Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Gingerbread Latte ~ Not 2 Shabby

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today is the last day of the Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party and I'm featuring a sweet card using an adorable digital stamp from Sponsor Not 2 Shabby and I paired it up with yummy pattern paper also from Not 2 Shabby!!

Oh my goodness... I just realized I forgot a sentiment! LOL! Well, I'll add one later I guess. Anywho... as I was looking through my Christmas papers I came across the beautiful Peppermint Latte paper pad from Not 2 Shabby (unfortunately, it looks like these papers aren't available any more). I absolutely LOVE the colors in this paper pad so I just had to use them!

I cut the polka dot paper to 5-1/4 x 4" and the candy paper I cut down to 5 x 2". I resized the adorable Ginger Latte digital stamp from Sponsor Not 2 Shabby in a Word Document and print it off.

I die cut it with the Wonky Stitched Oval die from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs and colored up the cute Gingerbread Latte digi with the following Copic markers:

Gingerbread ~ E21, E23, E27, R14, R27, C2
Mug / Plate ~ R000, R20, R14, R27, R37
Whipped Cream / Sprinkles ~ C00, C3, R27
Cinnamon Sticks ~ E21, E23, E27
Berries ~ R20, R14, R27, R37
Pine Needles ~ G24, G46
Cupcake Wrapper ~ BG000, BG01, R27
Cupcake ~ E51, E21, E23
Frosting ~ E23, E27, E29
Grounding ~ N0, N2

I adhered the polka dot layer to a white A2 top fold card base that I turned on it's side. I adhered the candy paper directly to the card. I popped up the focal piece with foam tape and added a few pretty red rhinestones from Sponsor Twiddler's Nook (unfortunately, it looks like they are out of stock!). Another card done for my stash! Woohoo!

Here's a look at Sketch Challenge 21 that I used for inspiration for my card.
There's still a bit of time to play along with the sketch challenge in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group!!

Today is the last day for the wonderful sale over at Not 2 Shabby...  use coupon code SPRINGINTOXMAS for 20% OFF of your order!! And Twiddler's Nook is also having a 15% OFF sale... no code needed!! Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Coffee Therapy and Pine Needle Sprig ~ Gina K. Designs and Gina Marie Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm sharing a card that has been in my mind from the start of the Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! I love when a card idea comes to fruition!! And it's even better when it turns out pretty! LOL! I used products today from a few of our wonderful Sponsors of the Spring into Christmas Linky Party... Gina Marie Designs, Gina K. Designs, and Twiddler's Nook!!!

The wonderful pine sprigs from the Pine Needle Sprigs dies from Gina Marie Designs really started off the whole card. My coffee cup ornaments are from the Coffee Therapy stamp set from Gina K. Designs... so cute!

The beautiful sentiment is also a die - the Cursive Merry Christmas dies from Gina Marie Designs. You may remember this die from my Framed Silhouette card that I shared a few days ago. My kraft background is embossed with the Snowflake Swirl embossing folder by Darice and I lightly rubbed the raised snowflakes with my Picket Fence Distress Ink pad. I die cut my snowflake embossed background with a large stitched rectangle die from My Favorite Things called Blueprints #15.

My sweet little coffee cup ornaments are stamped with Pure Poppy ink from Papertrey Ink. I fussy cut them leaving a very skinny white border. I used my 1/8" hole punch for just under the handles and adhered the pretty twine just behind the cups with some tear tape. Each of the ornaments are popped up on the card with foam tape.

I added sweet tiny red rhinestones from Twiddler's Nook to each of the coffee cup ornaments. And also added a few green rhinestones in the centers of some snowflakes. Here you can see some of the dimension of the card. The sentiment is raised by die cutting it three times from red card stock and then I adhered them all together. The coffee cups and the snowflake background are all popped up with lots of foam tape.

I adhered the bottom layer of pine needle sprigs directly to the snowflake background but all the other sprigs are just adhered at the very top... under the kraft scalloped strip. This allows some of the sprigs to give dimension to the card. The ornament strings are adhered behind the snowflake background with tear tape. I die cut a piece of red card stock and a piece of kraft card stock with the stitched scalloped die from Stitched Scalloped Basic Edges dies from My Favorite Things. I adhered them together and then adhered them on top of the sprigs with liquid glue.

We're nearing the end of the Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party! I hope you'll try to play along with us... there's some lovely prizes up for grabs!! Even if you're not able to play along, I hope you'll stop by and check out all the sweet inspiration being shared! So many beautiful cards!! I'll see you tomorrow with my last card for the Linky Party!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Simple Stenciled One-Layer Card ~ April 2022 Uniquely Unity ~ Unity Stamp Co,

Hello there crafty friend!
I have one more card to share with you using the beautiful April 2022 Uniquely Unity membership stamp! This one is a very simple one-layer card. A little bit of ink blending over a stencil and then some simple stamping... so easy, quick and pretty! This would be super easy to duplicate in a rainbow of colors, too!

