Inky Paws Challenge #206 ~ Color Challenge

It's time for a new Inky Paws Challenge... a fun Color Challenge!

Inky Paws Challenge #206 - Color Challenge

Absolutely gorgeous colors... Sunset Orange, Turquoise, Sunflower Yellow, and Maple Brown.

I started with my background for this card. I wanted to use the awesome Plaid Stencil Set to make a quick and pretty background using two of the colors from the challenge. I blended Mustard Seed and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks over the two stencils included in the set.

I die cut the background using the large postage stamp die from the Framework Die Set. I adhered it to an A2 top fold card base of Crumb Cake card stock from Stampin' Up. I set the card aside and stamped the sentiment, pumpkins and coffee cup from the Fall-ing For You Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I also stamped the cup on a small piece of Crumb Cake card stock and fussy cut the sleeve. Here's a quick list of the Copic Markers I used to color up the pumpkins and coffee cup:

Pumpkins ~ YR21, YR15, YR68, YR27, E30, E33

Coffee Cup ~ C00, C1, C3, BG000, BG02, BG45, YR15, YR68

I then die cut a frame for the sentiment using the stitched and scalloped frame die from the Framework Die Set. I adhered it over the sentiment panel. I fussy cut the pumpkins and coffee cup. Used a Memento Tuxedo Black marker to color up the edges of the fussy cutting to make it all nice and neat. I adhered the sleeve to the cup. And then I adhered the pumpkins to the cup and added foam tape to the back. I popped them up on the card. Easy peasy and Oh. So. Fall!! I love making Fall cards!
