Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Christmas Cookie Gnomies ~ Crafty Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 4 of the Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I'm adding not one, but two sweet cards to my Christmas stash! This time I played with the super cute Christmas Cookies Gnomies from our BRAND NEW Sponsor Crafty Stamp Co.

I paired up the gnomies with the Gingerbread Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad also from our new Sponsor Crafty Stamp Co.! Love these yummy papers!

Inspiration for my card came from one of our past sketches... BYSHC Sketch 29. I love using the past sketches and this one is a big favorite and great for a TWOfer!

The blue glittery background paper measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2" and it's adhered to a white A2 top fold card base. The red pattern paper layer measures 3-3/4 x 5". And then the colorful cookies and dots papers measure 3-1/2 x 4-3/4". If you'd like to see how I cut my triangles you can check out this VIDEO to see how I do it for this sketch.

I adhered all of my background layers using the iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web. The sentiments are heat embossed with my favorite combo of products. I prepped the card stock with the TE Anti-Static Powder Tool and then stamped the sentiment with Sugar Cube Pigment White ink, both from Taylored Expressions. I then dusted the wet ink with Alabaster White Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe and melted it with a Wagner Precision Heat Tool.

Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11
Mustache / Beard: C0, C2
Clothes: B000, B00, BG000, BG11
Shoes: N2, N4, N6
Gingerbread Cookie: E21, E23, E25, C0, C2, R20, R14, R27
Icing Bag: R20, R14, R27

I die cut two circles from vellum card stock using a die from the X Stitched Circle dies from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs. Looks like it's not available right now on the website... bummer.

I popped up the gnomies on the vellum circles using iCraft 3D Foam Tape Jumbo Roll (white) from Sponsor Therm O Web and then I adhered the circles to the card by just applying glue to the back of the gnomes.

Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11
Mustache / Beard: C0, C2
Clothes: R20, R14, R27, YG11, G24, G46
Shoes: N2, N4, N6
Stocking / Mitten Cookies: E21, E23, E25, C0, C2, B000, B00, BG000, BG11

If you haven't already, stop by the Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party to check out all the wonderful Holiday inspiration being shared!! So much amazing inspiration! You can't help but be inspired to make a card or two! Heehee. Have an ink-tastic week!

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 30 ~ Lucky Gnomie

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a bit more inspiration for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 30 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I had a little bit of time to draw this weekend and drew a sweet little gnome holding a shamrock.

I've called her Lucky Gnomie. I think she's pretty cute. If you'd like to play with Lucky Gnomie, I'm sharing her in my Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration group. I just ask that you don't share the photo, but invite your friends to the group so they can save it for their personal use. I printed her off just like I would a digi stamp in a Microsoft Document. And then I colored her up with Copic markers. I fussy cut her on the line and colored the edges with a black marker to make her nice and neat.

Here's a list of the Copic Markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E21
Hair: Y21, E43, E44
Hat: C00, C2, RV10, RV02
Dress: C00, C2, RV10, RV02, RV14
Shoes: C00, C2
Shamrock: YG11, YG17, G14

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 30. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it.

I paired up Lucky Gnomie with the Pot O' Gold 6x6 Paper Pad from Doodlebug Designs. I had fun with these papers since there are fun shamrocks and rainbow designs. I die cut the polka dot paper using the Make a Tag {die set} from Unity. I popped her up using foam tape. The sentiment is just printed off from my computer.

I had so much fun with this card! I hope you can find time to play along. I can't wait to see what you create. Have an ink-tastic week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 26 ~ Unity and The Greeting Farm Mash-Up

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a bit more inspiration for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 26 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I had a fun idea for using the new Distressed Tickets {ticket dies} and Grunge Cuts {tag dies} from Unity along with the sketch! They work so perfectly with this sketch!

I die cut some scraps from the beautiful Pastel Party Parade {paper pack} using dies from the Distressed Tickets {ticket dies} and adhered them to the 4 x 5-1/4" polka dot paper also from the same paper pack. And those papers are adhered to a white A2 top fold card base.

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 26. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I feel my cards are a good example of that, as I'm always making adjustments... like this time I used dies for my layers.

I die cut a piece of white card stock using a die from the Grunge Cuts {tag dies}. I stamped a beautiful sentiment from the adorable It's Your Birthday stamp set from The Greeting Farm {sadly, this cute set is not available on the website right now}. It fit perfectly on the die cut!

