb. Classic Crest Smooth Solar White card stock included in the kit and colored it using copic markers that coordinated with the gorgeous papers included in the Country Roads collection:

Flowers ~ R0000, R14, R56
Leaves ~ Y11, Y13, Y15, E41, YG91, YG93
Camera ~ N0, N2, N4, N6

I colored most of the pieces while keeping the die cuts intact, but some of the camera pieces were so small I took them out and colored them. I then adhered the entire die cut piece to a piece of white copy paper and fussy cut it around the edges.

I trimmed the beautiful patterned papers and adhered them together. I then wrapped a pretty yellow ribbon from another collection around the layers and adhered the panel to a white card base from my stash. I then die cut a piece of white card stock with the Stitched Arch STAX die... adding this piece helped the gorgeous camera to pop on the card. I stamped the empowering sentiment from Your Best Life stamp set in Collection Two with VersaFine Onyx Black Pigment Ink and die cut it with a banner die. I added a tiny piece of patterned paper to the edge of that sentiment and then popped it up on the card. To finish off the card, I added a few of the black sequins included in the Banana Split subscription. So... I used three of the collections and a couple of elements from the Banana Split to make this beautiful card!! I am telling you this kit is A MUST HAVE!!! Go subscribe here ---> City Streets and Country Roads Card Kit!!

Be sure to come back tonight at midnight EST to check out the reveal of the card kit and to hop with us as the design team shares all kinds of amazing inspiration!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal
