Did Somebody Say Cake? ~ Curious Cats ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Sharing one more card using a new release from the last release and sale over at Unity. This time I played with the adorable and fun Curious Cats. I'm really wanting to make more birthday cards and send them. The latter has been a bit of a challenge this year, but I'm going to do better in 2024!

This is a pretty simple card. The kitties and sentiment were stamped with Black Amalgam ink on white card stock. I then die cut the panel using the second largest stitched rectangle die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}. I extended the line where the kitties are peeking with a ruler and pencil. And then I fussy cut the line and around the kitties.

My paper layers are a mix up... I used the wood panel paper from the Love Kitties {paper pack} and the cupcakes paper from the Birthday Party {paper pack}. I die cut the layers using the two largest dies from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}

Here's a quick list of the Copic Markers I used to color up the kitties:

Top Kitty: N0, N1, N3, YR21, YR15, R00, R20, YG11, G03
Bottom Kitty: N0, N1, N3, R00, R20, YG11, G03

You can check out my video for these cards here... Did Somebody Say Cake?! | Curious Cats | Unity Stamp Co.

That's it for me today! Head on over to Unity and check out the awesome new releases for the last sale of 2023! The sale ends tomorrow!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 40 ~ Joy of Baby Jesus ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm sharing one last Christmas card for the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 40 for the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Facebook group. This month's sketch is really great for those larger stamped images so I was excited to play with the Joy of Baby Jesus stamp from Unity.

This beautiful stamp was one of many released during the Brown Thursday/Black Friday sales over at Unity and I just love it! So pretty and perfect for holiday cards.

I paired it up with the beautiful Star of Bethlehem paper pad from Hobby Lobby that I got a couple of months ago. I just love the blues and black in these pretty papers and thought they complimented the sweet stamped image so nicely.

I did alter the sketch for my design just a bit by using the second largest stitched rectangle die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} to die cut the panel. So it's larger than the sketch calls for and I omitted the mat. I also moved my sentiment and just added another strip of pattern paper to lay across the image in place of the sentiment strip. Here's a quick list of the Copic Markers I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E11
Hair: N1
Clothes: E50, E51, B91, B93, B95, B97, E21, E23, E25
Outline: B0000
Ground: E23

Here's a look at {BYSHC} Sketch 40 for the month of December!
There's still a few days to play along with the sketch! The challenge ends on December 31st. I hope you'll join in the fun and start building your stash of holiday cards for 2024. If you're interested in seeing a bit more inspiration for this sketch, check out the amazing inspiration from the design team over on the {BYSH} Cardmakers blog!

One Stamp Two Cards ~ Seraphim Wings ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
Did you see that Unity had one last release for 2023?! I finally had a chance to play and, of course, I just HAD to play with the gorgeous Seraphim Wings. Love, love, love this gorgeous butterfly!! And it's SO big that I was able to make two cards from one stamped image!

Very simple CAS cards but oh so pretty and versatile depending on the occasion.

I stamped the butterfly in the middle of a half sheet of white card stock measuring 8-1/2 x 5-1/2". I cut the butterfly in half and then trimmed both of my panels to 4 x 5-1/8".

I failed miserably this year sending out birthday cards and was thinking this sentiment would be awesome for my first official birthday card for the 2024 year. I intend on sending more birthday cards in 2024 and this card design is perfect for a quick card.

I adhered the butterfly panel to a Pretty in Pink card front {Stampin' Up} measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2" that I adhered to a white A2 top fold card base. Here's a quick list of the Copic Markers I used to color up this half of the butterfly: Y11, Y15, R81, R83, V12, V15, B0000, B000.

I also haven't sent as many sympathy cards this year as I should have. I always intended too but time seemed to get in the way. So, I plan to make more sympathy cards to have on hand.

I think neutral cards are nice for sympathy cards and this beautiful sentiment with the gorgeous butterfly are perfect. Such a simple card that I can duplicate it, too.

All the measurements are the same for both cards. I adhered the butterfly panel to a Crumb Cake card front {Stampin' Up} that's adhered to a white A2 top fold card base. Here's a quick list of the Copic Markers I used for the second card: N1, N3, W00, W1, W3, W5, C00, C1, C3.

You can check out my video for these cards here... One Stamp Two Cards | Seraphim Wings | Unity Stamp Co.

