Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a fun holiday card I made with the awesome new Hissy Kringle Pissy Kitty stamp from Unity.
The background was made to look like our front door. I used Tropical Teal card stock from Papertrey Ink and it's pretty similar to our door color. I distressed the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The center panels are made from die cutting the card stock with dies from the Scalloped & Stitched Sentiment Nesting Dies.
Once I had the background figured out, I wanted to add a touch of Christmas with a wreath. I die cut Ripe Avocado card stock using the Leaf Wreath from Gina Marie Designs. The berries are from the Wreath dies from Gina Marie Designs. I die cut those from Pure Poppy card stock.
I colored up the grumpy kitty to look like our kitty, Quinn. She probably wouldn't tolerate the Santa hat, but I bet she'd look really cute in it. Anywho, I fussy cut the kitty and popped it up on the card with lots of foam tape. I stamped, trimmed and popped up the sentiment with foam tape too.
Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Kitty: YR20, YR15, N0, N2, N4
Eyes: C0, C1
Nose: R00, R20
Santa Hat: R20, R14, R29, C0, C1
Side Piece: G05, G09
Did you see the fun Trash Talkin' Pissy Kitty stamps that just released? I just had to add this cutie to the back of my pissy kitty holiday card! LOL! And I left enough room so I could sign the back like I always do with my cards. I just love how this whole card turned out. Hope you've been inspired to play.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Inky hugs,
Crystal
