Fall Collab with Teresa ~ Mini-Remix Fall ~ The Greeting Farm

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a second card for my fun collab with my sweet friend, Teresa, from Fresh and Renewed with Teresa. It sure has been fun playing with Fall themed card making goodies that I haven't used before. Shopping your stash is so much fun! I've found some amazing things... oh boy!

I've been having fun the last couple of weeks inking up some cute stamps from The Greeting Farm so I thought I'd look through my collection and find a Fall themed stamp set that I've never inked up before. Surprisingly I only found the one Fall themed stamp set. I did find a few Halloween themed stamps that I should really ink up. They are just too cute!

I had a blast filling up a slimline card last week with all the fun Fall images so I thought I'd do another slimline card. I inked up the Mini-Remix Fall cuties using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. And I had some fun coloring them up with my Copic markers. To save time again, I only share my coloring of one of these cuties in my video {link below}.

I was looking through my slimline dies and noticed that there were a few more slimline dies hiding behind the Gina Marie Designs collection of dies... I was pleasantly surprised to find the Slimline Striped Frame Stand Alone Die Set from Trinity Stamps. No idea when I added this fun die to my collection and I am certain that I've never used it before.

I had so much fun coloring up all these cute images. Here's the list of Copic markers that I used for them all:

Skin: E000, E00, E11, E04
Anya #1: R20, R14, R46, Y11, Y06, Y15, Y38, E21, E23, E51, E55, E57, YR23, YR27, R59
Ian: Y11, Y06, Y15, Y38, YG11, YG03, YG63, E51, E55, E57, E97, E15, E09
Anya #2: YG11, YG03, YG63, E21, E23, R20, R14, R46, B41, C5, C7, C9
Anya #3: Y11, Y06, Y15, Y38, R20, R14, R46, E21, E23, E51, E55, E57, E59, YG11, YG03, YG63, YR31, E43, E44

I chose stamps and a die that I'd never used before so I had to also choose papers that I hadn't used before. The beautiful Fall Sunflower 8.5 x 11" paper pad from The Paper Studio is absolutely gorgeous. Now this paper pad hasn't been in my collection for very long. I bought it back in June during our vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks. But I've been itching to play with it!!

The beautiful sunflower also hasn't been in my collection for very long. I got it in June at The Craft Lab in Deepwater, MO. I love shopping Amy's store when we have our fun Unity Lover get togethers. She has so many wonderful products. I always find must haves while I'm there! The sunflowers are from 49 and Market and I adhered it using Ranger Multi Medium Matte.

As I mentioned above, to save some time so the video wasn't super duper long, I did most of my coloring off camera. I did record my coloring of Anya #3 though. You can check out the rest of my process in my video... Fall Sunflower Slimline Card | Fall Collab with Teresa | The Greeting Farm.

I sure hope you've enjoyed the card I shared today. I hope you'll give my YouTube channel a visit and then stop by Teresa's YouTube channel, too! As I mentioned above, I'm having a giveaway!! I still haven't put the prize together but I'll be sharing it on my YouTube channel next week when I also announce the winner from the comments on my channel and Teresa's channel!! To be eligible you must comment on each video Teresa and I both share during our whole Fall Collab... this weeks videos and last weeks videos. Hope you have an ink-tastic day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky Hugs,
Crystal

Membership Monday ~ September 2022 UU Bountiful Sunflower ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Monday! I'm sharing a pretty card using the September 2022 Uniquely Unity membership kit from Unity Stamp Co. called Bountiful Sunflower. A big, gorgeous sunflower for this month's membership stamp! I love it!! Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers and so perfect for Fall cards!

The sunflower is stamped with Gina K. Black Amalgam ink on Stampers Select white card stock from Papertrey Ink and copic colored. I used two stencils from the Tim Holtz Mini Stencil Set 5 for a bit of a background for my sunflower. I actually didn't add any ink to my blending brushes just used what was on them so I'm not sure which inks may have been on the yellow brush. I do know that I've only used the little brown blending brush with Vintage Photo Distress ink. I die cut the panel with the largest die from the Postage Stamp {nesting dies} from Unity.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used for the sunflower:

Petals ~ Y11, Y06, Y15, Y38, YR27
Center ~ E23, Y15
Stem / Leaves ~ YG01, YG03, YG67
Bud ~ YG01, YG03, YG67, Y15, Y38

I trimmed up the sentiment and mat it with a piece of Summer Sunrise card stock from Papertrey Ink. And then I adhered it to the panel. I also cut a card front measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2" of Summer Sunrise card stock. I wrapped the top corner of the postage stamp panel with a bit of {Natural} May Arts Burlap String and secured it on the back with a piece of scotch tape. I tied the other piece of string into a bow on the bottom corner. I adhered the postage stamp panel to the card front and then adhered the entire panel to a white A2 top fold card base measuring 4-1/4 x 11"; scored at 5-1/2".