That's it for me today! Head on over to Unity and check out the awesome new releases for the last sale of 2023!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.

Membership Wednesday ~ December 2023 Kit of the Month Difference Maker ~ Unity Stamp Co.

 Hello there crafty friend!
I'm back for another Membership Wednesday and today I'm sharing a simple card using the beautiful daisy stamp in the December 2023 Kit of the Month called Difference Maker from Unity Stamp Co.

I stamped the pretty daisy on a piece of white card stock using Black Amalgam ink.
Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used to color up the daisy:

Petals: Y11, Y15, Y35, R81, R83
Flower Center: E51, E55
Leaves: G24, G28

I paired up the daisy with a piece of pattern paper from the beautiful Pollinator's Nostalgia papers. These papers were a must have!! So glad I got my hands on them! Sadly, I don't see them on the website right now. I die cut the daisy using a die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies}.

I stamped the sentiment from the December 2023 Whit Kit called Radiant Moonlit Forest. And then I die cut it using the Scalloped & Stitched Sentiment Nesting Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the daisy layer and then added a bunch of foam tape to the back of both the daisy and sentiment and popped them up on the card. I added a few enamel dots to finish off the card.

Here's a look at the whole Kit of the Month for December!! So amazing!

I'll be back in a couple of weeks to share inspiration for Membership Wednesday. Not sure what I'll be playing with yet, but next week I'll be sharing a card I created for the Kit of the Month on my Instagram. There's a link for my Instagram at the top of my blog if you're interested in seeing my card.

Advent Calendar Day 24 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's the last day of the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity!! I'm revealing the Advent Calendar stamp on my YouTube channel each day and also have a short blog post. I can't believe it's the last day! Time has just zipped by! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!

First off... please excuse the shine on this photo. I just couldn't get a picture without some shine and then the heat embossed sentiment was so hard to get a good photo of. Oy! The following photos are a bit better. In person, though... the sentiment and card are great! Anywho, today's cute stamp is clinking glasses! I heat embossed the glasses on a die cut circle from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies} using Wow Clear Embossing Ink with Gold Glory Embossing Powder that I melted with a Wagner Precision Heat Tool.

Inspiration for today's card comes from the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 10. The paper layers in the background are exactly what I used for my card. I did change up the strip across the card. Not sure what the measurement is... I just pulled the scrap out of the paper pack. I omitted the second piece of paper across the card and used a smaller circle.

I paired today's Advent Calendar stamp with the pretty Resolutions {paper pack}. These papers were made for this stamp!! So perfect!

I heat embossed the 'Happy New Year' sentiment from the Winter Cheer and Deer stamps using the same mix of products I mentioned above for the glasses. I wish you could see it in person. Hopefully it's more visible in the video.

You can check out my video revealing the Advent Calendar Day 24 stamp and my process in making this card here... Advent Calendar Day 24 | Unity Stamp Co.

That's it for the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity Stamp Co. I sure hope you've been inspired to ink up your new adorable stamps. Have an ink-tastic day! And, again, have a wonderful Christmas!

Advent Calendar Day 23 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 23 of the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity!! I'm revealing the Advent Calendar stamp on my YouTube channel each day and also have a short blog post. We are nearing the end, my friends!

A beautiful circle of feathers stamp is the next Advent Calendar stamp! I stamped the feathers using Mermaid Lagoon and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide inks and then die cut them using the smallest circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}.

Inspiration for today's card comes from the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 8. I didn't really use the measurements for this one. I used the largest die from the Scallops & Rectangles {nesting dies} and the middle circle die {I think} for the larger circle and then the smallest circle, as I mentioned above, for the feathers.

I paired today's Advent Calendar stamp with the gorgeous Flutter Away {paper pack}. The colors in these papers!!! So gorgeous!

I adhered the smaller circle to the larger circle and then added a bunch of foam tape to the back of both and popped them up on the A2 card.

You can check out my video revealing the Advent Calendar Day 23 stamp and my process in making this card here... Advent Calendar Day 23 | Unity Stamp Co.

I'll be back tomorrow for the last day of this years Advent Calendar from Unity!
Have an ink-tastic day!

Advent Calendar Day 22 ~ {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 40 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 22 of the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity!! I'm revealing the Advent Calendar stamp on my YouTube channel each day and also have a short blog post. I made a fun background using today's stamp with some ink smooshing and blending.

