{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 63 ~ Blessed Angel ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with one last card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 63 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! I absolutely love the gorgeous Blessed Angel from our fabulous Sponsor Angie Blom Digital Designs. I just had to use her for my card today.

I combined and resized the Blessed Angel along with a lovely sentiment from the Christmas Shop digi set in a Word Document and then I printed them off on white card stock. Next, I colored the angel with Copic markers. I then fussy cut her leaving a white border and popped her up on the black panel using foam tape.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R00, R20
Hair: E95, E97, E19
Dress: C0, C1, C3, Colorless Blender
Flowers: B000, B02, B34, B37
Leaves: YG11, G24

And I paired up this beauty with the Star of Bethlehem paper from Hobby Lobby. I just love the rich blues in these papers and I thought they would be a nice background for this pretty angel. I trimmed two pieces of white card stock measuring 5-1/2 x 1/8" for the strips across the card. The black panel behind the angel measures 2-1/4 x 4-1/4".

I trimmed the sentiment, and then I popped it up on the card with foam tape. This card turned out pretty nice if I do say so myself.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 63 for the month of November. There's just a couple more days left to enter the challenge! If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! I'm always blown away by the creations from the DT... they are amazingly talented cardmakers!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Inky hugs,
Crystal
