Release Day Blog Hop ~ Party Animals ~ The Greeting Farm

The February 2025 New Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new stamp sets. Our first set called SNAPSHOT ANYA features our picture perfect girl using her new Polaroid Camera as her friends strike a pose. Next, we brought you all the cute TGF critters ready to wish you a happy birthday in a set called PARTY ANIMALS. Lastly, we introduced MISS ANYA RED CARPET which is the perfect set for prom or a fancy night out.

I found some cute papers in my stash to make my card for today. I masked the adorable Party Animals stamp using a post-it note to cover a portion of the goose. I also used my mask from the card the other day to cover the critters so I could stamp the balloon. I knew it would be cut off a bit when I die cut the image so I stamped it again on a scrap of card stock, along with the cake and party hat. I die cut the image with a X Stitched Circle die from Gina Marie Designs. I stamped and trimmed the sentiment. And then I popped up the focal image and sentiment with foam tape. I finished up the card with a few glittery pink enamel dots from the Cherry Blossom Spring Cottage enamel dots from Not 2 Shabby.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Bunny: W00, W1, W3, R00, R20
Bear: E70, E71, E74, N0, N2, N4, N6
Bird: Y21, Y15, YR15
Fox: E30, E31, E35, E37, N0, N2, N4
Goose: C00, C2, YR21, YR15
Table: E50, E53, E55
Background: B0000
Balloon / Hat / Plate: G000, G00, G02
Cake: E21, E23, E27, YR21, YR15, RV10, RV02

My card design was inspired by the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 29.

Coffee for All Seasons ~ Not 2 Shabby ~ Coffee Loving Papercrafters

 Hello there crafty friend!
I’m back as a guest designer for the month of February for the Coffee Loving Papercrafters!

Today I'm sharing a set of caffeinated seasonal cards that I created using awesome papers and fun ephemera from Not 2 Shabby. I am a huge fan of Not 2 Shabby's papers and coordinating ephemera. I have oodles and oodles and was happy to finally play with some of my stash.

First up is a lovely Valentine's Day card I created using the Lattes of Love 6x6 Paper Pad and the coordinating Lattes of Love Ephemera. I used all kinds of papers from the pack for all of my layers even the mats for my panels. And I used five different ephemera pieces for my focal piece.

Up next is a wonderful card for Summer... I used the gorgeous Make It Iced 6x6 Paper Pad and coordinating Make It Iced Ephemera. So many fab girls and summer drinks in this one! Love it! I used three pieces of ephemera for the focal image for this one and then a sentiment I added near the bottom of the card.

My third card features one of my favorite paper pad and ephemera pairings... the gorgeous Give Thanks 6x6 Paper Pad and coordinating Give Thanks ephemera. I love the beautiful pumpkins in these papers. I used three ephemera pieces for this one.

My card design was inspired by one of my favorite sketch from the {BYSHC} group... {BYSHC} Sketch 7. Lots of fun layers and endless possibilities! All of my measurements are directly from the sketch.

Lastly, I just had to share a Christmas card. I love making them all year long! I used the adorable Brewing It Up 6x6 Paper Pad along with the Brewing It Up Ephemera. I used just two ephemera pieces for my focal image and then I fussy cut the sentiment from a third ephemera piece. So cute and so much fun to make! I hope you've been inspired to get crafty with some coffee papers and ephemera in your stash.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 54 ~ Gnome for Christmas ~ Club Scrap

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a little inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 54 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing another sweet holiday card again featuring fun papers from our wonderful brand new sponsor, Club Scrap!

So since I'm new to Club Scrap I only have a couple of products from them. Which means I'm playing with the Gnome for Christmas Maze Book in a Box again. I love the fun papers in this pack! Aren't the snowman, gingerbread and gnome just too cute?!

I am in love with this textured paper! I used the same measurements as last time which are on the sketch except for the red layer isn't a 4 x 5-1/4" card front. Because I only have so much of the paper in this kit, I decided to cut it down to just 4 x 2".

I trimmed up the focal image leaving a bit of a border around the edge and then I popped it up using foam tape. And then I finished off the card with a few brown enamel dots from the Winter Berry Branch enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 54 for the month of February. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! The design team, as always, rocked this sketch!

See ya next time.

Miss Anya Red Carpet ~ Preview Day 3 ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's the final day of previews at The Greeting Farm for the February release! Introducing Miss Anya Red Carpet! She is so gorgeous and perfect for the red carpet.