I popped up the sentiment with foam tape for some fun dimension. Otherwise all of my other layers are adhered directly to the card base.

I also stamped another sentiment on the inside of the card. It's also from the same stamp set. And then the adorable gnome is from Gnome Christmas, also from The Greeting Farm {this one isn't available right now either}. But if you're interested in ordering them you can request them for the upcoming Farmers Market that will be December 19th. I colored the gnome with Copic markers and then fussy cut her leaving a border.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11
Hair: E43, E44, E47
Pink Hat / Bows: RV10, RV11, RV14
White Apron / Pom Pom: C00, C2
Yellow Dress: Y11, Y15

I'm having so much fun with this sketch! I hope you can find time to play along! There's still a couple weeks left in the challenge. I can't wait to see what you create.
Have an ink-tastic week!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

~ Friends of Unity September 2024 Blog Hop ~

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for our Friends of Unity Blog Hop!! This month's cue is another one that we do just about every year, I think. It's a super fun cue because it includes all of you! I'm so excited to see the inspiration for this month's hop AND to see all the awesome cards you all are inspired to make, too!

This month's cue is a fun Color Challenge using the colors above. As always, the cue is meant to inspire, not require. In fact there's really no requirements except the use of some of these colors. You'll see some of the inspiration from our friends may have added splashes of green where the design calls for it. And neutrals are definitely fair game!

First up is a pretty Fall card using a new stamp that's really geared towards Christmas cards but I wanted to see what I could do for a Fall card. It's the A Wintry Hello stamps. I love this new stamp! And I really like how this card turned out. The sentiment is from Planner Gal: Seasonal Hello and I heat embossed it.

I paired up the beautiful deer with the gorgeous Golden Autumn Whispers {paper pack}. These papers are so rich and amazing! I love them! I think they make a great background for this majestic deer! I die cut the pattern papers using the largest die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}. I also die cut a long scrap of Early Espresso card stock {SU} to ground the deer and the scene.

I wanted to add some color to the trees since it's a Fall card and not Winter so I just added some dots of color using a few Copic markers. I toned down the white around the trees and in the deer's antlers by distressing the edges with a bit of Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Deer: E51, E55, E57
Tree Dots: Y15, YR15, R39, E55
Ground: E55, E57, N2, N4

Next up is a cute gnome card. It's been a long time since I've Copic colored on kraft and I wanted to see how this gnome would look. He's from the Sunshine & Laughter Gnome stamps. Such a cute gnome! He definitely looks shaded under that umbrella mushroom! I also used some Prismacolor white pencil for the mushroom.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Gnome Nose: E000, E00, E11, E04
Beard: C00, C3
Shoes: N2, N4, N6
Hat: Y11, Y15, YR15
Mushroom: R20, R14, R46, E51, E55, E57
Ground: E51, E55

I paired up this cutie with the beautiful Enrich the Soul {paper pack}. I die cut the pattern papers and the Kraft card stock using the largest die from the Deckle & Stitches Nesting Die Set. The scrap of Kraft card stock is also die cut using a die from the Stitched Hillside Borders die from Lawn Fawn.

The sentiment is heat embossed and die cut using a die from the Scalloped & Stitched Sentiment Nesting Dies. All the layers are adhered to a Kraft A2 top fold card base, except for the gnome. I popped him up using foam tape. And then I finished off this card with a few black enamel dots from my stash.

My third and last card is a fun Fall card with a super cute and brand new stamp that just released today! It's called Winnie the Pooh: A Brighter Day. Isn't it just the sweetest stamp?! I adore Pooh bear and this stamp! It's also available in clear photopolymer... {Clearly Unity} Winnie the Pooh: A Brighter Day.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Pooh Bear: Y11, Y15
Sunflower: Y11, Y15, Y38, YR15, E51, E55, E57
Stem / Leaves: YG11, YG03, YG95

I paired Pooh bear up with the gorgeous Thankful and Blessed Pumpkins {paper pack}. I love the gorgeous pumpkins in this paper! I think it works really nicely with the sunflower. What do you think? I die cut the pattern paper using the largest die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}.

Pooh bear was fussy cut leaving a white border around the image and then I distressed around the edges with some Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I popped up Pooh bear with a bunch of foam tape onto a couple circles I die cut from Early Espresso and Vellum card stock using dies from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. And then I just trimmed the edges off on the left side and adhered all my layers.

