 Hello there crafty friend!
It is time for a brand new sketch challenge! Woohoo! Today I'm sharing my first card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 32 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I inked up the wonderful Mazie

Isn't she just the sweetest?! Love, love, love. I stamped the adorable pup and sentiment with Amalgam Black ink on Stampers Select White card stock and colored her up with Copic Markers. Here's a list of the Copic Markers I used: pup - C00, C1, E30, E33; heart - R20, R14, R27.

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 32. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. If you'd like to see another card I made that actually inspired this sketch, you can check it out here... kitty birthday card.

I paired up this sweet pup with the Woof-Tastic {paper pack}. I love all the fun patterns in these papers! I couldn't help but use a few different papers for my card.

I think this will be a really fun sketch to play with for the next four weeks! Lots of possibilities! I hope you can find time to play along. I can't wait to see what you create. Have an ink-tastic week!

Embrace Your Unique Brilliance ~ She Monsters ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
I am SO excited that Unity made some girl monsters too! I just had to ink up the one with glasses! If I was a monster I would totally be this gal with the rainbow bow and shirt! LOL!

I stamped the adorable monster from the She Monsters with Black Amalgam ink and colored it up with just a bunch of Copic markers. I die cut the monster using a circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I wanted to add a bit of shine to the glasses so I added glossy accents.

You can check out my process video for this card here... Embrace Your Unique Brilliance | She Monsters | Unity Stamp Co.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Monster: V000, V12, V15, RV52, RV14
Hair: YG11, G14
Mouth: B00, C00, C2
Eyes: C00, C2, C3
Shirt / Bow: C00, C3, R20, R14, YR21, YR15, Y11, Y15, YG11, G14, B000, B00, V000, V12, Colorless Blender
Ground: Y11, B000

I paired up the adorable monster with my fave rainbow papers... Rainbow Vibes {paper pack}. Love these papers!!

The inside of the mini card... a fun fold card, of sorts. I cut the sentiment into two parts and adhered the second part inside the card.

I finished off the monster with some white polka dots on her shirt using a Sakura White Gelly Roll pen. This was such a fun card to make!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 56 ~ Hipster Christmas ~ Jaded Blossom

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with one last card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 56 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing another cute holiday card featuring a fun stamp from our wonderful Sponsor, Jaded Blossom.

I inked up the cute Santa from the Hipster Christmas Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and I colored him up with Copic markers. Isn't he just too fun and cute?! I love this stamp!

Here's a quick list of the Copics I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E51, E04
Hair: C00, C2, C3
Hat: R20, R14, R27, C00, C2, C3, N0, N2, N4, N6
Glasses: R20, R14, R27

I paired him up with the Winter Cabin 6x6 Paper Collection from Brutus Monroe. These papers have a lumberjack vibe and I thought they were fun to use with this hipster Santa.

I wanted to add a little layer between Santa and the paper but I didn't want to cover up the paper too much so I went with vellum card stock. I die cut a scrap piece using a circle die from the X Stitched Circle dies from Gina Marie Designs.

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 56 for the month of April. There's just a few days left to enter the challenge that ends on April 30th! Membership Wednesday ~ April 2025 UU Chirps & Cheer ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a card featuring the adorable stamp from the April 2025 Uniquely Unity membership from Unity called Chirps & Cheer.

I stamped this adorable bird with Black Amalgam ink on Kraft card stock and colored it up with some Copic markers. I love this technique and it's been awhile since I've done some coloring on kraft. I made a fun swirl in the center of the flower using English Mustard Nuvo Drops. I just used a toothpick to define the swirl a little more.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Bird: Y11, Y15, YR23
Beak: YR04
Flower: R20, RV04, YG11, YG17, G99
Outline: BG10

I had this fun fold card base in my stash and I thought I'd use it for this card. It's an A2 card base that measures 4-1/4 x 11" and it's scored at 2-3/4" and 5-1/2". I die cut the bird with a square die from the Scallops & Squares {nesting dies}. I trimmed up the sentiment and adhered it to the top right corner of the bird.

I paired up this sweet image with the beautiful Enveloped in Love {paper pack}. I forgot to take a picture of the card open... ooops! The heart paper and the pink heart paper I cut for the inside folded panel both measure 2-1/2 x 4". The pink panel measures 5-1/4 x 4. And I also cut a 2-3/8 x 3-3/4" panel of kraft card stock that is inside the card so I can write a note to the recipient.