A fun snowflake stamp is the next Advent Calendar stamp! I stamped the snowflake several times with Sugar Cube Pigment ink from Taylored Expressions over the Stampers Select White card stock from Papertrey Ink and added Alabaster White embossing powder from Brutus Monroe. Melted the embossing powder with a Wagner Precision heat tool. Then I did some ink smooshing and a bit of ink blending using TE Blender Brushes from Taylored Expressions with Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks.

Inspiration for today's card comes from the current {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 40. I omitted the background paper on the right side and left some white space instead. If you need another Christmas card or maybe you want to get ahead for next year, give the {BYSHC} Sketch 40 a try and enter your card in the challenge. The challenge ends December 31st. I hope you'll join in the fun! If you'd like to see some more inspiration for the sketch check out the {BYSHC} blog.

The sentiment for today's card is from a cut apart sentiment strip that was a freebie during Brown Thursday or Black Friday... not sure. I trimmed it up and adhered it directly to the card. No foam tape this time.

This one didn't turn out how I thought it would but I like it. What do you think? If you watch the video I'd love to know if you would have kept the other ink smooshed piece for the right side or if you would have gone with the white card base like I did.

You can check out my video revealing the Advent Calendar Day 22 stamp and my process in making this card here... Advent Calendar Day 22 | Unity Stamp Co.

Looks like the Advent Calendars are out of stock... but there's some new goodies that were just released for the final release of 2023. I haven't had time to play with any of them yet, but soon I hope! I'll be back tomorrow for Day 23 of the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity! Have an ink-tastic day!

Advent Calendar Day 21 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 21 of the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity!! I'm revealing the Advent Calendar stamp on my YouTube channel each day and also have a short blog post. I had some fun with today's pretty stamp!

A pretty bunch of butterflies stamp is the next Advent Calendar stamp! I stamped the butterflies separately using Faded Jeans, Candied Apple, Mustard Seed, and Speckled Egg Distress Ink. Die cut the butterflies using the smallest circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}.

Inspiration for today's card comes from the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 3. All the pattern papers are the measurements shared in the sketch. The only thing I changed up for this one is a smaller circle and I guess the sentiment on the side.

I paired today's Advent Calendar stamp with the pretty Kindness is Magic {paper pack}. I adore the colors in these papers. They are so fun! I thought it would be fun to use the colors for the butterflies too.

I stamped the love sentiment from the Winter Cheer and Deer stamps using the Mustard Seed Distress ink. I fussy cut it and adhered it to the circle and then popped them both up using foam tape.

You can check out my video revealing the Advent Calendar Day 21 stamp and my process in making this card here... Advent Calendar Day 21 | Unity Stamp Co.

Advent Calendar Day 20 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 20 of the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity!! I'm revealing the Advent Calendar stamp on my YouTube channel each day and also have a short blog post. I can't believe it's the 20th already... wasn't it just the first week of December yesterday? So crazy! Anywho, today's stamp is just too cute!

An adorable snowman stamp is the next Advent Calendar stamp! I stamped the sweet snowman using Black Amalgam ink on a die cut I had cut using the smallest circle die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I colored up the sweet snowman using the following Copic markers: C00, C1, C3, BG70, BG72, BG75.

Inspiration for today's card comes from the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 31. I think the only change I made for this one was using the smaller circle die but all the measurements for the paper layers are what's in the sketch.

I paired today's Advent Calendar stamp with the pretty Brilliant Blizzard {paper pack} and the Getting Cozy {paper pack}... another duo paper pair up!!

I stamped the joy sentiment from the Winter Cheer and Deer stamps using the Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink. I fussy cut it and adhered it to the circle and then popped them both up using foam tape. {Please forgive the photos... not sure why the white looks so dingy.}

You can check out my video revealing the Advent Calendar Day 20 stamp and my process in making this card here... Advent Calendar Day 20 | Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's Day 19 of the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity!! I'm revealing the Advent Calendar stamp on my YouTube channel each day and also have a short blog post. I hope you're enjoying all your new stamps. Today's stamp is beautiful!

A beautiful sentiment stamp is the next Advent Calendar stamp! I heat embossed the sentiment on Real Red card stock from Stampin' Up using the TE Anti Static Powder tool and Sugar Cube Pigment ink from Taylored Expressions. I also used Alabaster White Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe. And melted the ep using a Wagner Precision Heat Tool.

