Scrapping for Less ~ Sketch Challenge #4 ~ MFT All Tucked In

Hello there crafty friends!
Today, I'm sharing the March challenge for the Scrapping for Less: Show & Share Facebook group!! This month's challenge is a sketch challenge... I sure do love a good sketch!! It can definitely get the mojo working!

Before we get to the sketch and the card I created... the key to playing along with the challenge is being a member of the Scrapping for Less: Show & Share Facebook group so if you aren't already a member ---> join here!! Also, please note that you don't need a blog to enter the challenge as you're adding a photo of your creation directly in the Challenge album in the group. You are welcome to include a link to your blog in the description of your creation if you'd like.

Let's check out Sketch Challenge #4...

A fun little sketch to get you inspired! Now, let's check out the card I created using this fun sketch along with the adorable All Tucked In stamp set by My Favorite Things... available in the SFL shop!

I paired this sweet stamp set with the Wood You Be Mine papers by SFL... these sweet Valentine's themed papers don't have to be just for Valentine's!! I think they are wonderful with this sweet stamp set and I was able to pull the colors from the plaid papers to color up the images in my main panel.

I used the following Copic markers:

Bunny ~ W00, W1, W3, R00, R20, BG0000, BG11
Bed ~ E08, E13, YG91, YG93, B21, B39, B41, B45, R00, R05
Bear ~ E21, E23, E25, R20
Pig ~ R11, R81
Pictures ~ E13, E15, W00, W1, W3, R000, R00, R05, R20, BG0000, BG11, YG03, YG61, Y06, Y11, Y15, B39, B45
Wall / Floor ~ BG0000, E55, E57

I die cut the panel with Stitched Rectangle STAX dies from My Favorite Things. I trimmed down the plaid patterned paper to 4-1/4 x 5-1/2" and adhered it to a white card base. I adhered the wood grain patterned paper that I trimmed down to 4 x 5-1/4". I then trimmed down the chevron patterned paper to 2-3/4 x 4-5/8" and adhered it to the top portion of the main panel. I punched out a couple flags from the patterned papers and then trimmed another flag from a scrap of paper. I adhered those to the back of the main panel. I then popped up the main panel with foam squares. The sentiments from the All Tucked In stamp set didn't work for the idea I had in mind for this card so I went searching through my stamps and I found this cute little Get Well Soon sentiment in the Cup of Tea stamp set also from My Favorite Things. I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo black ink and then trimmed it down and mat it with a little piece of patterned paper. And then I realized that it didn't quite work with the sketch since I turned the sketch for my card... so I just decided to go with it and I adhered it to the bottom left corner of the main panel and called this card done!

Here's one more look at the card... I just love how this turned out! I hope that you do too!

This challenge will run from today, March 1st and will end March 31st at 11:59pm EST.  The winner will be announced on Wednesday, April 1st in the challenge album. Please use #sflsketchchallenge4 in any social media posts when playing along with the challenge.

Lots of time to play along and remember if you use SFL products in your challenge entry it qualifies for two entries for a chance to win a prize!! I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky Hugs,
Crystal