Here's a quick look at this month's Uniquely Unity membership! Loving this cutie!

Well, that's it for me today! I hope you've been inspired to play with your membership stamps!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Inky Paws Challenge #239 ~ Color Challenge {Week 3}

Hello there crafty friend! Happy Easter!
Sharing some more inspiration for the Inky Paws Challenge #239 - Color Challenge! You have until Friday, May 2nd to get your entries in for the challenge and a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!

Such a gorgeous color combo for any occasion but this time I had to make an Easter card. Our colors for the challenge are Dusty Violet, Spring Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Cocoa Brown!!

I stamped the cute images from the Easter Postage Sampler Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Colored them up with my Copic markers and then I die cut them using the coordinating die from the Easter Postage Sampler Die Set.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Bunny: E21, E23, E25, C00, C2
Eggs: YG11, YG03, YG63, V000, V12, V15, Y11, Y15
Tulip: V000, V12, V15, YG11, YG03, YG63

I used some scraps leftover from a previous card that I had die cut using the Postage Stamp Layout Dies. I blended lightly with Vintage Photo Distress Ink over the little rectangle pieces. And then I cut three slightly larger rectangles and adhered the little postage pieces together. This gave them a little more stability. I adhered the cute images to the postage pieces and set them aside.

I blended a fun background on the front of a white A2 top fold card base using the Bunny Tails Stencil Set. I blended the bunny outlines with Villainous Potion keeping it light. And then I blended the little bunny tails with Wilted Violet Distress Ink. I die cut the beautiful sentiment from the Happy Easter Die three times from Kraft card stock. I adhered them all together to give the sentiment some dimension. I die cut the shadow layers from white card stock. I played around with the placement of all of the pieces for way too long... LOL... until I settled on the above. I really love how this turned out!

Now it's your turn to get your paws inky with your Newton's Nook Designs products and create a project using the color combo of Dusty Violet, Spring Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Cocoa Brown. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Can't wait to see your projects!

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 56 ~ Snowman Dies ~ Jaded Blossom

Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back with a little inspiration for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 56 hosted in the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group! Today I'm sharing another sweet holiday card featuring an adorable die from our fabulous Sponsor, Jaded Blossom.

I die cut all of the fun pieces for the Snowman Dies from Jaded Blossom. Here's a list of the card stock I used to build the snowman: Stampers Select White card stock, Kraft card stock, True Black card stock, Prairie Grass card stock, Orange Zest card stock, and Berry Sorbet card stock from Papertrey Ink. I also used Soft Sky card stock from Stampin' Up.

I paired up the adorable snowman with the lovely papers from the Sugar Plum 6x6 Paper Pad from My Mind's Eye. The background panel measures 4-1/4 x 5-1/2". The scene paper measures 1-3/4 x 5-1/2" on the left and 1-1/4 x 2-3/8" for the right top piece and 1-1/4 x 2-15/16". The striped paper measures 3-1/4 x 5-1/2". I adhered all of my layers to a white A2 top fold card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Village: Post Office stamp set, also from Jaded Blossom. Sadly, it's a retired set. I thought about stamping it on vanilla card stock but chose white so that the snowman wasn't the only white on the card. What do you think? Should I have done vanilla card stock?

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 56 for the month of April. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog! The design team, as always, rocked this sketch!

Membership Wednesday ~ April 2025 BOM Mod Bloom ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Happy Membership Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a card featuring this month's fab background stamp from the April 2025 Background of the Month membership from Unity called Mod Blooms.

I wanted to try a fun technique with Distress Crayons where I colored the rubber stamp, spritzed the stamp with a bit of water and then stamped the image. It worked pretty well. I went back in with the crayons to add a bit of detail.

I used Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, and Twisted Citron Distress Crayons. And then I used a Tumbled Glass Distress Crayon to watercolor around the flower.

I die cut the flower using a stitched rectangle die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}. I die cut a piece of white card stock using the largest die from the Postage Stamp {nesting dies}. And then I adhered all of my layers to a white A2 top fold card base.