Isn't that stamp just gorgeous!! So lovely and fun to color! Be sure to check out the Uniquely Unity membership over at Unity Stamp Co.

Sunflower Slimline Card ~ You Make Me Happy ~ Polka Dot Orchard

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with another fun slimline card using a beautiful digi stamp from Polka Dot Orchard called You Make Me Happy digi stamp set!! I love sunflowers! They are one of my favorite flowers and this one is so beautiful!! I just love it!

I kept this pretty card CAS with just a bit of copic coloring and a simple black mat. First I resized the images in a Word document and print them off on a piece of card stock. I then die cut the image with a Scalloped Stitched Slimline die from Gina Marie Design.

And then I colored up this beautiful image with the following Copic markers:

Water ~ B000, B00
Jar ~ BV0000, BV00, BV11
Leaves ~ YG11, YG63, YG67
Sunflower ~ Y06, Y15, Y35, E21, E25
Grounding ~ N0, N2

I wrapped the top left and bottom right corners with some May Arts Black Burlap string. I adhered the die cut and colored image to a piece of True Black card stock measuring 3-1/2 x 8-1/2" and then adhered it to a white slimline card base measuring 7 x 8-1/2", scored at 3-1/2". I just love how this turned out... I really love how the jar turned out!

Here's a quick look at the beautiful You Make Me Happy digi stamp set! So beautiful!

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm taking a little break from Christmas cards and sharing a pretty Fall inspired card using the new beautiful Flower Girl stamp from Unity Stamp Co!! I couldn't wait to ink up this beauty!

I found some fun sunflower papers in my stash to pair up with this beautiful stamp. Sadly, the company that makes the papers is no longer in business. I sure do love these papers though.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11
Hair ~ E21, E23, E27
Clothes ~ BG70, BG72, BG75, C00, C2, Y15, Y35, Colorless Blender
Sunflowers ~ Y06 Y15, Y35, Y38, YR24, YR27, E27, YG63

I die cut the Flower Girl with the Pleated Lace Mini Slimline die from Gina Marie Designs. I finished off the card with a few Irish Sparkle Glitter enamel dots, also from Gina Marie Designs.

Unity Stamp Company ~ Shimmer & Shine Sentiment Kit ~ Hello Sunshine

Hello there!
I have a lovely card to share with you today using the beautiful July 2019 Sentiment kit called Shimmer & Shine from Unity Stamp Company! I love Sunflowers!! They are one of my favorite flowers... now, I say that a lot, but Sunflowers and Daisies are seriously on the top of my list. So when I saw this gorgeous new stamp by Graciellie Design... Omg! I couldn't wait to color it!!

The tricky part in coloring this beauty was that I took it along with me on vacation and I only brought a handful of Copic markers... talk about a challenge!! I used the following Copic markers:
Stem/Leaf ~ G12, G24, G28
Flower ~ Y06, YR15, YR16, E55, E57, E59

I then fussy cut the flower and popped it up on some pretty paper from my stash... these papers are from Papertrey Ink and I think they're discontinued but they're called Library Ledger, just in case you want to check them out. I trimmed the papers and mat them with Dark Chocolate card stock and then adhered the pieces to a kraft card front measuring 5-3/8 x 4-1/8. I then adhered the entire panel to an Aqua Mist card base... both colors I used coordinate with the papers I used. My final touch was the sentiment that I trimmed down and popped up just slightly covering the bottom of the flower stem.

That's it for me today. I sure hope that you like the card I've shared today.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
See ya next time.

Growing in Unity ~ Day 3 ~ Hello!

Hello! I can't believe that it's already my third day as a Growing in Unity girl... the time is flying by!
Today, I have some of my most favorite flower stamps from Unity. If there is one thing that the artists for Unity can draw and turn into stamps, it is flowers!!! I love Unity's flower stamps! I have too many favorites... this post could go on for days, but I'm going to just focus on my two most favorite.