Now before we get to the hopping, I chose a lucky winner from the comments on last month's hop to win a fun prize and the lucky winner is...

Bunch of Tags ~ Holly Jolly Everything ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
The awesome sale over at Unity Stamp Co. continues with another HUGE release for the Black Friday Sale! Lots and lots more amazing goodies available. Including a super cute gnome illustrated by Jeanie Hays called Holly Jolly Everything! Love Jeanie's gnomes!

I thought this cutie would make a cute CAS tag... whatcha think? I couldn't help but make a bunch of them. So fun to color up this gnome too. I die cut the stamped gnomes and sentiments using a die from the Make a Tag {die set}. I also die cut some Real Red card stock from Stampin' Up and I adhered those to the back of the tags.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E11
Mustache / Beard: C00, C1, C3
Sweater: R20, R14, R46, B00, YG11, G24, G46, Y11, Y15
Lights: Y11, Y15, YG11, G24, B000, B00
Shoes: N1, N3, N5
Hat: R20, R14, R46, E21, E23, E25
Holly Jolly Banner: R20, R14

I punched a hole in the top of the tags but on the side a bit so I didn't punch a hole through the gnomes hat. I added some red grosgrain ribbon and tied it with some twine from my stash. These were really easy to make and didn't take too much time other than the coloring. I just need to find a 'to' and 'from' stamp for the back of the tags and I'll be all set.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky hugs,
Crystal

Falling for the Holidays 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Chillin' Gnomies ~ Colorado Craft Company

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with my second card for the Falling for the Holidays 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party! I just checked the link ups and there's already 59 entries!! Woohoo!!That's so awesome! It was so much fun checking out the inspiration shared yesterday for the start of the Linky Party. Today I'm sharing a card using a sweet stamp set from return Sponsor Colorado Craft Company.

I used the super fun and adorable Chillin' Gnomies Stamp Set for this card. All these fun images were so fun to color up! And then I had a blast building a fun scene! I stamped all the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Here's a quick list of the Copic Markers I used to color up all these images:

Santa Gnome: E000, E00, E11, R20, R14, R46, C00, C1, C3, Y11, Y15, Y28, N0, N1, N3, N5
Bunny: W00, W1, W3, W5, R00, R20
Penguins: C00, C1, N0, N1, N3, N5, YR21, YR15, YR24
Polar Bear: C00, C1, C3, R00, R20, Y11, Y15, Y28, R20, R14,
Sled: R20, R14, R46, E51, E53, E55, E57
Gift: YG11, G24, G46, Y11, Y15, Y28

I paired up these cuties with a vintage paper in my stash called Pine St. Square from The Paper Studio that I got a long time ago at Hobby Lobby. I thought the vintage vibe of the sled worked well with these papers. I die cut the holly paper using the Cloudy Frames Dies from our return Sponsor Pink & Main. The die that I used isn't available anymore but here's one that is similar... Diagonal Cover Dies

I also die cut a piece of black card stock using the Cloudy Frames Dies and then I splattered it with white acrylic paint for a snowy night sky. I adhered all my layers together using iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from our wonderful Sponsor Therm O Web. I cleaned up the edges of the fussy cut images by coloring them with a Memento Tuxedo Black marker. To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment on white card stock, trimmed it up and adhered it to the card.

Before you leave be sure to stop by Colorado Craft Company and check out all their wonderful holiday stamps! If you're in the mood for instant gratification... they also carry digital stamps! Falling for the Holidays 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ 3 Times as Merry ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm so excited to share my first card for the Falling for the Holidays 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! For my first card I'm featuring the awesome new 3 Times as Merry stamps from Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. How stinkin' cute is this Santa gnome! Love him!

I challenged myself a bit and just reached randomly into my Christmas papers and I grabbed the Let it Snow 6x6 Paper Pad from Doodlebug Design Inc. Luckily there were papers that worked well with my colored gnome. I used three different pattern papers from the pad for my background. I adhered my pattern paper layers to a white A2 top fold card base using the iCraft UltraBond Adhesive from Sponsor Therm O Web.

