Spring into Christmas 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Little Love Deer ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 7 of the Spring into Christmas 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party! I colored up this sweet deer while on Spring Break with the fam. I just had to make it into a card for the linky party!

I stamped the adorable deer from the Little Love Deer from our fab Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. using Black Amalgam ink from Sponsor Gina K Designs. I colored it up with a handful of Copic markers and fussy cut the image leaving a white border. Once the ink was dry, I added touches of white gel pen to the dots on the deer.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Deer: E000, E21, E23
Scarf: R20, R14, R27

I had a scrap embossed panel in my stash of scraps and I thought it would be fun to use for my background on this card. I love the texture it adds even though I covered most of it up. The panel was embossed with the retired Peaceful Poinsettia embossing folder from Sponsor Taylored Expressions.

My card was inspired by past {BYSHC} Sketch 41. I altered the measurements just a bit. For the top left piece I cut my paper to 3-1/4 x 1-3/8". The bottom left piece measures 3-1/4 x 2-1/4". And the right side piece measures 1-3/4 x 3-7/8". The pattern paper is called Christmas and it's from Carta Bella.

I die cut two circles from white card stock for the deer layers using dies from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from Unity. I adhered all of my layers using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web and then adhered the panel to a white A2 top fold card base that I turned on the side for a landscape card. I finished off the card with a few confetti pieces from the Hologram Red Card Bling from Sponsor A Colorful Life Designs.

I am having so much fun playing along with the Spring into Christmas 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party! I hope that you'll stop by the Linky Party and check out the cards that have been linked up. Lots of fabulous inspiration!! Don't forget the Linky Party ends at 11:59pm PST on Friday May 9th. Get those entries in! Have an ink-tastic day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Unity Advent Calendar 2024 Day 19 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 19 of the 2024 Advent Calendar from Unity!! We are nearing the end of this fun advent calendar. I hope you've been enjoying the inspiration!

Today's stamp is a beautiful flower. I stamped it with Black Amalgam ink and colored it up with a few Copic Markers: R00, R21, R43, G00, G43. I then die cut it with a circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} and mat it with a black circle also die cut using the same dies.

You can check out my video revealing the Advent Calendar Day 19 stamp and my process in making this card here... Unity Advent Calendar 2024 Day 19 | Unity Stamp Co.

Inspiration for my card came from the {BYSHC} Sketch 41! Another fun sketch with fun layers!

Love the vintage / gritty vibe of this one with these pretty papers! All the measurements for this sketch is on my video. They are slightly different from the sketch above.

I paired up the pretty flower with the Grit & Grace {paper pack}. I again used a cut apart sentiment that I had received in a Unity order as a freebie.

I'll be back tomorrow for Day 20 of the 2024 Advent Calendar from Unity!
Have an inktastic day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Believe in the Magic, Santa ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm so excited to share my first card for the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party hosted by the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group!! This is our fourth annual Spring Linky Party!! Woohoo! Just a note... though it has Spring in the name the linky party is focused on Christmas and wintry holiday cards. It's a great way to get ahead on those holiday cards to relieve some of the stress later on in the year during the holidays. I am super excited to add a bunch of cards to my Christmas card stash and I sure hope that you'll join in the fun.

For my first card I'm featuring the super cute Believe in the Magic, Santa Digital Stamp from our wonderful return Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs. I adore this digi stamp! I paired this sweet stamp up with the Santa's Workshop 6x6 Paper Pad from Carta Bella. I adhered all my layers to a white A2 top fold card base using the iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from our lovely Sponsor Therm O Web.

I combined and resized the Santa digi and the sentiment in a Word Document and printed it off. I then die cut it using a large stitched circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} from our fabulous Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. And then I Copic colored Santa using a bunch of Copic markers. Here's a quick list:

Skin: E000, E11, E11, R20
Hair / Beard: C00, C1, C3, Colorless Blender
Santa's Suit: R20, R14, R46, C00, C1, C3
Belt ~ N1, N3, N5, Y11, Y15
Gloves / Santa's Bag: N1, N3, N5
Bow: R20, R14, R46

I adhered my papers to a 5 x 3-3/4" piece of Real Red card stock from Stampin' Up. I adhered my panel to a 5-1/2 x 4-1/4" piece of pattern paper and then adhered the panel to a white A2 top fold card base that I turned on its side. I covered the back of the circle with foam tape and then popped it up on the card. And I finished off the card using a few enamel dots from the coordinating Santa's Workshop Enamel Dots from Carta Bella.

My card was inspired by the {BYSHC} Sketch 41 that we used back in January. This sketch has definitely become a favorite! Have you visited the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group? We host a fun sketch challenge each month to inspire our holiday cardmaking all year long. I love revisiting the sketches and will likely be sharing a few during the Linky Party.

I'm also a Sponsor for the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I have a wonderful prize set aside for one lucky winner. No picture this time. That way it'll be a fun surprise! For a chance to win my fun prize make a Christmas card and link it up to the linky party blog post on the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers blog. Stop by the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration that's already been shared from our Sponsors and the {BYSHC} Design Team!! {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 ~ Let it Snow Globe ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm sharing one last card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a sweet Christmas card featuring the adorable snowman in a snow globe from the Let it Snow Globe Digital Stamp Set from Angie Blom Digital Designs! We're changing things up for 2024 and Angie Blom Digital Designs is Sponsoring our {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41!! Angie has generously offered up two $15 e-gift certificates in Canadian currency for our Sketch 41 prizes! Woohoo! Thanks again, Angie!