My first card features a daisy... I love daisies! They are my most favorite flower! The daisy stamp is from the May 2017 Free Your Dreams Kit of the Month. I stamped the daisy in Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored it in using copic markers. I stamped the daisies again on a long post it note and masked the image on my card. I then stamped the other images around the panel using distress inks and stamps from two kits... Spring Inspired Layers of Life kit and Blow Your Mind, a Jolande & Marleen kit. I just love the texture it gives to the card. I colored the background behind the daisies with some grey copics. I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it using a black detailed embossing powder. I also die cut the panel using a fun diagonal stitch rectangle die. I layered it with a light purple card stock and adhered it to my white card base. Fabulous!

My second card features my second most favorite flower... the sunflower!! This stunning sunflower is found in the September 2016 Moments Between Moments KOM. This card went in a totally different direction from what I had planned, but I absolutely love it! I stamped the image three times on white card stock using Memento Tuxedo black ink. I colored the center of the flower and cut it out. I then colored the inner petals and cut them out. Lastly, I colored the outer petals and cut the entire flower out for that layer. I set all those pieces aside and started searching for the best patterned paper... that took awhile. Ha! I wanted just the right paper! I thought these papers would be perfect so I layered them on a Dark Chocolate card base and added a little bit of ribbon. I then adhered the outer petal layer for the sunflower. I popped up the middle layer using dimensionals. I then popped up the center of the flower also using dimensionals. I just love the way this card turned out...

Here's a close up of the layers on the sunflower!! Isn't is just stunning! I love the dimension
it gives to the flower!!

I sure hope you like the cards I shared with you today! Come back tomorrow... I'll be featuring some fun coffee stamps from Unity! You won't want to miss it!

Be sure to check out Berina Febin's post today as well, she's another Growing in Unity girl this week. You can check out her blog ---> here!

Now, don't forget to leave a comment on this post to be entered into a drawing to
win a grab bag from Unity. I'll be drawing names for 2 lucky winners!!

Make It Monday #293 - Color Slider Cards

It's a new week and that means, there's a new Make It Monday Challenge over at Papertrey Ink. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to play along but I was struck with an idea this morning and just had to give it a go.

I have several family birthdays this month and I like to make individual cards for family members. I thought this technique would be a fun idea for a card for a certain someone. I want to keep it a surprise though. :)

I stamped the sunflower on a piece of white card stock and also on the clear card stock. I colored in the one on the white card stock using Copics. I decided I wanted to go with a kraft card base this time... it's just been awhile and I thought it would go with the color combo for the sunflower. I sort of followed the directions from the MIM video. I had to make some adjustments since I didn't have all the items that Lizzie used for her card.

I added some patterned paper from the Ripe Avocado pattern pack to a kraft card base. I also added a scalloped Ripe Avocado strip with a 1/8" strip of Bright Buttercup card stock. I used a die (not sure which one) to cut the top of the pull out piece. I also hand wrote 'Pull Here' because I just didn't have a stamp for that... shocker. This card was difficult to photograph so I hope it doesn't
seem to blurry to you.

Here are the products I used for this card:
Stamps: Botanical Blocks (PTI)
Tools: Stitched Rectangle Stacklets (TE), Window punch (retired SU!)

I'd love to hear what you thought of my creations.
Thanks for stopping by!

See ya next time.

Make It Monday #282 ~ Thinking of You

I really love the look of watercolor and the Make It Monday video by Betsy this week made me very happy! I love stencils and I love watercoloring!

My only problem was I don't have a stencil from Papertrey Ink. Yet! So, I cut out a 'stencil' using the cover plate Sunflower die. Got out some of my Papertrey Ink cubes and got inky! I probably should have used my smaller watercolor brush for the dots in the center of the flower but part of the fun of watercolor is the imperfect look. I cut out a stitched oval in vellum card stock and the sentiment in Dark Chocolate. Adhered those to the card by using glue just behind the sentiment so it's hidden. I adhered the whole panel onto a piece of Dark Chocolate card stock and then adhered the entire piece to a white card base. I added a few sparkling clear droplets from Katscrappiness and BAM!

Here are the products I used for this card:
Miscellaneous: Sparkling Clear Droplets (Katscrappiness)

Please leave a comment. I'd love to hear what you thought of my creation.
Thanks for stopping by!

See ya next time.