I started with a white card front measuring 5-1/2 x 4-1/4". I secured the Grime Layering stencil from Tim Holtz over the card front with Pixie Tape and ink blended Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink over the bottom portion of the stencil. I started ink blending in the bottom left corner and gradually lightened my touch as I moved across the card.

You can see the ink blending is lighter on the bottom right. I ink blended Tumbled Glass on the top portion using a heavier hand in the middle of the ink blending over the Salty Ocean and gradually lightening my touch as I moved up and to the right of the card.

Once my ink blending was done I stamped the dandelions and the sentiment with Gina K. Black Amalgam ink. I trimmed the card front to 5-1/4 x 4" and adhered it to a white A2 top fold card base. Done. I think this would look lovely in purple and pink... oh, a pretty turquoise color would be beautiful too. Really any color would be lovely.

You can check out my process video for this card here... Simple Stenciled One-Layer Card | April 2022 Uniquely Unity | Unity Stamp Co.

I had so much fun inking up the You Can Dream It stamp set! If you receive this membership, I sure hope you've been inspired to ink it up! You can check out the Uniquely Unity membership over at Unity Stamp Co. if you aren't already signed up to receive it.

See ya next time.

Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Destination Christmas ~ Newton's Nook Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
It's day 6 of the Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party and today I'm sharing a cute card using some products from Sponsor Newton's Nook Designs!! I just love this adorable truck full of Christmas goodies from the Destination Christmas stamp set!! Isn't it the cutest!!

Now that's not the only product I used from Sponsor Newton's Nook Designs... you see that awesome plaid background?! I used the Plaid Stencil Set to create that plaid background. I blended over the plaid stencils on the red card stock with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink and Black Soot Distress Ink for a really pretty holiday plaid.

I die cut the plaid background with the stitched rectangle die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} from Sponsor Unity Stamp Co. I used the largest stitched scallops die to die cut a piece of True Black card stock. I adhered these two layers together and wrapped them with a piece of True Black Luxe Satin Ribbon from Papertrey Ink.

I colored up the cute truck with the following Copic markers:

Truck ~ R20, R14, R27, R89, E55, E57, R59, N2, N4, N6
Window ~ B000, B00
Headlight ~ Y06, Y35
Tires ~ N2, N4, N6, C00, C3
Tree ~ YG11, G24, G46
Kraft/Red Present ~ E30, E33, R20, R14, R27
Pink/Purple Present ~ RV0000, RV11, RV21, V12, V15, V17
Blue Present ~ B000, B00, B02

I die cut a piece of white card stock with the X Stitched Circle die {sadly, it looks like it's out of stock} from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs and I actually die cut a second one for my hill that the truck is resting on. I added a bit of blue 'sky' to my circle using a blending brush and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I fussy cut the truck with my EK Success Cutter Bee scissors and cleaned up the edges by coloring them with a Memento Tuxedo black marker. I adhered all my layers for the circle focal together and adhered them to a True Black circle that I die cut with a die from the Additional Circles die from Waffle Flower.

I sure hope you'll head on over to the  Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party to see all the fabulous inspiration being shared so far! Even if you're not able to play along, I hope you'll stop by and check out all the sweet inspiration being shared! So many beautiful cards!!

Monochromatic Birthday Card ~ April 2022 Uniquely Unity ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I had so much fun yesterday making the ink smooshed dandelion card with the April 2022 Uniquely Unity membership stamp that I was inspired to make another one. This time I inked up the You Can Dream It stamps for a monochromatic birthday card and actually went out of the box a bit and went with brown. Not my usual color choice for a monochromatic card but I love it!

I was searching through my Unity paper packs and saw the pretty Plant a Garden {paper pack} and the light brown paper with the white wild flowers caught my eye. It also inspired my color choices for the entire card.

I love how the white embossing pops on the brown card stock. The white mat on the focal piece helps make it pop even more. The cute sentiment is one of my favorites that I've been using pretty often for my birthday cards and I thought it was perfect for this card too. It's from the 3 Tiered Birthday itty bitty stamp from Unity.

I tied a bit of twine around the card front and tied a little bow. I think it adds a cute little touch to the card. You can check out my process video for this card here... Monochromatic Birthday Card | April 2022 Uniquely Unity | Unity Stamp Co.

I love how pretty this card turned out using a color palette that I normally wouldn't use! You can check out the Uniquely Unity membership over at Unity Stamp Co. I have one more card to share with you tomorrow using this beautiful stamp set... I hope you'll come by for another visit!

Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Warm Wishes for Your Home ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I can't believe that we are more than halfway through the Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party already!! Today I'm sharing a pretty card using the sweet Warm Wishes for Your Home stamp set from Sponsor Unity Stamp Co.!! I was looking through my stamps trying to find my Poinsettia background stamp from Unity but I guess it's still in a box! Unpacking seems to never end!! Anywho, I came across the beautiful Warm Wishes for Your Home set and thought I'd ink it up for today!

And then I started searching through my Christmas papers and stopped when I saw my beloved Figgy papers from Basic Grey... awww... any other hoarders of their cherished Basic Grey papers?! I love these papers and actually have two 6x6 paper pads (and some 12x12!!) in my stash so... I got to thinking I could spare some for a card! LOL!

Picking papers was kind of hard though... I love them all so much but the stripes won out for behind my focal piece. Speaking of... how sweet is this house stamp?! So sweet and nostalgic... it reminds me of a beautiful cabin home that we stayed at on one of our family vacations. It wasn't Christmas time yet but it did snow a bit. It's funny how stamps bring back memories of sweet times.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers that I used:

Door / Planters ~ R20, R14, R27
Wreath ~ G24, G99
Pine Trees ~ G24, G99
Large Trees ~ C00, C2
House ~ C00, C2, C3
Windows ~ Y00

I trimmed up the focal piece with my new Tim Holtz Tonic Deckle Torn Edge Trimmer... love how easy it was to get a pretty deckled edge around my focal piece. I wrapped my card front with a Cranberry grosgrain ribbon from Stampin' Up that's been in my stash forever and also made a cute little bow that I adhered to the card with a tiny glue dot. I mat the sentiment with a banner cut from Cherry Cobbler card stock from Stampin' Up. And I finished off the card with a few red Holiday Glitter enamel dots {sadly they are currently out of stock} from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs. I love how it turned out!

I sure hope that you've been inspired to get a jump on those holiday cards! It was such a relief last year not having to stress over making a bunch. I actually had extras left over! Head on over to the  Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party to see all the fabulous inspiration being shared so far! Even if you're not able to play along, I hope that you'll stop by and check out all the sweet inspiration being shared! So many beautiful cards!!

Membership Monday ~ April 2022 Uniquely Unity ~ You Can Dream It ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back for another Membership Monday blog post and today I'm featuring the wonderful April 2022 Uniquely Unity membership at Unity Stamp Co. This fabulous membership is especially picked each month by Angela Magnuson, the owner of Unity. I just love this membership! It never disappoints!

This month's stamp is a gorgeous set of dandelion stamps. Dandelions always take me back to my childhood when I'd blow the seeds from a dandelion puff for good luck.

I wanted to go with a Spring color palette and then I remembered the extra background that I ink smooshed earlier in the month for my Background of the Month card. It's the perfect background for this stamp! A light Spring inspired card!

I stamped the dandelions with Wow Clear Embossing ink and added Alabaster White Embossing powder. I melted the ep (embossing powder) with my Mini Wagner Heat Tool. I trimmed the background and adhered it to a mat of Pink Pirouette card stock from Stampin' Up. I stamped the sentiment with Gina K. Black Amalgam ink. I trimmed up each line of the sentiment and adhered it to the background. And then I adhered the focal piece to a white A2 top fold card base. Done!

You can check out my process video here... Membership Monday | April 2022 Uniquely Unity | Unity Stamp Co.

I love how quick and pretty this card turned out using an extra ink smooshed background! You can check out the Uniquely Unity membership over at Unity Stamp Co. I actually had so much fun making this card that I made another card! I'll share that one with y'all tomorrow!

Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Do You Wanna Build a Snowman ~ Taylored Expressions

 Hello there crafty friend!
I can't believe that it's already Day 4 of the Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! This party is just zipping by... I hope that you've stopped by the {BYSHC} blog to see all the wonderful inspiration being shared! I've been so inspired by all the wonderful cards! Today, I have a card using the Do You Wanna Build a Snowman die from new Sponsor Taylored Expressions. Unfortunately, I believe this die is retired since I couldn't find it on the website, but I did see a few other silhouette style dies over in the shop if you're interested in doing a bit of shopping. *wink*wink*

I paired up the sweet silhouette die with the Cursive Merry Christmas Word die from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs and I also used the Frames: Scalloped Stitched Rectangles die from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs. Sometimes it's fun to just play with all those die cuts and not stamp!

I ink smooshed my background on Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Watercolor card stock with Iced Spruce, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. I focused the lighter ink where the lamp is and then used the darker Chipped Sapphire in the middle. And the Black Soot on the other side... giving the illusion of light.