Miss Anya is a star with this stamp set! I stamped her directly on my panel of white card stock and stamped her again on masking paper. After placing the mask over Miss Anya, I was then able to stamp the limousine over top making it appear as if it's behind her. If I had planned a bit more ahead I would have stamped the pup first, masked it and stamped Anya, masked her, and then stamped the limo... but I digress. LOL!

I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them up with Copic markers. I also colored up a simple scene for my card using Copics.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, R00, R20
Hair: Y21, E42, E43, E44
Dress / Shoes: RV10, RV02, RV23, RV14
Clutch: BG10, BG01, BG13
Rose: R20, R14, R37, YG11, YG63
Pup: C00, C2, R00, R20, RV10, RV02, RV23, RV14
Limo: N0, N2, N4, N6, C00, C2
Red Carpet: R20, R14, R37
Ground: N2, N3, N4
Sky: Y000, Y11
Stars: Y11,Y15

I stamped the stars around Anya using Mustard Seed Distress Ink... a safe ink for Copic coloring. I die cut the panel with the Big and Little Chain Rectangle dies from Gina Marie Designs. I fussy cut the pup on the line and colored the edges of my fussy cutting with a black marker. I also fussy cut the rose but I left a thin border around the edges.

I stamped the sentiment, trimmed it and adhered it to the card. So fun! The release goes live in the store on the 15th at 12am EST! Woohoo!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Party Animals ~ Preview Day 2 ~ The Greeting Farm

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 2 of previews at The Greeting Farm for the February release. Today we're celebrating a birthday with the Party Animals!

I created a sweet scene using stamps from the Party Animals stamp set. I stamped the critters a second time on masking paper and then stamped the balloons. All the other accessories I stamped out and fussy cut being sure to tidy up my fussy cutting by coloring the edge with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker.

I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored them up with Copic Markers. I used a bunch of markers so the list is a bit long this time:
Bunny: C00, C2, R00, R20
Bear: E30, E31, E35, E37, E39, N0, N2, N4, N6
Bird: Y11, Y15, B0000, B000, B00, YR15
Fox: E51, E13, E95, E97, YR27, N2, N4, N6
Goose: C00, C2, YR21, YR15
Raccoon: N0, N2, N4, N6
Owl: C00, C2, W00, W1, W3, YR21, YR15
Hedgehog: C00, C1, E53, E55, E57, R00, R20
Deer: E51, E21, E23, E25, E27, N0, N2, N4, N6, Colorless Blender
Squirrel: W00, W1, W3
Crown: Y11, Y15, Y28
Party Hats / Balloons: R000, R20, V000, V12, Y11, Y06
Cake: E30, E31, R000, R20, Y11, YR21, YR15
Plates: V000, V12
Crumbs: E30, E31
Gift: R000, R20
Background: B0000, B000

I paper pieced a table for the party from a fun paper pack in my stash. I die cut the panel with an X Stitched die from Gina Marie Designs.

I adhered the panel to a black A2 top fold card that I turned on it's side for a landscape card. I trimmed up the sentiment and mat it with black card stock and then popped it up with foam tape. Such a fun card to make! I enjoyed coloring all the critters and accessories for the scene. The release goes live in the store on the 15th at 12am EST.

Membership Wednesday ~ February 2025 BOM Petal Fusion ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a pretty card featuring the gorgeous February 2025 Background of the Month membership from Unity called Petal Fusion.

I colored up all the pretty flowers in this fantastic background stamp using my Copic markers. Definitely had Spring on my mind!

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
White Flowers: C00, C2
Pink Flower: R00, R21, R43
Blue Flower: B000, B00, B02
Yellow Flowers: Y11, Y15
Purple Flowers: V000, V12
Orange Flowers: YR000, YR21, YR15
Flower Centers: Y11, Y15, Y17

I wanted to add some dimension to the card so I die cut the panel with the three big scallop dies from the BIG Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}.

I adhered the center panel directly to the white A2 top fold card base. I then popped up the middle panel using foam tape. And I adhered the outer panel directly to the card base. I love the fun dimension it gives to the card.

You can see more of the dimension in this photo. To finish off the card I fussy cut the sentiment from the February 2025 Kit of the Month called The Sweetest Spring.

Here's a quick look at this month's Background of the Month membership! Love it!

Well, that's it for me today! I hope you've been inspired to play with your membership stamps! Have an inkredible day!