Here's a quick look at this month's Background of the Month membership! So many fun ideas for this stamp! Well, that's it for me today! I hope you've been inspired to play with your membership stamps! Have an INKredible day!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 31 ~ Caffeinated Girls ~ Angie Blom Digital Designs

 Hello there crafty friend!
Today I'm also sharing another card for the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 31 in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group. I felt like playing with some digi stamps so I looked through my files and found the gorgeous Caffeinated Girls from Angie Blom Digital Designs. Love the images in this fab set!

I combined and resized a few different images and a sentiment from the Caffeinated Girls digital stamp set in a Word Document. I printed it off and started coloring. Sadly, I started coloring before I picked my papers so the greens in my coloring were a little off. Otherwise, it works really well with the papers I found in my stash.

Here's a list of the Copic Markers I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E11
Hair: YR20, E34
Sweater: R00, R32, YG11, YG03, G99
Cup: C00, C2, BG10, BG72
Coffee Cup Background: C00, C2, E000, E21, E25, R00, R11, R12, R14, R21, R27, BG10, BG72, YG03, YG67

Here's a look at the fun sketch for Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 31. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I'd love for you to join in the fun and play with us in the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group.

I paired up this girl with the Coffee paper pad from Echo Park Paper Co. I've had these papers forever! Mostly just scraps leftover now so it was perfect for this card and I love how the colors worked so well with my coloring.

I finished off this cute card with a few enamel dots from the coordinating Coffee enamel dots from Echo Park Paper Co. I just love how this turned out! I hope you can find time to play along with the sketch challenge. I can't wait to see what you create. Have an ink-tastic week!

The April 2025 New Release is now available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store! This month we introduced 3 new stamp sets. Our first set called BOBA PANDAS features 4 adorable Pandas enjoying the outdoors with their favorite Boba tea. Next, our favorite girl has resumed her travels and this month we have ANYA IN INDIA. Lastly, we showcased the cutest, chubbiest bees in a set called BEE HAPPY.

I couldn't BEE more happy than to share another card featuring the absolutely adorable bees and flowers from Bee Happy! I just adore these cuties! I stamped the flowers and bees on white card stock and colored them up with Copic markers. I fussy cut them leaving a white border around the edge - just like a die cut would. I adhered the flowers to the hexagon layer and popped up the bees with a little foam tape. And then I stamped the little bees swirly line directly on the pattern paper.

The yellow gingham pattern paper is die cut with a hexagon scalloped die. I covered an A2 card base with the black and white pattern paper from the same pack. The sentiment was stamped, trimmed and adhered to the hexagon. And then I popped up the hexagon focal piece and the sentiment onto the card with lots of foam tape.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Bees: C00, C2, C4, C9, Y11, Y15
Flowers: BG10, BG01, BG15, Y15
Leaves: YG11, G02

Hello there crafty friend!
It's week two of the Inky Paws Color Challenge! We're playing with a fun mix of colors this month for a Color Challenge! You have until Friday, May 2nd to get your entries in for the #239 Color Challenge and a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!

Our lovely colors are... Dusty Violet, Spring Green, Sunshine Yellow, and Cocoa Brown!! This beautiful color combo is perfect for spring cards and more! Create a garden scene, try adding the colors to a birthday card or mix in a pet with brown fur!

I was inspired to make another Spring card. This time I inked up the beautiful Spring Haul Stamp Set. This is one of my favorite stamps! I die cut the truck using the coordinating Spring Haul Die Set.

Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:
Truck: YG11, YG03, YG63, E30, E33
Lights: R20, R14, R27
Tires: N0, N2, N4
Bumper: C00, C1
Daffodils: Y11, Y15, YG11, YG03, YG63

Inspiration for my card comes from the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch Challenge 31. The sketch, as always, is meant to inspire not require. So let the sketch lead in your design, but don't feel limited by it. I'd love for you to join in the fun over at the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Facebook group.

I paired up the cute truck with the Pastel Basics 6x6 Paper Pad. I am loving the Spring colors in this paper pad! I cut the pattern papers to the measurements in the sketch and adhered them to a Kraft A2 top fold card base.

I wanted a layer between the truck and the pattern papers so I die cut a circle using a die from the Circle Frames Die Set. I heat embossed the sentiment with my favorite white embossing combo... I prepped the card stock with TE Anti Static Powder from Taylored Expression, stamped with Sugar Cube Pigment Ink from Taylored Expressions, Alabaster White Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe, and I melted it with a Wagner Precision Heat Tool. I popped up the truck with foam tape to finish off the card.