The 3 Times as Merry Santa gnome was stamped with Black Amalgam ink from Sponsor Gina K. Designs. I colored him up with the following Copic Markers:

Nose ~ E000, E00, E11
Beard / White Accents ~ C00, C1, C3
Hat / Glove / Coat ~ R20, R14, R46
Shoes ~ N0, N1, N3, N5, N7
Tree ~ YG11, G24, G46, E53, E55, E57, E59
Red Ornaments ~ R20, R14, R46
Star / Yellow Ornaments ~ Y06, Y15, Y38
Blue Ornaments ~ B000, B02
Green Ornaments ~ YG11, YG03
House Ornament ~ R20, R14, R46, C00, C1

I die cut a piece of white card stock using the largest die from the Stitched Arch STAX dies from My Favorite Things. Blended a bit of Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide inks in the center of the die cut. Fussy cut Santa gnome leaving a white border and popped him up on the card using a bunch of iCraft 3D Foam Squares from Therm O Web. I love the dimension the foam gives to the card! The sentiment was also stamped with Black Amalgam ink. Trimmed it and mat it with a piece of pattern paper from the paper pad.

My card was inspired by a past sketch - {BYSHC} Sketch 16! I turned the sketch, omitted the mats for the paper layers, and shifted the sentiment. But I think you can still see the how the sketch influenced the design of my card. Have you visited the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group? We host a fun sketch challenge each month to inspire our holiday cardmaking ALL YEAR LONG. No more stressing out during the holiday season to get those cards done! And I love revisiting the sketches and will likely be sharing a few during the Linky Party.

Yay!! I'm also a Sponsor for the Falling for the Holidays 2023 {BYSHC} Linky Party and this is the fabulous prize package that I am offering for one lucky winner with a $45 retail value. Woot woot!! For a chance to win this fun prize make a Christmas card and link it up to the linky party blog post on the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers blog.

Membership Wednesday ~ August 2023 Uniquely Unity Gnome-O-Ween ~ Unity Stamp Co.

  Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing an adorable Halloween card using the super cute gnomes from the fantastic August 2023 Uniquely Unity membership from Unity called Gnome-O-Ween. I just love these super cute stamps!!

I knew that I wanted to use all of these cute gnomes and the Stitched Circle Plate Background die from Gina Marie Designs has been on my desk just waiting to be used... the perfect pair up! I ink smooshed a quick background using Seedless Preserves, Twisted Citron and Black Soot on Stampers Select White card stock from Papertrey Ink. I die cut True Black card stock using the background die. And then adhered them together.

The gnomes are all stamped with Black Amalgam ink and I colored them up with the following Copic markers:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11
White Beards ~ C00, C1, C3
Orange ~ YR21, YR15, YR68
Green ~ YG11, G14
Purple ~ V000, V12, V05
Black ~ N0, N1, N3, N5
Brown ~ E51, E55, E57, E59

I die cut the sentiment using the smallest die from the Scallops & Squares Nesting Dies and also die cut a True Black piece of card stock using the next size up in the dies. I adhered them together and then adhered the sentiment directly to the card. I added foam tape to each of the gnomes and popped them up on the card. So happy to be adding cards to my Halloween stash.

Here's a quick look at the Uniquely Unity membership this month! Aren't they just the cutest?! Well, that's it for me today! I'll be back in two weeks with inspiration for the August 2023 Whit Kit. I hope you'll give me a visit and check out what I share! Until then have an ink-tastic day!

Happy Father's Day ~ BBQ Gnome ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I have a cute mini slimline Father's Day card to share today using a super cute new stamp that just released over at Unity Stamp Co. I kept the design simple for this one... pretty much CAS {Clean & Simple} but with a bit of color in the background.

I just adore this new BBQ Gnome from Unity. He's so cute with his spatula and BBQ sauce. And so much fun to color!

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used to color up the cute gnome:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11, E04
Beard / Hat ~ C00, C1, C3
Oven Mitt ~ N4, N6, R20, R17, R27
Spatula ~ C00, C1, N0, N2, N4, N6
Grill ~ N0, N2, N4, N6, E42, E44, E49
BBQ Sauce / Kebabs ~ E42, E44, E49
Grass ~ YG11, YG23
Sky ~ B0000, B00

I die cut the panel using the Wonky Stitched Mini Slimline Die from Gina Marie Designs. I cut a piece of plaid pattern paper from the Let Your Soul Wander {paper pack} to 5-3/4 x 3-3/8" and adhered it to a to the right side of a 6-1/2 x 3-1/2" black card front. Next, I adhered it to a white mini slimline card base measuring 7 x 6-1/2"; scored at 3-1/2".

A simple and pretty quick Father's Day card. Be sure to stop by Unity for their big birthday sale and new release!! Lots of wonderful new goodies!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Crystal