I started my card by combining and resizing the digital stamps from the Let it Snow Globe digi set in a Word Document. I printed them off onto white card stock. I once again remembered to pick out my pattern papers before coloring which made it so much easier when having to pick colors to color up my snow globe.

I paired up the Let it Snow Globe digi stamp with the Milk & Cookies Paper Pad from Doodlebug Designs. The red mat for my top pattern papers is Real Red card stock from Stampin' Up and measures 5 x 3-3/4". The trees paper measures 3-1/8 x 1-1/4". The Merry Christmas paper measures 3-1/8 x 2-1/8". And the hearts paper measures 1-1/2 x 3-1/2". The star paper in the background measures 5-1/2 x 4-1/4". All my measurements are from the {BYSHC} Sketch 41 except for the red mat... I went with a smaller piece than the sketch calls for.

I colored the snow globe with some Copic markers. Fussy cut it on the line and colored the edge of the fussy cut image with a Memento Tuxedo Black markers to make the fussy cutting look nice and neat. The snow globe needed something so I decided to die cut a circle from Real Red card stock using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I just adhered all the layers to a white A2 card base. No foam tape or anything for this but I did add a couple scraps under the left side of the sentiment so it'll lay flat on the card.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

Snowman / Snow / Snowflakes: B000, B00
Hat: N0, N1, N3, N5
Holly: R20, R14, R46, YG11, G14
Scarf: BG000, BG11, BG32
Ornament / Button Hearts: R20, R14, R46
Snow Globe Base: E21, E23, E25
Twine: RV10, RV13

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 for the month of January. I am loving this sketch! So many possibilities depending on the papers you use. And the entries this month have been so amazing! {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 ~ Love Owl with Stitched Star Background ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with another Christmas card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 for the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group. Today I'm featuring the brand new Love Owl and Stitched Star Background digital stamps from our wonderful challenge sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs.

I combined and resized the Stitched Star Background and the Love Owl in a Word Document. I also added a sentiment from the Christmas Shop digital stamps and resized it. I ink smooshed a piece of white card stock using Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, and Wild Honey Distress Oxide inks being sure to keep the inks on the top half of the card stock. Dried the background with my heat tool and then I printed the combination of digital stamps onto the card stock.

I trimmed the Stitched Star Background and adhered it to a 5-1/4 x 4" piece of True Black card stock and then adhered my panel to a Stampers Select White card stock A2 card base. I colored up the sweet and adorable Love Owl using a handful of Copic markers. I fussy cut it and cleaned up the lines by coloring the edges with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Owl: E53, E55, E57, BG0000, BG000, BG02, YR15, YR27, Y11, Y15
Scarf: Y11, Y15, Y35
Branch: E53, E55
Pine Needles: YG11, G24, G46
Berries: R20, R14

I die cut a piece of vellum card stock using the X Stitched Circle die from Gina Marie Designs. I trimmed off the bottom edge of the die cut circle which I think grounds the owl. It just didn't look right with the complete circle. I adhered the owl to the vellum circle and then adhered the circle to the card by just applying glue behind the owl. I trimmed up the sentiment and adhered it to the card. To finish off the card I added a few enamel dots.

Here's another look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 for the month of January. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 ~ A Gift Just for You ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for a new sketch challenge over in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing a sweet Christmas card featuring the adorable snowman from the A Gift Just For You Digital Stamp Set from Angie Blom Digital Designs! We're changing things up for 2024 and Angie Blom Digital Designs is Sponsoring our {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41!! Angie has generously offered up two $15 e-gift certificates in Canadian currency for our Sketch 41 prizes! Woohoo! Thanks so much, Angie!

I started my card by combining and resizing the digital stamps in the A Gift Just For You digi set in a Word Document. I printed them off onto white card stock. Now, I did actually pick out my pattern papers before coloring my image... yay for remembering! But I didn't realize how bright the white focal piece would be with these papers. I think if I redid this one I'd use a Very Vanilla card stock from Stampin' Up or Vintage Cream card stock from Papertrey Ink to print of my digital stamps.

All of my paper layers are from the Authentique Snowfall Collection 6x6 paper pad. The red text pattern paper measures 5 x 3-3/4". The blue tree and snowman paper measures 3-1/8 x 1-1/4". The purple snowflakes paper measures 3-1/8 x 2-1/8". And the snowman paper measures 1-1/2 x 3-1/2". All my measurements are from the {BYSHC} Sketch 41... except the red text pattern paper. I went with a smaller piece than the sketch calls for.

Next I die cut the snowman using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. And then I colored it up with the following Copic markers:

Snowman: C00, C1, C3, YR21, YR15, R20, R14
Snow: C00, C1, C3
Hat: C00, C1, C3,
Scarf: BV0000, BV11, B21, B97, B99
Red Gift: R20, R14, YG11, G24
Green Gift: YG11, G24, R14
Blue Gift: B21, B97, B99, Y15, Y28
Banner: R20, R14

I added foam tape to the back of the die cut focal circle and popped it up on the card to finish it off.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 41 for the month of January. I am loving this sketch! So many possibilities depending on the papers you use. I'm excited to see what everyone does with it. I hope you'll join us and play along with the sketch!