Inspiration for today's card comes from the Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration Sketch 7. My paper strips and the sentiment are all a bit wider. This is such a simple and versatile sketch!

I paired today's Advent Calendar stamp with the pretty Love Is All Around Us {paper pack}. Such beautiful papers!

I also paired up the pretty sentiment with the gorgeous Poppy Girl. I stamped Poppy Girl with Black Amalgam ink and Copic colored her {off camera so the video wouldn't be too long}. Here's a quick list of the Copic markers I used:

Skin: E000, E00, E11
Hair: E51, E55, E57, E59
Hat: W0, W1, W3, R20, R14, R46
Shirt: W0, W1, W3

Advent Calendar Day 18 ~ Unity Stamp Co.

Hello there crafty friend!
It's time for Day 18 of the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity!! And it just so happens to be my birthday! I'm revealing the Advent Calendar stamp on my YouTube channel each day and also have a short blog post. I am just tickled pink about today's stamp!!

A sweet owl stamp is the next Advent Calendar stamp! It's so perfect for my birthday! I love owls! Yay! I stamped the cute owl with Vintage Photo Distress Ink on a circle die cut I cut from white card stock using a die from the Scallops & Circles {nesting dies}. I also die cut a mat circle from Garden Green card stock from Stampin' Up using the next largest circle die from the dies.

Inspiration for today's card comes from the {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 38. Now, you may be thinking I'm nuts... but this sketch really inspired my card. I omitted the four panels and turned the sketch. I wasn't able to fit the sentiment across with the circle so I placed it under the circle. I just couldn't cover up these gorgeous papers with the four panels.

I paired today's Advent Calendar stamp with the gorgeous Festive Christmas {paper pack}. You're probably tired of hearing it but these are seriously another favorite holiday paper pack! Just stunning!

I heat embossed the sentiment using the TE Anti Static Powder tool and Sugar Cube Pigment ink from Taylored Expressions. {I just realized I didn't wipe off the anti static powder so it looks a little dull - ooops!} I also used Alabaster White Embossing Powder from Brutus Monroe. And melted the ep using a Wagner Precision Heat Tool.

You can check out my video revealing the Advent Calendar Day 18 stamp and my process in making this card here... Advent Calendar Day 18 | Unity Stamp Co.

Pretty sure there's still some Advent Calendars available if you didn't order one yet. I can't help but enable, my friends! I'll be back tomorrow for Day 19 of the 2023 Advent Calendar from Unity! Have an ink-tastic day!

Inky Paws Challenge #213 ~ Sketch Challenge Reminder

 Hello there crafty friend!
There's still time to play along with the Inky Paws Challenge #213 - Sketch Challenge! You have until this coming Friday, December 22nd to get your entries in for this fun challenge and a chance to win a $20 store credit to Newton's Nook Designs!

I am seriously loving this sketch! Have you given it a try?

When I was putting away my goodies from my card last week, I remembered that I have the Meowy Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad in my stash so I thought I'd play with these papers this time. I die cut the cute paw print papers using the largest scalloped die from the Frames & Flags Die Set. I used a scrap of the blue striped papers that I adhered to a piece of kraft card stock to help create a scene card.

I stamped the adorable pup and kitties and the sentiment from the Fireside Friends Stamp Set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored them up with my Copic markers and fussy cut them with my scissors on the black line. I used a Memento Tuxdeo Black marker to color the edges which makes the fussy cutting look really nice.

Here's a quick list of the Copic Markers I used:
Orange Kitty: YR0000, YR21, YR15, R00, R20
Grey Kitty: N0, N1, N3, N5, R00, R20
Pup: E51, E55, E57, E59
Rug: R20, R14, R46
Garland: YG11, G24, G46
Bow: R20, R14, R46
Fireplace: C00, C1, C3
Wood: E55, E57, E59
Fire: Y06, YR21, YR15, YR68

I die cut the sentiment using the smallest oval die from the Oval Frames Die Set. I adhered it to the bottom edge of the cozy trio and added foam tape to the back of both pieces and popped them up on the card.

Now it's your turn to get your paws inky with your Newton's Nook Designs products and create a project using the sketch. Be sure to link up to the Inky Paws Challenge! Can't wait to see your projects!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
See ya next time.