I did a bit of water splatter - which is basically just spritzing some water in your hands and clapping over your ink smooshed background. I used a paper towel to dab up the extra water and dried my background with my Mini Wagner heat tool. And then I added some Apple Barrel white acrylic paint splatter for my snowy background. I adhered the silhouette die cut to the back of the scalloped frame die cut before adhering it to the card as one piece. I thought it was an easier way to place the silhouette die exactly where I wanted it.

I die cut the sentiment three times and adhered the sentiments all together for some nice dimension. I adhered my layers to a white A2 top fold card base. Now rather than adding another layer like a black card front... I decided to use my Memento Tuxedo black marker and I colored around the edge of the white card base. It actually worked really well! Can you tell I colored the edges?

I sure hope I've inspired you to get inky and get a jump on those holiday cards! I was so relieved last year during the holidays that I didn't have to stress over making a bunch.

Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Sweet Seasonal Apples ~ Brutus Monroe

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back for Day 3 of the Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party! I've been working on my studio this week while we've been on Spring Break from homeschool and I came across the Sweet Seasonal Apples stamp set from returning Sponsor Brutus Monroe... a collaboration stamp with Simon Says Stamp for STAMPtember that I got last year, I believe. Anywho, I just love this snowman candy apple so I thought I'd use him for a cute holiday card.

And I paired up the stamp with the Winter Cabin paper collection, also from Sponsor Brutus Monroe. Unfortunately, it looks like this paper collection is no longer available in the shop, but there's a bunch of other beautiful holiday papers still available in the shop! In fact, I probably shouldn't have looked because paper is my weakness and I think I need a couple paper collections!! LOL!

Each month I print out the sketch challenge and keep them all in a handy file folder. I decided to look through them all for inspiration and thought that Sketch 10 would be great for my card.

I stamped the snowman candy apple with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him up with the following Copic markers:

Candy Apple ~ C00, C2, C3
Nose ~ Y06, YR15, YR68
Hat ~ N0, N2, N3, N5, R20, R14, R27, R39
Stick ~ E35, E39
Bow ~ R20, R14, R27, R39

I trimmed the focal piece and stamped the JOY sentiment. I added a mat of True Black card stock from Papertrey Ink for both the focal piece and the wood slice pattern paper. I added a couple pieces of scrap card stock under the top of the focal piece so that it would lay flat as I adhere it to the card front. I added three red Cozy Flannel Gloss enamel dots from Sponsor Gina Marie Designs. I wrapped the card front with a red grosgrain ribbon simply tying a knot for a faux bow and then I adhered the card front to a white A2 top fold card base.

Have you checked out the Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party? I'm loving all the fabulous inspiration being shared so far! Even if you're not able to play along, I hope that you'll stop by and check out all the sweet inspiration being shared! So many beautiful cards!!

Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party ~ Mommy Kissing Santa ~ Colorado Craft Company

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm so super excited today to share a card that I made using products from our brand new Sponsor Colorado Craft Company!! So happy they've joined us for our Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party!! Today, I used the beautiful I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa stamp set from Colorado Craft Company. I just love the Lovely Legs line of stamps that Colorado Craft Company has in their shop and I've been collecting them for awhile but haven't necessarily had the time to play with them... until now!!

I couldn't help but pick my favorite paper pad... Winter Plaids & Patterns paper pack from Ink N' Splatter! I wanted to use purple and blues along with some traditional colors to this paper pad was perfect!

I cut the plaid paper for my card front measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2" and then used a couple of scraps of the purple with polka dots that was in my stash to border the focal piece.

I stamped the I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa stamp with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used to color up this beautiful stamped image:

Skin ~ E000, E00, E11
Dress ~ V12, V15, V17
Santa ~ R20, R14, R27, C00, C2, C4
Belt / Boots ~ N0, N1, N3, N5, C00, C2, C4
Tree ~ YG11, G24, G46
Ornaments ~ Y06, Y15, R20, R14, R27, B000, B00, B02, V12, V15, V17
Presents ~ V12, V15, V17, B000, B00, B02, E30 E33, E35, R20, R14, R27, Y06, Y15, Y35
Wall / Baseboard ~ N0, N1, N3, C00, C2, C4
Floor ~ E42, E44, E47, E49

I cut the colored image to 4-1/4 x 3-1/2" and adhered it to the card front. I adhered the two scraps of purple with polka dot pattern paper on either side of the focal piece. I then adhered the card front to a white A2 top fold card base. I added a few red Cozy Flannel Gloss enamel dots from returning Sponsor Gina Marie Designs to tie in the red with the pattern papers. I think it finishes off the card very nicely.

I hope you'll go check out the Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party if you haven't already. I'm enjoying all the fabulous inspiration being shared so far! Even if you're not able to play along, I hope that you'll stop by and check out all the sweet inspiration being shared!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.
